Disappointing... My first pair of crocs was the beach style in silver. From the moment I took them out of the box I was in love. It was like walking on marshmallows. I have problem feet, and the first time I wore them, I did a 36 hour shift with no pain or aching whatsoever. I wanted a black pair that I could look a little more 'normal' in, and the beach were not in stock in black, so I ordered the Cayman instead. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. These felt nothing like my first pair. They were hard, like regular plastic flip-flops. I figured that perhaps the newer model was just being made more cheaply. I returned them. Recently, I decided to give it one more shot, and I ordered a pair of crocs professionals in black. SAME BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Stiff, hard plastic. Not sure if it's just that the black material is different, or if the newer models are different than the beach. Just thought I'd put it out there to save other people the hassle of shipping these things back & forth like I have.

My first Crocs - I think I like them. They are rather ugly and make my feet look about 4 sizes larger but they sure are comfy. I bought them to wear around the house; I doubt if I would wear them "around" even though everyone is doing that. Getting the right fit is problematic.

I went through 3 pairs before I felt that I got it right and some may have problems with no side support; I don't. Although I couldn't purchase the color I wanted, overall I'm pleased with my purchase. And, as always, the Zappos service is wonderful.

I paid more with tax at my local store when I was having size problems. Tried Zappos and saved $2.00.
