FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JANUARY 18, 2008
Acclaimed Songstress And AMERICAN IDOL Finalist
AMANDA COLUCCIO
Prepares To "Fly Away" With Exciting New iTunes Release!
DATELINE: JANUARY 18, 2008 | Daniel Metcalf Public Relations
|
JANUARY 18, 2008 – (LOS ANGELES, CA / HOLMDEL, NJ DM/PR) – As the Seventh Season of Fox TV's hit reality series American Idol begins dominating the airwaves this week, one of Season Six's most accomplished and gifted stars, 21 year old New Jersey-based singer / songwriter Amanda Coluccio, is back in the public eye as well, thanks to the successful release of her latest single, Fly Away, on iTunes.
This infectious new tune is just the latest benchmark in a career that just keeps getting hotter. A beautiful and accomplished performer who has received musical training since she was seven years old, Amanda's involvement in American Idol saw her not only getting selected as a Hollywood Finalist, but making it all the way to the final round as one of the top 30 female performers in the United States. Shortly after her Idol triumph, the enterprising Ms. Coluccio took the excitement to the next level by releasing Push N Touch, a provocative dance number that received press in everything from The Post Chronicle to TMZ.Com
This engaging performer's outgoing personality and exuberant talent have since made her a regular staple in the mainstream media. Since her Idol appearance last year, Amanda has appeared on Larry King Live, The Today Show, The Fox News Channel, CNN News, and The Morning Show. She has also been a guest on numerous radio talk shows, including AM stations WABC and WOR in New York and FM stations Z100 and 94.3 the Point.
While Push N Touch was an impressive showcase for her talents, Fly Away, for which she co-wrote both the music and lyrics, represents the ultimate maturation of her abilities as a musician. Though it can be categorized as pop with a strong R&B edge, the song manages to recall everyone from Mariah Carey to Christina Aguilera and R. Kelly without ever sounding quite like anyone but Amanda Coluccio. Fly Away is now available on iTunes.
For her part, this personable brunette beauty is justifiably proud of the new track, observing that "I'm thrilled the single is out on iTunes. This is a song I really had fun writing and recording, and I think that it comes across in what my fans will hear!" To learn more this exciting and charismatic new songstresses, visit her online at www.amandacolucciomusic.com >
And don't forget to visit www.iTunes.com to hear the exciting vocals showcased on Fly Away. Mere talent is meaningless when it simply sits there waiting to be admired like a set of china plates, but every note Amanda Coluccio slings at you glows with vitality. Her music is usually festive and exuberant, and occasionally beautifully plaintive.
And it's always dazzling!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: NOVEMBER 5, 2007
MR. CANNIBAL:
Award Winning Metal Masters
RUSTY EYE
Unleash The Year's Most Controversial Music Video!
DATELINE: November 5, 2007 | Daniel Metcalf Public Relations
|
--> -->LOS ANGELES, CA - (November 5, 2007 DMPR) - Mexico City-bred, Los Angeles-based rockers Rusty Eye are certainly a rare breed in today's Metal scene. With over twelve years of experience that's seen them release four uniformly excellent albums (with a fifth on the way), they continue to bring both a brazenly unique perspective to today's monochromatic musical landscape. And the band's singular vision and independent spirit have never been more in evidence than in their controversial new music video Mr. Cannibal, based on the their hit LA Music Awards award-winning single of the same name.
A darkly erotic blend of surging rhythm and disturbing visual imagery that recalls the work of such Italian horror masters Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci, Mr. Cannibal was shot on 16 mm and directed, co-produced, and financed by noted cinematographer Alejandro Ordoñez. Other industry luminaries who brought their talents to the production include producer Eric Leach (Cabin Fever), editor Johnny Bachelier (Fronterz), and colorist Bryan Robbins (Something's Wrong in Kansas).
Having shared stages with bands such as Doro, Vixen, Katatonia, and Moonspell, Rusty Eye delivers an eclectic sui generis brand of music which attracts listeners of Heavy Rock, Punk, Progressive, and Thrash Metal, while their dark, gothic imagery appeals to horror movie enthusiasts as well.
Although they initially emerged during an era dominated by Guns 'N Roses and Metallica, from the beginning Rusty Eye have always offered adventurous fans something a bit heavier, a darker metal essence closer in feel to the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal than Faster Pussycat or Poison.
Yes, singer & drummer Miss Randall and bassist Mr. Rust are among the chosen few who've been handed the secret key to the magic that is Rock & Roll, and as your body is plunged into a twitching frenzy by their sonic storms, you'll also find a smile spreading inexorably across your face. Don't fight it, because that's what it's all about. Heavy makes you happy.
And while Rusty Eye can be an unbelievably heavy, loud, and powerful band to experience live, the high quality and dark inventiveness found in Mr. Rust & Miss Randall's writing has always put the band a cut above many of the more celebrated acts of yesterday and today, blending the raw metal power of Celtic Frost and Venom with complex arrangements reminiscent of King Crimson and Rush.
So go to YouTube and check out the greatest video yet from the band that continues to deliver the alternative to the alternative.
Check out Rusty Eye. It's darkly seductive, intense rock that's usually festive and exuberant, occasionally darkly plaintive.
And it's always dazzling.

