There have been false reports circulating that Death Cab for Cutie will be performing in Brazil in November of 2010. To clear these rumors and prevent our South American fans from purchasing tickets to shows that are not happening, please note that there are currently no plans for the band to tour in South America in 2010.

Benjamin Gibbard and Jay Farrar have added a show to their One Fast Move tour on January 26th, 2010 at the Boulder Theater in Boulder, CO. Tickets go on sale 12/11 at 10AM local time through the Boulder Theater website. Additional support and ticket information will be available on the Death Cab for Cutie SHOWS page as it's announced.

Death Cab for Cutie's The Open Door EP has been nominated for a 2010 GRAMMY Award, for Best Alternative Music Album. The 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on January 31st, 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA and will air live on CBS from 8–11:30PM (ET/PT).

Live performances of Death Cab for Cutie's Cath... and I Will Possess Your Heart are included on the Bridge School Collection, Volume IV, a collection of live recordings from The Bridge School concerts. Volume IV is available digitally now on the iTunes store. Also appearing on the 22-song collection is My Morning Jacket, Tegan & Sara, Band of Horses, Tom Waits & Kronos Quartet, and more.

Proceeds from the iTunes downloads will be donated to the Bridge School for their programs benefiting advanced augmentative and alternative communication systems, and assistive technology.

Death Cab for Cutie performed for the 2009 Woodie Awards on November 18th at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. The Woodie Awards air on the MTV networks (mtvU, MTV, MTV2, and Palladia) on Friday, December 4th at 10PM ET.
