Last week, a bi-partisan super majority in the House passed the GIVE Act (the House version). Yesterday the Senate began considering their version, the Serve America Act.

The Serve America Act, if passed, would expand opportunities for people to serve at every stage of life, and use service to meet specific national challenges, such as tackling the dropout crisis and strengthening our schools, improving energy efficiency, safeguarding the environment, improving health care in low-income communities, expanding economic opportunities for low-income individuals, and preparing for and responding to disasters and emergencies.

Celebrating it's 25th annual Christmas Day Parade, Walt Disney World will have Corbin Bleu performing his new song "Celebrate You" during the parade. Also featured in the parade are Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers performing some special Christmas tunes. The parade airs on ABC-TV on Christmas day, December 25th, so check your local listings for times!

Dick Clark Productions president Orly Adelson announced today that ABC will broadcast the "2008 American Music Awards Red Carpet Live!" -- a special pre-show that will feature an exclusive early look at the night's top fashions and jewelry, sneak peeks at last minute preparations and rehearsals, as well as sit down interviews with 2008 AMA performers and presenters.

"Dancing with the Stars'" Carrie Ann Inaba and "The Bachelor"/"The Bachelorette's" Chris Harrison will host live from the red carpet. Pussycat Dolls' Nicole Scherzinger will be on hand as the Music Correspondent, "Project Runway" season four winner Christian Siriano will serve as the Fashion Correspondent and High School Musical's Corbin Bleu will be reporting the action from backstage. American Idol winner David Cook will perform hits from the red carpet. "2008 American Music Awards Red Carpet Live!" will broadcast on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23 (7:00- 8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC, immediately followed by the 36th annual AMAs.

Starring one of the most popular new talents from Disney's smash hit franchise "High School Musical", Corbin Bleu. Free Style is a coming-of-age story about an 18 year old young man, who is devoted to his family, and finds love and himself in his quest to win the Amateur National Motocross Championship. Free Style (aka Metal Birding) is directed by William Dear (Angels in the Outfield, Harry and the Hendersons).
