Category: News and Politics
With Nancy Pelosi as a new speaker in the House of Representatives, at least there's a tiiiiny chance of seing some decency in the US politics, though I'm not holding my breath.
With two states still unaccounted for, it looks like there just might be a change in the Senate as well.
Please, let that friggin' clown-in-charge get some resistance!

Not-so happy news, the gay-bashers are doing well, but I don't suppose that is suprising - 7 (I believe) states have voted to ban gay marriage, in addition to the 20 who already did.

In domestic news - 12-hour workday is killing me, we may be moving to Kensington in March, which will be a very pleasant change from our current near-ghetto-with-a-crackhouse-on-the-corner location, and Andy & friends moved to pretty close to where I work, which is good news.
Tonje's visit was uber-awesome, we caught two Diamanda Galas-shows which was big-time catharsis & a kick in the guts in a good kinda way.
Oh yah, and Combichrist & KMFDM were great!
The two KMFDM singers have teamed up with the Curve dude for a new project, can't wait for their release =) Check them out: KGC - they actually played 6 Ft Below at the KMFDM gig; I love this song =)

FABLES is the best comic since Sandman - and Nemi of course ;D

Meh, so many opinions, so little time...

Edit: Doing a jig - Rumsfeld resigns! Send that bloke to the Iraqui front, canonfodder is what he deserves to be, the mass murderer. A thought - I wonder who have killed more Iraquis, Saddam Hussein or Donald Rumsfeld? And who's been responsible for the death of more Americans, Rummie or Al Quaida?

Oh dang... A former CIA head to replace him, oh well, what's to be expected. Well, at least the Butcher is out for now, probably resting comfortably on a gigantous Halliburton retirement plan.

Back to work...

(My boss' Mac is missing a few letters at the moment, so the spelling may look somewhat odd where I forget to cut'n paste the missing letters =P)

Uhm, yeah update - that usually means one should have something fun to tell peeps...
Nothing new here!
Except I might be able to hang around Myspace a bit more, which is the current plan of action >.<
I'm terrible as it is to keep up with what "everone" are doing, and, well... Gotto keep myself more updated! =P

There are a few bands coming this way (san Francico) in the forseeable future and I hope to catch mot of them, mainly Celtic Frost (now with Ander from Magenta on guitar! Yeah!), serena Maneesh, Combichrist, Moonspell and Diamanda Galas.
Mortiis just played, and I effin' couldn't go =(
(I'll insert links when I get home from work, this computer is driving me crazy!)

Lately I've added "making silver jewelry" to the list of stuff I can do and maybe will become good at if I do it a lot more. (.....)

Lots of people I know back in N'way have had kids, gotten pregnant, are getting married or divorced.
which is to be epected, I know, but it's still weird.

It looked like Vilde was coming over for a while, now it seems she' not, but maybe Tonje is popping over instead!
which of course would be absolutely awesome - fab gal, and I need my dose of good people =)

Now I'm going to paste in a many missing s's, w's and x's as I can find, then maybe burn the computer.

Peace & love.

The maker of the player I've been using for the flashplayer skins, Jeroen Wijering, has made a new player, and this one allows you to set the player's size and colors yourself, with an additional "configure" xml file you upload with the player.
You can even link to a jpg image to use as background, as well as include links with each song on the playlist.

It's been reported that the player doesn't show up in Internet Exploder, I honestly don't know what that's all about, as I see absolutely no reason whatsoever to use that browser
Edit: That was a case of insufficient codes. It's all good, also in IE.

Anywhoo - with a little fidgeting I think anyone can get this player working, the zipped file comes with a Readme-file full of explanations, and there's always Jeroen's own forum to ask questions in.

I also assume both Pyro and Freddy will post some instructions on how to use this player...

Well, I've been playing around with those flashplayers again, and made some new slim players - these do not have a playlist, mind you, but they'll take up less space...
These are remakes of the "Jeroen Player", so the same instructions applies on how to use them; just change the size in the embed-code accordingly.
I've got more colors more or less ready to go - some animated, some not, but for now:

Metallic Tubeplayer (New size: width="400" height="50")

Ruby Animated Tubeplayer (New size: width="400" height="50")

Metallic Pill (New size: width="180" height="50")

Right-click images to save to your computer.