|
--> -->About Rusty Eye: --> -->Rusty Eye was formed in 1995 in Mexico City by original founders Mr. Rust (bass and vocals), Dr. Eye (guitars and vocals) and Daniel Acosta (drums). The band previously went under the name of Scarecrow and Poltergeist in 1993 and 1994 respectively.
After cutting several independent DIY demos, the band recorded their first LP Rust N' Roll in 2000 in Mexico City at Mixtlan studios. Rust N' Roll was recorded under the lineup of: Mr. Rust (bass and vocals), Dr. Eye (guitars and vocals) and Leo Haze (drums). The album was produced by Mr. Rust, engineered by Josue Gonzalez (also producer/engineer of Mexican hardcore metal band Unusual Sickness) and mastered by Edgar Hernandez. This album was released in Mexico in the year 2001 and in the US in 2003 under the band's own Indie label Epoche Records.
The band relocated to Hollywood, California in 2004. This lineup now included female drummer Miss Randall, a U.S. citizen as well who lived in Mexico City and had joined in the year 2003. Miss Randall (real name Juliet Randall), also an Audio Engineering graduate, started the band's second production Cryogenic in 2005 (now with the addition of Rev. Jonny Dee doing guitars). This three-song single was produced and mixed by Miss Randall. The mastering was finished at Universal Mastering Studios by mastering engineer Mark Omann. Within this same year, the band won the "Best Female Drummer of the Year Award" from LA music scene magazine Rock City News.
Shortly after 2006 started, the band replaced Rev. Dee with guitarist The Baron. With this line-up (Miss Randall, The Baron & Mr. Rust), Rusty Eye started their next LP Stendhal Syndrome, (recorded, mixed and produced by Miss Randall; mastered by Universal Mastering Studios' Mark Omann). This album was released via the band's own Epoche Records on the fall of 2006 next to their live album Live at the Joint MMVI. For the new studio album, the band was awarded Best Metal Single of the Year for the song "Mr. Cannibal" (by the LA Music Awards), and Best Male Bass Player of the Year 2006 (by LA's "Rock City News Awards"). They were also listed in the US Music Industry and Trade Magazine Music Connection's "Top 100 Unsigned Artists of 2006".

