There is something wrong with the reviews this week. I am not so happy with some of the episodes, while I am waiting for some others, and added others.

It must have been one of these days since the weather is screwed up, and so is my vision (partially from what I was trying to see but it was too painful to see).

* New dates for Galactica and a new Show added! Sunday marks the magic of Dresden. Dresden is a detective, much similar to Hellblazer: Constantine (Ellis run) so I figured it would have become my new addiction. Oh and it has what Constantine (the movie) didn't have: Flayed Bodies and doom boxes!

* Galactica continues the saga where it left us back in December. Honestly, I saw both the episodes this week, so it was not a transition to say I missed. Bugging enough now all the community will focus on who the rest of the five cylons are. It gives me great pleasure to reveal to you who will be:

- Scott Bakula (because our friend Dean Stockwell can't live without him)
- Ted McGinley
- Scarlett Johanson (the one that D'anna Saw)
- Me (Yes, I believe I am a cylon)
- Robocop (If they have me, they should have robocop as well)

By no condition, should Gaius be a Cylon. He is the one whos ego tries to overcome the superiority of the human species, but he is also the last person who will achieve that. He should become a cyborg-borg-something once they reach earth. And that's how it will turn back to an 80's show. ( BSG, 3/5 )

* Monday marks the return of Heroes! But before that we meet with little Barney on the now classic How I met your mother -- too bad little Barney was censored, literally by Lilly! He and the former boss of Moseby would have so much fun! ( How I met your mother, 4/5 )

* On to heroes now -- it was a dull week for them. Mostly people lost in transit, jailrooms and enchilada stands. Oh someone did eat a lot, and started blasting energy balls from his hands too! Could the explosion be a result of eating a vat of red hot chilli peppers? I think so. In the background we (don't) see Eccleston. (Heroes 4/5)

* Lost is still Lost. One or two weeks more, people. It's like its been disappeared by David Copperfield. (LOST -/5)

* Veronica Mars. I tried to see the episode. I couldn't. House give me a better jive. So I ditched the episode for a double view next week. (Veronica Mars -/5)

* My Name is Earl features the tragic death of the guy who has been captive to the truck. Well if asphyxia didn't do the trick, the all death defying bed on the wall did. Now let's go to poker night! (My name is Earl, 3/5)

* Smallville. After Justice, I am not going to see any other episodes. Labyrinth is an alternative what if episode, so I ditch that too. (Smallville -/5)

And that's all for today. Come back next week to read more. If you don't I'll bulletin you into oblivion!

I've been into a strange mood lately.

Since the turn of the year, I've been feeling bad about writing, reading comics or doing anything that reminded of my last year self.

Maybe because I am getting older; I think so not. I've been onto a creativity hiatus. Perhaps this is the winter sleep period. My sabbatical.

I saw "the prestige" the other night. It was ok. Nolan's excellent direction made me feel more intimate than "the illusionist" to the world of magic. The touch of Tesla made it also a very Victoriana themed and if you look at wikipedia about him, you'll see that there is a Graphic Novel similar to the League, that features geeky inventors from victoriana.

- Home, 2030 -

ME: Kids, come here and I will tell you a story.
LUKE: Awww again?
LEIA: Dad! I want to go out with Han!
ME: Anyway this is the story of how I wrote reviews back in 2007, when there was still TV and Internet....

- Home, 2007 -
(ME, Narrating): It was a slow week. Christmas have ended and people still had that feeling of something was missing but it was starting to fade. It was the time that tv series were on the Christmas hiatus, and series legendary like LOST, Veronica Mars, Heroes or The Darkwood Chronicles did not play yet. Actually those who defied that rule were....<...>

Of course you viewers know what that mean! It's once more a tv week review, fully fresh and forgotten about the synopses of the 3 months ago that were supposed to be online someday on the Christmas holidays.

