I am sad to say that I have come to that point in my life where I felt I 'needed' to dye my hair :(  Not for pleasure or for that 'new look' but for the greys I found.  BUT I have been very fortunate to not have had to dye until now.  I could've waited, sure.  It was only a handful but enough to make me want to go ahead and start.

Well...other than the traditional 'dye your hair natural color' I went with a sort of change.  Trying to create a new look and well I don't think it turned out very well!!

I have very dark dark brown hair...it's almost black really and decided to lighten it up so I went with Ash Brown, kind of a medium brown and it turned out pretty decent...it wasn't such a drastic change and could get use to it....well upon giving my oldest son blonde tips (Highlighting) I thought I'd try and add that as well!  I mean, he had so much left over anyway...why not??

This is where the problem occured.  The 'blonde' highlights turned redish and it just looked terrible.  Everyone seemed to like it but I wasn't happy so I went and got a kit that did both, the dying and highlighting.  Still even after that I wasn't happy.  The highlights were lighter in color but it just doesn't do well for me so now I'm up in the air about changing it back to the chocolate color without highlights.  I so wanted to have them but unless I have it down professionally then it's just not gonna work.

Oh well...I am blessed I haven't had to dye until my age of 39.  My Momma started going gray in her mid to late 20's!!!!  so yes, very greatful I have lasted until now!!!

I just wanna change....I think every woman goes through this several times in their lives....I know I'm not alone but it's frustrating to know what to do...lol

Everybody’s searching for someone
Been down a thousand highways
I never thought would end
Baby, I’ve been

Waiting all my life to find you
Always been one step behind you
Your love babe
I’ve been waiting all my life

I was tired of waiting
Every night was praying
Everyday would be the day I’d find you
I grew so impatient, how long would it take
To know you were out there somewhere
Somewhere waiting, wondering just like me

I’ve been waiting all my life to love you
All that time I was dreaming of you
Your love babe
I’ve been waiting all my life

And did I lose faith, did I lose heart
Maybe I did, but I never lost my way
To where you are

Your love I’ve been waiting
Your love I’ve been waiting all my life
All my life, all my life

Someone please tell me or explain to me what rights a policeman has to treat innocent people like low-life scum?

What makes a man think he can just walk and talk over a woman?  Where is it written that because you wear a law enforcement uniform, you are given the right to harrass young girls that are by themselves?

Who the hell does he think he is?  He isn’t given permission by the state to attack innocent girls over a traffic violation which wasn’t a violation to begin with??  How can he look in the eyes of this young beautiful teary eyed scared to death young lady and treat her as if she was some sort of criminal hauling guns and riffles in her glove box??  Give her shit for being out at 8:30 at night demanding to know where she’s been, where she’s going and if her parents knew where she was??  You know what?? It’s none of his damn business what’s she’s doing, where she’s going, who she’s going with, and mostly threaten her by telling her she’s going to have all kinds of fines, stand infront of a judge and plead her case..plus state that she better have a good paying job because it’ll cost her plenty?? OMG...give me a freakin break already...giving her a ticket for not being able to present her insurance information when he wouldn’t let her get in her glove box to get it??? What kind of shit is that??   Pulling her over for tailgaiting when she was basically boxed in?? Who does that sort of thing??  Isn’t there some serious crimes to spend your time on?? Can’t you go and find a thief or someone who is actually breaking the law??

Oh I can’t stand that cop....and no one will do a damn thing to him because of his racial status.  I don’t care, I’m still marching down there, having my say and put in a formal complaint.  That’s unnecessary harrassment.

Ewww I just wanna spit on him!

I have lucked out in the previous years of not having to serve as a juror for the county I live in......until now.  I was served papers two weeks ago and had my first experience yesterday.  And what an experience it was.....sheesh.  Out of 31 jurors they chose me as one of the twelve to serve for this particular case which ended up being a  Criminal case in the Circuit Courts.  Not only was I chose to be a juror but the Foreperson (speaker) for the whole twelve of us.  The whole thing started at 8am and didn't end until 9:30 pm last nite.  Charges were the manufactoring of methamphentime.  (meth lab)  So many others were quick to judge a person but I needed to be 100% sure before sending someone to the penitentiary.  I couldn't live with myself if I sent someone to do time for something they were innocent of.  It was another lady and myself that had doubts but in the wording of the charges and definitions we had to do what was correct by the law.  By what was given to us as the 'laws'.  It was a long long process for us to decide....stories didn't match among the whitnesses, answers to the questions were etchy....just a terrible experience and I never want to do this again!

The next date that I have to appear in is Jan 11th.  I hope HOPE that they don't pick me to serve.....just send me HOME!!!  Ick....

Current mood:  content

We say our goodbye's to Paris Bennett.   Although she has a strong voice she just wasn't cut out to be the next American Idol.  Why??  Well, I think that allot of it has to do with her 'mini-mouse' voice.  Allot of people seem to believe it's a put-on voice since her singing voice is so strong and adult-like.  Personally I think she has a fabulous personality and a sort of glow about her.  I have no worries for Paris as she will continue to go far as long as it's what she wants..

Goodbye Paris....you will be missed!!

Current mood:  tired

I have to agree with Randy Jackson....last nite was a 'wild' nite.  With saying that, here is my scoop on last nite's performances.....

Paris..........Why in the world did she choose 'Kiss' by Prince???  There are so many more awsome songs she could've picked to sing to blow us away..  She did good, don't get me wrong but c'mon, Prince??  Now with her second song, she did okay.  I just don't believe she has enough of a fan base to make it one more round.