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: JULY 17, 2007
Controversial MURDER-SET-PIECES Creator NICK PALUMBO And GUNSLINGER MEDIA Founder STEPHAN MILLER Join Forces To Create The $5 Million Shocker CORPSE
DATELINE: JULY 17, 2007 | Daniel Metcalf Public Relations
|
LOS ANGELES, CA - (JULY 17, 2007 DMPR) - Internet innovator Stephan Miller's Gunslinger Media and infamous Hollywood writer-director-producer Nick Palumbo's Fright Flix Productions today announced a partnership to produce the highly controversial five million dollar horror film Corpse. Expected to receive an NC-17 for its extreme content, Corpse will be Palumbo's first new film since his horrific NC-17 feature Murder-Set-Pieces began shocking audiences three years ago. The maverick filmmaker describes the new multi-million dollar project as "a personal vision of the apocalypse. Just as 'Murder-Set-Pieces' took the slasher genre in new directions, 'Corpse' redefines the zombie film."
Palumbo is excited to have partnered with someone who shares both his vision and his approach to business. "I am very proud of my new partnership with Gunslinger Media. I have been looking for quite some time to find someone with the same sensibilities and work ethic. Stephan is a bold and visionary entrepreneur, and this is just the beginning of what I believe will be a lifelong partnership. When I presented Stephan with my ideas for 'Corpse,' he was very excited to be a part of what will surely be a groundbreaking horror film."
Gunslinger Media Founder and CEO Stephan Miller is equally pleased with the new alliance, observing, "Nick Palumbo is an extremely talented writer and director, and has a good business sense of the film industry, with an extreme focus on the horror genre."
Miller is no stranger to the film industry, having worked on such films as The Island of Dr. Moreau and Kevin Costner's The Postman as an exotic animal trainer before moving into independent production. Corpse has also attracted the attention and talents of special effects technician Vincent Guastini, whose resume includes Clint Eastwood's Academy Award-winning Letters From Iwo Jima, Michael Mann's Oscar winner The Last Of The Mohicans, and Darren Aronofsky's Academy Award-nominated Requiem For A Dream. New York Independent Film And Video Festival Award winner Brendan Flynt, who provided the stylish and disturbing images found in Murder-Set-Pieces, will be returning to the Palumbo fold to serve as Corpse's director of photography.
For an industry veteran like Gaustini, Corpse offers an opportunity to see his work shine in an unfettered, creative environment, free from the "filmmaking by committee" approach so often found in Hollywood. "I'm excited by the opportunity to work so closely with Nick. He's allowing me to create monsters with the same kind of freedom of expression Rob Bottin experienced working with John Carpenter on 'The Thing.' With Nick, I know my art will be seen in the film, and not on the cutting room floor."
Since creating the NC-17 Murder-Set-Pieces over 3 years ago, controversy has followed Palumbo's signature work everywhere. From its status of being the only mainstream feature in Hollywood history to be rejected by no less than three film labs due to its ultra-violent imagery, to being denounced by such leading horror publications as Fangoria and Rue Morgue for its disturbing content, the movie's visceral approach to terror has quickly become the stuff of legend.
Through it all, Palumbo has remained committed to his vision, and is happy to report that "Stephan is able to see and embrace my vision as well. Simply put, I make the kinds of horror films that I would pay to see: atmospheric, ultra-violent, and horrific, and all shot on glorious 35mm film. Stephen and I have the same goals in mind, and that is to revolutionize the horror film industry."
Indeed, Miller is no stranger to controversy himself. As co-publisher of Girls And Corpses magazine with Robert Steven Rhine, he oversees an irreverent comedy publication that depicts pretty girls with rotting corpses. With a watchful eye on the horror community, the magazine's website was voted the most vile site on the Internet by a prestigious New York advertising firm, and Google has denied the site advertising. Taking it all in stride, Miller notes, "they just don't get what we are all about yet, but they will."
As part of this new partnership, Miller and Palumbo will document the making of Corpse for all to see on the net using video, podcasts, stills and a daily blog diary by the two exclusively on The Underground Horror Movie Network, (www.uhmn.com), an online horror community that features Miller as co-founder and Palumbo as a newly appointed board member.
About this cutting edge social networking site, Palumbo enthuses, "The Underground Horror Movie Network proves just what a unique and visionary person Stephan really is. This community will change the way horror films are viewed by the public in the future." The 'Corpse' diaries are going to be like nothing fans have been privy to in the past. This will be a real treat for horror fans and budding filmmakers alike!"
In Miller's view, "fans want to know what happens from pre-production to the final cut, and they do not want to wait for the DVD to come out. We are reversing the process. You can watch what we go through, and then see the movie."
The Corpse diaries will begin September 1st, 2007, with filming scheduled to commence in early December, 2007. The film is slated for a 2008 release.
Corpse stems from an idea Palumbo had years ago, while driving across the country on a three day road trip. "We are shooting the apocalypse on 35mm, on location in the desolate plains of an ice cold winter in the heartland of America." Like all Palumbo films, Corpse will take the viewer to a place they have never before seen.