- It was the return of Ted. I don't know if Robin's sister is the lucky mother (could be) but her young and skunky look, makes me warm inside. It was a sex talk that everyone should have seen. Yet Barney did some dirty dancing routines with Baby. (How I met your Mother, 4/5)

- Earl was on for two weeks. Curiously enough, It didn't come to my attention. Maybe because of that flu that was going around. So it was a double download. In the first episode after christmas, Earl watches an episode of COPS (you know that idiot tv show that cops tell their story on camera as reality tv) that every person in Camden town was in it. We learn how the one eyed mail man lost his eye. In the second episode, a case of stolen cutlery makes every culprit retell their story and giving me the idea of a "my name is earl"ish opening sequence. Catalina though is nowhere to be seen (2 times in a row). But the fun is definetly in! (My Name is Earl 2x12, 3/5 - My Name is Earl 2x13, 4/5)

- Hydro, another Smallville is still floating around. I haven't seen it yet. Tori spelling plays. But the story is ludicrous. I think I'll pass -- it's good for mental health.

Since most of the things I did last year happened (yeah right) this year I have more:

- Take Photographs with a wide lens
- Fix some of my past mistakes (this might require b@mbing!)
- Meet with more people!
- Take a decent picture for an avatar.
- Write beetter reviews for tv series

Has anyone noticed the "Nothing in this world" videoclip by Paris Hilton?
Yes I know, someone must be crazy to do such things after the media coverage that this wacko has, but there is something weird going on.

The kid that is the fan (and gets all the toilet flush), looks like the Sunglasses of Justice (David Caruso, CSI:Miami).

Watch the videoclip (from youtube):

and then compare with this:

Shocking!!!!! OMFG! (PONIES LALAALALAAL OMG!OMG!)

On a side note, is Elisha Cuthbert the girl that says to dip him more to the toilet in the beginning of the videoclip?

Back in the 80's there was filmed a movie that was called "Oi Pontioi". The film was about 2 immigrant Greeks who have been in Germany and they decided to return to Greece when they learned that the other Greeks were making jokes out of their heritage. The movie was a comedy. The actors' lines are still memorable up to this day.

I saw the "Hebrew Hammer" the day before. Not a very good time to stay at home and this movie is not what the doctor had ordered. The plot is pathetic; the evil son of Santa wants to eradicate the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, so that everyone would celebrate Christmas. The usual Jewish stereotypes were exposed into this movie. And that's where the genius goes South.

Some scenes were nice, but they were all dried up. There was no comedy there. It's a pity that Judy Greer was playing there (even though she looked sexy enough as a Redhead and she is a favorite of mine, I detest her role).

In general, this movie is not for any genre. It's for when you are really drunk and you have to get sober really quick.

H A P P Y | N E W | Y E A R ! ! !

... Ditikos P. Wishes you a happy new year 2007, with less wars, famine and more health!

Speaking of which, I am home alone because I am sick those past two days. It's part of the common flu thing around these days. Anyways, this year marks my 27th on this planet and probably going to be the year I am going to the military for 1 (or so) year.

But before that, we are gonna have a super time, watching tv series (the column is not dead, but I am too bored to write since I see no SF series), movies, reading books (HP will be out in May, I think) and having lots of fun with life.

More to expect. More to come tomorrow!

Merry Christmas everyone!

If you weren't at the 2 day concert of "DITIKOS P. AND THE GROUPIES" you missed everything! The music was fine, even if the weather outside was cold. The drinks were good enough to lift up the atmosphere and everything went juuuust fine!

We'll be making a new gig soon, so you'll be notified by the event bulletin about when our next appearance will be!

What about Christmas? How did you people spend it?

ASSIST Machine Sketch Interpretation

This is a very cool demonstration video of a new machine sketch interpretation technology called ASSIST. You can draw something and the software will know what you are drawing and then simulate it when you "run" the program. Think of the possibities...More info at http://rationale.csail.mit.edu/project_assist.shtml.

December almost finishes, but I still don't feel synched to Christmas much. There is not much time to feel all the glory.

If you walk past the streets of Athens, the center is my usual domain. I like walking to the festive streets, something that makes me both happy but sometimes freaks me because of all the people. I get a little agoraphobic.

If you check my Flickr you'll see some of the pics I took last weekend to the now proclaimed ExpensiveTown in the central square.

I've been gathering information for a japanese interactive novel (such as the likes of Trauma Center and Phoenix Wright: Ace attorney on the DS). I found renpy, so some of my former adventure projects are suited better there. More on that when I'll have a production copy of the thing I want to do, which I'll work on the holidays.

Since this is going to be probably the last post before Christmas, I'd like to wish you all merry Christmas.
