Been awhile I know. But for good reason! I've been hard at work writing and producing songs for my new project and others (hopefully I'll have it out sometime next year). Yea yea I know these things take time. But me and my band won't be sitting on our hands. We want to play more and more and keep getting feedback from your awesome energy every night we're out. So we'll be doing short dual/tri-city tour runs throughout the summer to keep the vibes moving and the happy feelings going (thank you Maze). We WANT to tour. And these one-off shows gives us a chance to play longer sets and try out new songs with you guys! So the first quick run is below, come out and bring TONS of friends to fill up the place, in fact buy tickets early so it's a guarantee. Make a night out of it and we promise to deliver a great show. More dates to come. And as always your keep me working so thank you, see you on the road...

 Found this crazy article today about music artists that have died at 27 (including Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, etc). I'm 26 and my birthday's next month so it struck me. Check it out: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=102670912&sc=nl&cc=mn-20090408Read more blogs...

Hey, we're playing a great show this weekend in Nashville. We're headlining the famous WRLT Sunday Night Series this coming Sunday night in Nashville (past headliners: James Morrison, Los Lonely Boys, Gabe Dixon Band, and Howie Day, etc.) I follow the station pretty consistently, so to be asked to play live on the air for an hour is a gift. I wanna share it with my fans and friends however, so we need people to come fill the room up...don't listen to it on the radio, BE on the radio from the audience! Plus, my good friend Jason Eskridge opens to show for 40 minutes, I feel a night to remember coming on...see you there. Sunday, April 5th 3rd & Lindsley (Nashville, TN) Doors 6pm Show 8pm $8

 It took me until high to learn how to spell certain words like wednesday, which i still have to sound out (wed...nes...day). I'm just sayin, don't try to spell check some my lyrics, u might be disappointed. Speaking of lyrics I thought I'd share some from a new song I wrote. I don't do this often b/c when other people share they're lyrics online i'm always like "Huh!? Can I hear it with the music please..." cuz I have slight readers A.D.D. But hey, this songs I great one that I've had for awhile, not recorded fully, only demo'd so far but here it goes. Have a great day. today I'm writing with none other than Daniel Ellsworth. Check him out. YOU ARE ME (D. Anderson)Verse 1: You are the sun after the rain You are my joy after the pain You turned my spark into a flame So I am convinced, no I'm not ashamed
Chorus: You belong inside my arms From sunrise until sun dawn Love me 'til all love is gone Cause you are me
Verse 2: Lady, your touch is soft as the wind Your lips invite again and again If no one claims you I shall not pretend I'll catch your love and I'll close my hand
Chorus: (Repeat--> music break)
Bridge: I'll hold your place, will you hold mine I'll hold your place, will you hold mine I'll hold your hand, won't you hold mine
Verse 3: Trust, my eyes they'll stay right on My hands will fall right behind you too No secret love this is public view You rescued me now why don't you let me rescue you
Chorus: (Repeat to End)

 Well, I must say I've played my hometown several times over the past 2 years, but Louisville exceeded every expectation...the show was sold out within the first 30 minutes of opening act! Thanks to Maetsro J and his band for playing a perfect performance and setting me up very, very well. My boy, our WMIPer, Damien Horne and Albert Shumake were in attendance along with alot of old friends and new friends/fans packed inside this cozy little shack called The Rudyard Kipling (thanks Ken). The mesh was great and fun was had by all! Be back soon. Guaranteed! And thanks to Ear X-Tacy for another great in-store. See More WMIP Blogs