DMPR PRESS RELEASE | DATELINE May 15, 2007

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Amid Angelic Vocals And Epic Choruses,
THE DIVINE MADNESS
Ushers In
THE RAPTURE
Two-Disc Collector's Edition CD SECRETS Blends Gothic Rock With Operatic Flourishes
_______________________________________________________________
LOS ANGELES, CA - (May 15, 2007 DMPR) - With their double album SECRETS currently being hailed as "a perfect combination of rock, pop, and classical influences" (MONSTERS & CRITICS), Los Angeles' THE DIVINE MADNESS are pleased to announce that they are putting the finishing touches on their eagerly awaited follow up, THE RAPTURE.
In stores now, SECRETS has been lauded as a triumph of prolific songwriting, intense performances, and beautiful images. The album takes the listener on an epic journey to heaven and hell; the first disc is entitled 'Paradiso' and the second 'Inferno.' When asked about the band's inspiration, charismatic songwriter and vocalist VICTORIA MAZZE cites influences spanning "death, birth, love, lust, mortality, immortality, sacrifice, religion, politics, stories in the paper, stories from children's books, and personal experiences. We are addicted to feeling."
Yet even though the inventive arrangements, unique harmonies, unusual rhythms, and flirtations with classical elements give the musical sophisticate plenty to chew on, The Divine Madness' songs are always uniquely accessible, and that's part of the magic. The classical influences aren't present for the sake of mere eclecticism. Instead, they bring additional force, dimension, and texture to the deliciously lyrical melodies and haunting vocal harmonies.
The Divine Madness marks the rebirth of cinematic Goth/Rock with style, echoing such Eighties artists as Berlin, Sisters Of Mercy, and Siouxsie and The Banshees while challenging such contemporaries as Evanescence and Lacuna Coil.
Are they Art Rock? Art New Wave? Whatever the label may be, the band breathes originality. Victoria and her collaborators have carved out a distinct sound of angelic vocals with epic choruses, cinematic alt/rock/classical instrumentation, and electronic flourishes, all with a sensual gothic touch.
As SECRETS continues to enjoy critical success, the band is hard at work on THE RAPTURE. About the new project, percussionist Chris Cano reveals "most of the material for the next album is already finished; we are constantly looking to the future." As a collection of inventive melodies and unexpected combinations of sound, THE RAPTURE promises to be the most adventurous release these talented artists have yet produced.
With a ½ cup of wit, a sparkle of imagination, and a pinch of madness, these gifted artisans have succeeded in bringing pop music to a new plateau. Technique is worthless if it sits there asking to be admired like pretty china plates, but every note The Divine Madness slings at you glows with vitality. It's usually festive and exuberant, occasionally beautifully plaintive. And it's always dazzling.
Quite simply, you've never heard anything like this before.

"The Divine Madness create beautiful, atmospheric music with a strong vocal front, and anyone who likes gothic music will love it. Highly recommended and they have a bright future ahead of them." - Killer Dienamite Magazine

Announces San Diego, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, San Francisco, and Reno Tour Dates!
January 29, 2007 | A Personal Message From Patrice Pike
|
Hello my People!
How's life around the world wherever you are? It has been cold, icy and trippy here in Austin with our winter weather. We had one day of warm sun which was SWEET and I got out with my sweet puppy and ran and played frisbee and had a blast. I am about to eat some delicious dinner and chill out tonight.
So, yes! California bound and I'm psyched to get out and play in San Diego, L.A., Santa Cruz, San Fran, and Reno. Calling out to all my California sweethearts to come out and see the shows, chat, and be real with the music. It will be really fine to do that after the last freaky trip I had to California this summer (you know what I'm talking about...)
So let me know if you are out there. Come on out and play!
Peace,
Patrice

