Dear online friends,

I apologize for my lack of blog updates. I have beeen forced into living in the real world instead of in cyborspace by the stupid economy. You know, the one causing layoffs and other wide spread panic.

I spend my days with my husband, Jack, who has been laid off since Jan 1. We have been working outside, sightseeing around town, watching a lot of movies from the library and trying not to stress until the construction business takes off again.

I have started my crazy quilt business back up too, and that keeps me busy. I amaze my self (at the risk of sounding like a braggart lol) each and every day with my artwork.

My music has taken a back seat since I have no time to myself to play.. I did get to play for a group of about 10 friends at a get-together one Saturday night. None of them even knew I played so it was pretty fun showing off....hmm there's that bragging again...... *sigh*

So anyways, I hope you don't forget about me while I am in the real world. I haven't forgotten about you.

It's not been the best week for me. I caught some kind of virus and it laid me up for a few days. I hate that. I really do. I am better now and since Meg told me she wanted to know me better I thought I'd give her a glimpse of life here in Colorado with my sweetie, Jack.
