we're French, can't you tell?

So summer's been getting busy. I started interning for Mike Young Productions which has been fun. Lots of nice people. Been doing some hiking, reading, a little painting, more drawing. I've been going to the hollywood forever cemetery screenings, old movies in the graveyard, what could be better? The photo is from the Ratatouille screening at RedCat theater at which we were the caricature artists.

the Hive opening last saturday was super! I took some pictures of the installation I did... the 1st one is kind of a messy photo collage, trying to capture all sides of the walls.

I had so much fun doing this, I'd love to do another one sometime.

DeVotchKa just about made my brain explode (heh heh heh) with there greatness. I really haven't seen a more talented band. Saul Williams, Timur Bekbosunov and everyone else who preformed with them were great to. It was really cool because Catherine and I got to go to the show for free (thanks to DeVotchKa and there manager Rob) and hang out afterwards backstage with the band (because of the film I made to there song) I'm still just so happy they let me use the song in the first place and was very impressed by how nice they are : )!!
yay!
Also I've been updating my website... I'm putting up new stuff but also trying to take old crap down and turn everything into thumbnails (trying to make the site not look like it was made in the year 2000... oh wait it was including the software : P )
the updates aren't finished yet but please take a look if you've got the time :D

Gradually, submissions were accepted from colleges and universities throughout Southern California. We are now accepting entries from schools nationwide. Shorttakes is a one night event, which will show a variety of student works.
