It's 'The Golden Girl' here - seeking your support and assistance. I trust you are well.

I have entered a UK wide competition called Britain's Next Top Coach - which goes live today.

The competition is about inspiring the nation to greatness, and is an excellent opportunity to promote the benefits of personal development - and being the best we can be.

I need as many high scores and votes as possible to get into the semi-finals in April - and your vote really counts.

I am really excited about being part of this and you can too. To reach as many people as possible I need your assistance with circulating this email to as many people as possible.

For more info. and to vote visit this link

An exert taken from the introduction...

'The quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask yourself'..:Tony Robbins

You have the ability to ask yourself questions that can transform the way you think and feel about yourself and your life. Its what makes us unique as human beings, and is available to us all the time.  A life of quality experiences that are viewed and welcomed as learning and growth opportunities is what this book is about.

As a coach, therapist and trainer I am able to assist people with transforming the way they experience their lives, simply by the questions I ask them and the observations that are drawn from their answers.  This has made me aware of the power of asking questions.   I believe that life is always asking us questions, or at least urging us to question ourselves.  Yet most of the time we are too busy to take notice, or to take time to discover the answers that will improve the quality of our life and the experiences we are having.

There was a time in my life when I had many unanswered questions.  I no longer felt satisfied with the answers provided by my parents, teachers, preachers, friends, the media etc.  I felt there was more to the world, others and myself – and my journey to finding answers and discovering my truth led me to a place where I can now assist others with doing the same.

I have worked on myself first by digging deep into my life and past, in order to fully understand what makes me, me.  I have released a lot of stuff and continue to integrate the parts of me that use to make me feel unbalanced.  Also, I am absolutely committed to my own personal and spiritual development.  Like anyone else I have experienced challenges that provided me with great lessons and opportunities to learn and grow.   I am now fortunate enough to have the tools, strategies, guidance and inner strength to live my life in a different way....

I gave this book the title '10 Quality Questions for a Life of Quality' because I believe that by questioning ourselves we can change how we perceive and experience our lives on a daily basis.  The example above of me having to re-type this book could have been an arduous task and a heavy burden.  Yet I was able to step back from the situation; question what was happening; outline the possibilities and reframe what had happened, so I was able to experience moving forward in a positive way.

One thing I have learnt and will always treasure is this..  When ever you are going through difficult times remember this..

"The exterior circumstances of your physical life need not have

anything to do with the interior experience of your (spiritual) life.

It is not necessary for you to be pain-free in order to be free of suffering.

It is not necessary for there to be a lack of disruption in your life for there to be peace.

Indeed, true Masters experience peace in the face of disruption and conflict, not because they have found a way to avoid it.

This inner peace is what all beings seek,

because it is the essence of what all beings are.

And you will always seek the experience of Who You Really Are.

You may achieve this inner peace in the face of any exterior condition

or circumstance

simply by understanding that you are not your body, and that nothing you see is real."  NDW

In a nutshell - can you be yourself in the face of any adversity?  The adversity in our lives need not disrupt our lives and inner peace to the degree that we become what we are not  i.e. unhappy, depressed, anxious etc.

*Acknowledge the experience or situation rather than ignoring what is happening

*Engage with your emotions rather than repressing them

*Give yourself a period of feeling any negative emotions rather than 'being' negative and take this to be how you really are.

*Consider how you have contributed to how you feel or the situation rather than just blaming external circumstances

*Identify any unhealth habits that you have that have caused the situation or make you feel worse rather than doing what you have always done

*Imagine or visualise a positive outcome or develop an idea of how things could be or will be rather than giving up or giving in.

There are those who see things as they are and say, "Why?" And there are those who dream of things that never were and say, "Why not?"

What do you say?

The purpose of life is to give your life purpose.

The key here is that there is no wrong or right answer.  Life is like a wheel that brings a never ending flow of experiences and challenges that we view as either positive of negative.  Understanding that everything serves a purpose and seeking to understand that purpose in order to learn from it is the key.  In time you will see each and every situation as a blessing in disguise, only if you are able to fully experience and integrate what you have learned.

ITS IS ALL A MATTER OF PERSPECTIVE!

Do not search for life's meaning,

or the meaning of any particular event, occurrence, or circumstance.

Give it its meaning.

Then announce and declare, express and experience, fulfill and become

Who You Choose to Be in relationship to it.

If you are a keen observer, you will notice that you keep bringing yourself the same situation or circumstance

over and over again in your life until you re-create yourself anew.

This is the journey to mastery.

Neale Donald Walsh

One thing that I have learnt over time is that understanding what you need to do isn't enough.  Study and the acquiring of knowledge alone will not provide the changes we wish to see in our life - only experience and consistent practical application starts to make a difference.

I love this...its a statement taken from one of my favourite authors.

------------------------------

Put simply, the way to step outside of the Illusion of Failure is to simply see everything as a part of your success. All things lead to your success, produce your success, are part of the process by which you experience your success.

Many people understand this intuitively. Scientists are among them. When they embark on an important experiment, they not only anticipate failure, they relish it. The pure scientist understands completely that a "failed" experiment has not "failed" at all but merely pointed the way to success.

Something working out "the way you wanted it to" is not the definition of success, and something "not working out the way you wanted it to" is not the definition of failure. Indeed, if you live a long life there will be times when you will claim the opposite to be true.

What you call many failures are actually successive experiences. And how can any experience which you call "successive" be a failure

Yet the Illusion of Failure is necessary in order to experience the exhilaration of success. If you "succeed" at everything, then you will experience succeeding at nothing. You will simply feel that you are doing what you are doing, but you will not know it as success, nor experience the wonder and the glory of Who You Are, because there would be no contextual field within which to notice that.

If you throw a touchdown pass on the first attempt, that may be exhilarating, for sure. Yet if you throw a touchdown pass on every attempt, you would soon lose the excitement of it. It would mean nothing. There would be nothing but touchdown passes, and throwing them would be pointless, meaningless.

All of life moves in cycles. And it is these cycles that give meaning to life.

In fact, there is no such thing as failure. There is only success, manifesting in its many aspects. There is also no such thing as that which is not God. There is only God, manifesting in Its many aspects.

Do you see the parallel? Do you see the model?

This simple seeing changes everything. When this is clear to you, you will be immediately struck with gratitude and wonder. Gratitude for all of the "failures" of your life, and wonder that it took so long to recognize the treasures that you have been given.

You never fail to succeed
