'Grapevine Fires', the animated Death Cab for Cutie music video, has been nominated for the 2009 Best Video Woodie Award by mtvU. Voting starts today and ends November 16th, so visit the mtvU Woodie Awards site to watch the video (if you haven't already) and cast your vote for Death Cab for Cutie. The winners of this year's Woodie Awards will be aired on December 4th.

Chris Walla and J. Robbins (of Jawbox and Burning Airlines) went into the NPR Project Song performance studio for a two day project to create a new song inspired by an image from photographer Tom Chambers.