Well, some aren't entirely new-new, but I haven't gotten around to post them (here) yet...
All are "Jeroen Players", and make sure to change the size in your embed code if required!

To use, rightclick the image and choose "Save link (or target) As..."
Most of these are made on requests from these groups:
Private Pyros MP3 Players
Help With Musicplayers
- and both groups have excellent instructions on how to use the players.
(The "Jeroen Player Instructions" threads applies to all these players.)

Enjoy :)

Bubble-players; they "fold down" to a clear bubble, and the playlist backgrounds are partially translucent.
Some has animated parts, ie flames.
New size: width="300" height="470"

Small players, new size: width="150" height="250"
(The Matrix-looking has animated playlist-background.)

Regular size players:

January 11th I posted this message:
I'm sorry to say I won't be doing any flashplayer requests is a little while, I've got too much stuff going on right now!
(I'll try to get done those I've already taken on though :) )

Well, Vilde has gone back to Norway, and Jeanette leaves on Wednesday,  so I'm sad to say - there will be time for flashplayers in my life once more

A few things though...
Any request (unless you are a personal or MySpace friend) should go through either of these groups:
Private Pyro's MP3 Players
Jeroen & XSPF Player Help/Requests

Same goes for help getting your player to work - I believe any issue imaginable has been covered in their various topics.
Whatever you do, read the rules and post your question in the correct thread, or they WILL ban you!

And...
Even though I have fun skinning these players, I do have a life, and especially those Bubble-players take quite some time to get right.
So, I've decided to be a bit selfish, and only make skins for the Bubbles with images I like and think will look good.
No sports or car images, for instance, will pass. Neither will most band-related stuff.
If you really *really* want something done, you may pay $10 (use the PayPal-button below) to have it made. Message me first though, to make sure I have time to make it!

And of course, if you're using one of my skins and would like to make a donation, you are very welcome. I pay for webspace to host "my" players, to ensure they'll be available, and additional funds are always great

I think that's all for now, I hope you'll enjoy the players - and I'd love a message if you use one; always fun to see how they work with other people's layout.

PS -
All the players are "Jeroen Players", unless something else is stated.
Make sure to change the size in the embed-code for anything but the "straight" versions!

PS II -
If I'm doing a request for you, paid or free, I need you to give me the image/link to the image you want me to use.
If it's for a Bubbleplayer, it MUST be round/circular, or at least possible to crop to a circle without messing it up.
I downright refuse to make ugly (by my standards!) players...

Current mood:  busy
Category: Music
The Dragonplayer's playlist has an animated flame.

Change embed-code to width="300" height="470" - or more, if you want to pull it around. (By using the left "dot".)
These ones are pretty much the same as the Fairy-bubble-player; folds down to a clear bubble, and the playlists are partially translucent.

Current mood:  blah
To download - rightclick & save link/target...

Batplayer:

Guinevere - change embed-code to width="330" height="360"

Munsters (currently on my page) - change the embed-code to width="330" height="370"

Final Fantasy - change embed-code to width="300" height="370"
(Made on request)

And finally, I'm working on a "bubble" thing.  It "folds down" to a clear bubble...

First "bubbleplayer" - I'm still tweaking the graphics a bit on this one, so if you like it, you might want to check back.
Edited: The buttons are a bit lighter, and the playlist a bit easier to see now.

If you use it, please change embed-code to width="300" height="450"
(Made on request)

See it "in action" here.
To use, right-click the image and save to your computer.

Oh well, send me a message for a request - if not on my "friends" list, requests should go to Private Pyro's mp3s.

PP's mp3s - MySpace group with more skins, & instructions

The original player, with downloads, instructions & useful links

Gothic Contact Tables - MySpace group with, well, gothic contact tables etc - but also gothic-type player-skins

All players will be published to my blog, as well as Pyro's group, unless otherwise agreed.
