Current mood:  optimistic

So, I joined twitter (twitter.com/xizerosix) with the rest of the "last to know about it" online community and I realized after linking a great deal of my personal favorites that I was in need of an extremely serious upgrade. It struck me as a more in your face experience and left me pondering and feeling my life needed improvement.

Instead of being taken under I started to try on a confidence for size and thanks to the generosity of a local hardware store, I remained employed long enough last year to file taxes this year... I blew all of it... But like Ashton, was wondering if any of you could help me on a small mission. Unlike Ashton's mission, it's nothing fancy, and it's all the way self promotion (still not sure if his was self promotion.)

Though it may take a long long while, I am getting more of a grip on things and trying new ways to further subdue the lasting humiliation that I tend to create for myself.

Current for this week Tuesday Is Chooseday:

tuesday is chooseday

either leave your answers or a link to your webpage with your responses.

    Would you rather:

  1. Hear the constant sound of bells ringing in the background OR misunderstand half of everything said to you?

Answer: Hear constant sound of ringing bells in the background, I don't think I could afford to misunderstand much more in this lifetime.

  2. Win a prize that's paid in smaller, monthly increments OR one big, lump sum?

Answer: One big lump sum, I'm thinking I could get out of debt quicker that way.

  3. Choke on a piece of shrimp and have somebody perform the Heimlich maneuver on you to save you OR be pushed out of the way of an oncoming bus?

Answer: Both sound pretty bad but I think I would go for the Heimlich.

  4. Wake up and find all your underwear is too tight OR find all your shoes missing?

Answer: Umm, undies? [first respones was pretty gross, but agree with others about it can't go inside store without shoes to buy anything and I think other everyday attire would cover ya when you go and buy more undies. Or something of that sort.]

SEOUL (Tue Feb 22, 9:00 AM ET) - Some South Korean homeless are dressing in style after the government gave away thousands of fake designer garments confiscated by customs agents. The Korea Customs Service distributed more than 3,500 fake pieces in the southern city of Pusan this month with the permission of the fashion houses whose designs had been pirated. A customs official declined to name the designers whose ripped-off creations are now being worn by the homeless but said both they and the state prosecutors had approved giving away the jackets, blouses, shirts and pants. "We hope this will be of some help to the poor who need practical assistance in such hard times," the official said. Customs agents removed the labels from the clothes before giving them to a welfare agency for distribution. South Korea has a vibrant illegal market in pirated designer clothing and customs officials said there would be more handouts. "We will continue to look for useful ways to pass along the clothes -- it saves us the cost of destroying what we have confiscated," the Customs Service said in a statement. One homeless man, who asked not to be identified, said he appreciated the fancy threads. "I don't care about the quality of the clothes, but these designs are quite trendy," the recipient said.
