  Some times you just got to love the heard. As you would guess, me being an publicly open COS member and making my living as a Dark Artist, I get a ton of emails from crazed christians, nutty devil worshipers and the heard. It makes you laugh at some of the things that these people have to say and over the weekend I got this email:

 Hello all, 


 Here is one of my newest works. Yes friends I am doing an Exorcist painting. It is about 50% done right now and it shouldn't take to much longer till its finished. I have been wanting to do more painting as of late and since The Exorcist is one of my all time favorite movies, I figured that this would be a great piece to start on.

Life has been more then chaotic since the end of the “Opening the Gates” group show. Tons of work, sickness and two semi major injuries to my dominant (sculpting/drawing) hand. But now everything is healed and back on track. Soon I’ll have pics and info on a project that I’m working on with another COS Warlock. I am in the midst of updating my official website, www.dvlstudio.com, so stop on over and check it out. Here are some pictures of 2 new drawings, and yes they are for sale. Let me know what you think. They look a hell of alot better in person, my work seems to get washed out in photos.

Yesterday when I woke up, the day had a very strange feel to it and it persisted all day long. When I got home from the bronze foundry there was a large envelope in the mail and the return address was from C/S NY:

So I am very pleased and honored to announce that on April 11, 2008, year 43 AS, I was elevated to Warlock in the Church of Satan.
