NASHVILLE, TN Crystal Armentrout will perform the "National Anthem" at 7PM this SATURDAY, MAY 13TH at the Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville for the Kats Arena Football League game.
Crystal and the band will also perform an hour set before the game from 5:45PM-6:45PM in front of the GEC.
The Nashville Kats will take on Tampa Bay Storm for the season finale. This is the last Nashville Kats home game of the regular AFL season.

Crystal Armentrout is a true performer.  Crystal sings, writes and plays and is best known for her gritty guitar work; often compared to Eric Claptons style with Sheryl Crows glamour rock.  Crystal was labeled by Alanna Nash in ICE Magazine as Nashvilles Best Kept Secret.  When Crystal takes the stage, she owns it and everyone in the room with her.  Crystal is a captivating artist. 

Crystal Armentrout was winner of the 2005 Nashville Scene Music Festival Competition in the Blues/Traditional R&B category.

Born in Staunton, Virginia.  Crystal will be traveling home to perform in the Waynesboro Extravaganza on July 8^th.

Ok, so I really don't have time to browse the myspace graphics but what the hell?  I'm awake and I'm studied out.  I know it seems like I have too much time on my hands or otherwise I'd be doing something more productive but sometimes you just have to have fun.

wow, this week has been a monster.  my e-mails and phone messages are almost to the point of no return.  by the time i get to some of them, i'm sure the messages will be unpertainable (is that a word??) it's getting harder and harder for me to get all the things i want to get done, done. 

anyway, the first week of school was great!  we did analog tape editing yesterday.  very cool stuff.  cumbersome but cool. 

ramblings:  the new hank III cd is very interesting, madonna is going on tour, knowledge is power, prince has a new cd out, steve mcnair may not be a titan for much longer, 2006 nfl schedule has been announced, dancin' in the district in nashville has been indefinitely cancelled, nfl draft is 3 weeks away, jj's STILL has the very best coffee in nashville (believe me, i've tried 'em all!), check out http://www.sae.edu, i'm going to be late if i don't get my ass in gear............

hey all.  it's been awhile since i've posted.  been crazy busy as of late and here are some of the reasons why:

i started school this week at SAE institute in Nashville.  SAE stands for school of audio engineering.  it's very exciting and very intimidating at the same time.  it is also very time consuming.   i am enrolled full-time along with my good friend,  rosemary. 

i've made some changes within the band as well which has required some of my time in rehearsals and travel.  the new bass player is bob shiner and the new drummer is scott poe.  both bob and scott reside in cookeville, tn.  we have had 2 shows together thusfar.  one in cookeville at vinnie t's and one in nashville for the emergenza festival at exit/in.  we did not advance to the next round of the emergenza festival but had a great time and a great performance.  come see for yourself....our next show is at the french quarter in nashville on april 21st at 8:30 pm. 

i have changed jobs and am now working for crossroads music and movies out of virginia.  i used to work for crossroads when i lived in va. and it is good to be back with the company.  i am able to still live in nashville and still work for the company via the internet.  it's a wonderful thing.  crossroads is working on developing a website and as soon as it is launched i will post the link.

i haven't posted in awhile.  obviously i am way behind on correspondence but am going to make an effort to get caught up in the next few weeks. 

hope everyone enjoyed the holiday season.  i am excited about the new year!  new year, new music, new philosophies, new friends, new opportunities, who knows? 

some things to think about:  happiness is attainable, faster is not always better, money is overrated, infatuation is not love, life is serious but one doesn't always have to be serious to enjoy it, titans have the number three draft pick in 2006, going to a movie by yourself is actually very enjoyable, vacations are a necessity, youth like beauty is only skin deep............