PATRICE PIKE PR | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 29, 2006
CBS Rock Star: Supernova Top Seven Finalist
PATRICE PIKE
Wins 2006 "Rock Artist Of The Year" Award
From The Beverly Hills Outlook
AUSTIN TX / BEVERLY HILLS CA (December 29, 2006 DMPR) - As the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Austin-based Sister Seven, Patrice Pike toured the United States and Western Europe diligently in support of three independent releases and three major label albums. But now, with her solo career turning red hot thanks to a new CD and months of global television exposure on CBS' top-rated Rock Star: Supernova, the woman Rolling Stone describes as "Tina Tuner, Bessie Smith, Janis Joplin and Robert Plant rolled into a tiny but explosive package" is seeing all the hard work pay off in the form of healthy CD sales (for her latest release, Unraveling), well-attended shows, and now, a brand new award christening her 2006's Rock Artist Of The Year from the respected Southern California arts and culture journal The Beverly Hills Outlook.
Patrice's recently announced Beverly Hills Outlook triumph marks just the latest victory in a year replete with sucess on regional, national, and international levels. Although the CD has been on store shelves for only eleven weeks, songs from Unraveling have been connecting with audiences for many months. The title track garnered an Honorable Mention in the 2005 Mountain Stage New Song Contest, presented by Performing Songwriter magazine, and the mesmerizing Beautiful Thing became an instant hit when Patrice performed it live for Dave Navarro, Tommy Lee, Jason Newsted, Gilby Clarke and millions of viewers around the world earlier this year on Rock Star: Supernova.
Having shared the stage with Dave Matthews, Sarah McLachlan, Natalie Merchant, Blues Traveler, the Allman Brothers and the Indigo Girls, and performed opening sets for everyone from the late Ray Charles to Cake, Soul Asylum, Cheap Trick, and the Neville Brothers, Patrice has established herself as one of the best and most versatile stage performers of her generation, a claim that's aptly supported by the magnificence of her unplugged CD Live at the Brushwood Lounge.
From her own independent releases to a summer of intercontinental TV exposure, Patrice Pike has used her years on the road and in the studio to develop and mature as a singer, writer, and performer.
Don't miss out when this Beautiful Thing and newly crowned Rock Artist Of The Year brings her magic to a venue near you.

PATRICE PIKE PR | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: October 24, 2006
CBS Rock Star: Supernova Top Seven Finalist
PATRICE PIKE
Launches 2006 Tour In Support Of Her New CD
UNRAVELING
AUSTIN TX - (October 24, 2006 DMPR) - As the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the Austin-based Sister Seven, Patrice Pike toured the United States and Western Europe diligently in support of three independent releases and three major label albums. But now, with her solo career turning red hot thanks to a new CD and months of global television exposure on CBS' top-rated Rock Star: Supernova, the woman Rolling Stone describes as "Tina Tuner, Bessie Smith, Janis Joplin and Robert Plant rolled into a tiny but explosive package" is embarking on her own national tour, and in a move that brings both the past and present full circle, she's kicking off the excitement with a Sister Seven reunion show this Friday, October 27th, 2006, at Antone's in Austin, Texas.
Although the CD has been on store shelves for only a matter of days, songs from Patrice's latest Tape Slap Records release, Unraveling, have been connecting with audiences for months.
From Sister Seven..s informal beginnings to their Billboard-charting radio singles, from her own independent releases to a Summer of intercontinental TV exposure, Patrice Pike has used her years on the road and in the studio to develop and mature as a singer, writer, and performer.
Don't miss out when this Beautiful Thing brings her magic to a venue near you.

Boston MA - (OCTOBER 6, 2006 DMPR) - Downtown Boston's legendary Felt nightclub was the scene last night as EME Productions, in conjunction with the non-profit cancer research charity Indie Music For Life, presented a Breast Cancer Awareness month fundraiser that featured high-energy music from some of the nation's finest female solo artists and female fronted bands.
An intimate songwriters in the round session kick started the evening, focusing on Indiegrrl members Jess Yoakum, Patti De Rosa, and Indigrrl President Vicki Blankenship, but the real intensity came courtesy of short, blistering sets from the finest exponents of female fronted New England Rock & Roll, including the Elena James Band, Velvet Stylus, and Maria McNeil.