Elliot.....rofl @ myself....I actually enjoyed listening to him sing his first song.  I don't like to watch him perform but I think he did great.  His second song, though I can't remember it, I believe was good as well.

Chris......Renegade by Styx, a classic.  One of my favorites old songs and he did the song justice.  There were a few 'off-key' notes but all in all it was great.  His second song, I Dare You, was a little hard on him hitting those high notes but he belted it out best he could.  I think he has been straining his voice some.

Taylor....sheesh what to say?  His vocals were right on but I can't get over the 'William Hung' dancing.  If he'd just stand still without bobbing his head back like he has epilepsy I'd be able to watch without laughing or rolling my eyes.  His second choice a Beatles song...c'mon now...that's too safe.  He sang it well but I think he should've chosen a better song.

Katherine......Against All  Odds?? making it her own with all the turns and flips she made?? Give me a break, she totally sucked on that one.  Was all over the place vocally and was off-key most of the song....yikes.  Now the second song I had never heard of before but she did great!!  I liked her on the floor but she shouldn't have moved around...just sitting there would've been fine.  She sang it very well though.

So IMO just on last nite's performances I have the following line up.  With 1 being the best.

1. Chris (not that he's my fav)

2. Elliot

3. Taylor

4. Paris

5. Katherine

Now this is what I think America will chose.

1. Taylor

2. Elliot

3. Chris

4. Katherine

5. Paris

Current mood:  cheerful

And we say goodbye to the Pickler;

It was amazing last nite as they set 3 groups of 2 and Kellie was standing with Paris (which I knew had low votes).  I really didn't think she was the one to be going home though.  I had Paris pegged as the one to be leaving us.

I'm so so so happy I don't have to hear "I'm sawrry" anymore or anything she has to say!!! YIPPEEE

On the greater side of this is that our man CHRIS was in the top two (where he belongs).  The look on Taylor's face when Ryan announced that was a million dollar look.  He was like 'what the hell'?  Taylor was shocked, he thought he and Elliot were the top two since they were seated first.   Sorry Taylor....your not that good!!!

I didn't catch what they will be doing next week.  Not sure if Ryan even mentioned it.  I think he was too excited to get Pickler off the stage!!! lol....I'll find out though..

P.S.  sorry DeeDee :(

Current mood:  giddy

I think this may have been Chris' best performance.  I mean he sang with such sincerity that I about cried.  He picked the right song.  I was weary at first but man, he is there to win for sure!!!  Outstanding performance!!

Well here's my take on the others....

Katherine.....even though she gives off a snobby aura I thought she done an excellent job.  I didn't get what the judges were saying.  She wasn't bad at all....I haven't a clue.  Guess I need to listen to that one again.

Elliot.....he did a terrific job.  Again I didn't get what the judges were saying....he performed it well.  I think he's safe.

Pickler.....YAY..she blew it.(sorry deedee)  She totally screwed that one up.  Why in the world did she think she could possibly pull that off I haven't a clue.  She should've picked a different song.  She may not be safe...maybe bottom 3, I can only pray.

Paris....well as I stated before, she has a terrific singing voice but she chooses to big of songs for her....maybe in bottom 3.

Taylor....I really have never cared for him.  To me he's just an okay performer.  He did an okay job.  Nothing impressionable.

My bottom three based on last nite's performances are;

1. Paris   2. Kellie    3. Taylor

Maybe Paris going home.....

oh, did I say Chris was AWESOME??

Current mood:  mellow

I was so upset with Chris being in the bottom 2 that I forgot to say bye to Ace.

I liked Ace.  I thought he sang pretty well, not the best BUT he does have a terrific personality and good looks.  I wish him luck in his acting/singing career!

He definately is a hottie!!

Current mood:  indescribable

I am an easy going kind of person.  I rarely get mad or get irrational.  Pretty much a down to earth kind of gal but after last nite's elimination show I was estatic.  I would never let a TV show for cryin' out loud get to me but it did and oh I am still pissed off over it.

I voted and voted and voted my heart out.  Had a hard time getting through too.  Chris' performance was a great big step from his normal 'Rock' style and he brought it well.  I was totally surprised on how great he actually sang that song.

A part of me is thinking that AI has something up their sleeves and are trying to bring in more voters and watcher's for better ratings.  I believe they count America's votes but I also believe that the producer also puts in his votes too.  I think it's manipulated to a degree.  'What makes better tv' is what it's mostly about to them folks.

So after venting on Candy's blog (sorry Candy) I have calmed down some and am really focusing on the fact that it is 'rigged' to a degree and I'm feeling a bit more confident on Chris reaching the top 2.  I have already prepared myself for Chris possibly not winning the entire thing but I have not  prepared myself for him not making it to atleast the top 3.

I also want to comment on next week's 'theme'.  Andrea Boccelli is a fabulous artist BUT it's not for AI.  C'mon, what chances do our idols have?  It's almost opera type and none of our contestants have that in them to perform.  I have only heard a few Boccelli's songs and none of them are AI material.  Unless our idols can render the songs to fit them then it's not going to work.  Next week will be a bomb, an utterly mess (as simon says).

All I can say to all Chris fans out there is VOTE VOTE and VOTE again.  Keep your fingers crossed and say a bunch of prayers for Chris and his family that he will succeed and continue to entertain us!!
