Dave Horne is a producer / DJ from Cambridge, UK whose productions
definitely slot into the 'Quality Trance' genre. 'What Lies Between' has
until now been exclusive to Solarstone's 'Electronic Architecture' CD,
but now we present it to you with two classy remixes. The Original mix
is a silky smooth trance production, a subtle, melodic and infectious
big-room crowd-pleaser. The Retroid remix is bordering on deep house,
utilizing the original melodies in a very subtle yet beautiful mix.
Harley Soan draws the track out into an epic progressive trancer, it is
quality all the way here with pristine production and an intelligent
arrangement that harks back to the halcyon days of Nick Warren and
Sasha's epic GU trance sets. THE PACKAGE IS AVAILABLE FROM 24TH AUGUST 2009. BUY IT FROM http://www.beatport.com

Dave Horne is slowly establishing himself as a force to be reckoned with on the underground UK dance music scene. Initially making a name for himself as warm-up DJ for stars such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Paul Oakenfold at The Gallery @ Turnmills in London, and for the likes of Eric Prydz at Fabric in London. With this ever expanding and impressive CV in DJing, his productions are also rising up through the ranks. Signed to one of the World’s biggest Progressive House labels Baroque Records his first release ‘The Road to March’ (under his ‘DJH’ alias) was supported by a whole host of big names from Eric Prydz to the Thrillseekers. Dave’s more upbeat productions can be heard on labels such as Nu-Depth Recordings, Solaris and now Guess. His recent remix of Asymmetric Soul “Diamonde” on Guess saw global club and radio support so it was a natural progression with the Guess team to have him featured as an artist in his own right. The first of two signings to Guess, “Mellow Summer”, characterises his blend of progressive and trance perfectly, providing a melodic and atmospheric soundscape, driving bass lines and epic breakdowns. Not to overdo the remix statistics, Richard Earnshaw breaks out his deeper solo outfit of Sole Unity. Crisp production, swinging beats and bass and smooth musical elements resulting in a concoction which will no doubt attract Earnshaw and Spiritchaser fans alike. The package is available exclusively from http://www.beatport.com from Friday 28th August. It gets a full release on 25th September.

THE DAVE HORNE REMIX OF WATERSPARK 'LEGO' IS AVAILABLE NOW. THE REMIX HAS RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM SOLARSTONE AND MANY MORE. SEE BANNER ABOVE FOR MORE INFORMATION! Label PromotionWe welcome another new name to nu-depth recordings, and it's a name you
sure to hear a lot more of in the future. Daniel Costache hasn't been
producing for that long under his Waterspark alias but with productions like this he is sure to get noticed very quickly.
His track ' Lego'
is the perfect opener for any trance set, with the melody opening
things up on its own, the track soon bursts into live with a hypnotic
groove and electrifying bass. The breakdown is one of the most well
constructed we've ever heard and received plaudits from the remixers
involved. This is one track that will keep you sucked in right until
the very end as it's that damn interesting and beautifully made.
With the remixes it's a great pleasure to have on board three artists who are making plenty of noise on the scene. Andy Blueman
of Perceptive Recordings gets things rolling, and we couldn't have
thought of anyone better to add an emotional and uplifting feel to this
track but still giving enough energy to keep the floor rocking.
With releases on Discover Dark and Kill The Lights, Gary Maguire
is another man from Ireland who is showing how Trance should be done.
Here he steps away from his more banging techy sound, and instead goes
for a more progressive, uplifting sound that still packs plenty of
punch and includes his trademark sounds and an extremely catchy
bassline.
Last up is Dave Horne, after his debut on
nu-depth digital we just knew we had to get his Progressive House sound
on this release. Here he doesn't let us down one bit, throwing in a bit
of an electro mood but still adding distinctive stabs of the original
track to keep the mood uplifting. Watch this guy go in 2009 CLICK HERE TO BUY THE TRACK
