well i told everyone that i would set everything straight. I went to my doc 2 days ago and he tells me the the cat scan doesnt show anything. but the pet scan did. but its enugh to have more surgery and NO CHEMO OR RADIATION!!! thank god!!! A special shout out to all my people that showed there love. you have no idea how much that means to me. youll helped me through this too. im not going to lie. ya boy was kinda scared about the whole thing. but i prayed and asked for the strength to handle all this. it worked, i thank you!

i had surgery a week ago and it came out good. i go to my follow up today and find out the tissue they cut from me was cancerous. they got most of it out. but i will have to have radiation to make sure its all out. so im in the air with it just as much as youll will be. im feeling better and am in good spirits. Ive been through bullshit before. and got through it time and time again. so once i know. you will know too. to make thngs worst, i have a show to do tonight!!

I fell stuck sometimes. n this city, this great city that i live in. Columbus is the place where i call home. Home is where the heart is but i dont thing mines is with it anymore. I remember when i was younger and my whole life was ahead of me. I would ride the bust from school with my walkman (the first ipod). blasting something ATCQ or Ultramagnetic mc's. I had pride in my city. it was thrieving with talent. it had a vibe about it. Being young you dont realize how things that you once loved will change. the key is to being ready for that change. Well...i wasnt. The places that i used to kick it at on OSU campus are all GONE. Flyers is the main spot but, the whole strip was just crazy! I loved it. It was DIRTY. The building where old with ALOT of character to them. the stores that we would go to. the Bodega on the corner of Chittended and High st. Id go get my hair cut at Colors barber shop when it was on 11th and High. The Silver Ball arcade was the spot where i was the kid with crowds around me kicking everyones ass in Mortal Kombat, and doing the finishing moves on em. I used to sell my mixtapes at Signing dog record store. Now since they went corp. They dont hold your stuff if your local. WTF. that was my best selling spot in the city GONE but still operating. the whole strip is GONE. now its got the fucking flashing lights and the movies theater and 3 level Gap. it has night clubs but they are prissy as fuck! I cant stand it.
lets not start about the Groove Shack which was in the heart of the short north (RIGHT BEHIND MY HOUSE) < God sent forreals. this is and will always be the pinnical of what hip hop was in the city. I learnd alot from being there. my whole style comes for that era. I hold the torch proudly! But... it folded premature in my opinion.  Now the building is for sale or rent , i cant remember.  the same graff is still up in the front. it reads "HIP HOP HOME BASE". I wish i could bring it back to life. Because this city needs it real bad. the purity is gone. there are some cats still doing real music but cant keep it up because its not the cities standard. this city likes whatever any MAJOR city likes. I CANT STAND IT! but... i understand. why would you like "Backpack" music if you dont understand it. First thought is to write it off. the same thing goes for "Thug" music. if you dont get it, you dont get it. Im so caught in the middle it isnt funny. I want to spin the dope shit but there is no money really in it. I dont mind spinning the radio stuff, but i would be saling myself AND the listener short. Im on some "try some you might like it" with this music. Mixing it up is perfect to me. playing the best of both worlds. "Backpack Thuggin". Making the thuged out song more musical and the backpack more noticable.
My generation of music was about upliftment and knowledge of self with DOPE beats behind it. It isnt like that today. people dont want to be uplifted, they like things the way it is. dont fuck with it. i dont want to think to hard about it type stuff. THIS SUCKS!
I need inpiration. Very few things accomplish this. in this city. where as i can turn on itunes radio and hear DOPE shit all day!! the level of stuff i listen to...very few of it is getting pumped in columbus. Individuals dig it but the masses doesnt. If you are a individual? Lets make something happen in this city. Im tired of battling alot of you for some #1 spot. because THERE IS NONE.
I need to move out of here because its making me have to dumb down. i need to be around cats that are better than me!! I need to remember why i started doing this shit! what made me say thats what i want to do. Im getting older but at the same time im getting better but with a glass cieling effect to it.
Im finding out more and more about how this city's scene is into doing coke. and if you aint down you aint DOWN. Me never have never will. Its just not for me. my nose is already fucked up by getting hit by a car at the age of 8 (right in front of the future sight of the Groove Shack) WOW. I cant risk it. green on the other hand...we can talk about it LOL. Everyone has a crutch. i dont hold it against you if you do it. im not the type to judge people. But dont hold it against me if i dont do it.. I care about alot of  you and dont want to see anymore die in the columbus scene. Its too much to handle.

People love to talk. people love to hear words. see word. Songs arent songs without words.
this one thing kinda seperates myself from the masses. Dont get me wrong, i love songs with lyrics in them but my focus has always been on the beat the lryics need to ride on. Honestly sometimes...well alot of time i just block out the words to songs. It dosent do much for me (words). but the sound of the voice and the melodies that blend with the beats send chills up my spine. You could be singing in any foreign langauge. I dont car what it is your saying so much. Its how your saying it.
I get into modes where i play nothing but instruments and forget to play the volcals. i get yelled at for it but its just one of those thangs i guess lol.
The science behind the music excites me (pause). How they did it. the tricks of the trade. everyone has some method to they're madness. Doing whatever it takes to get the sound they want. The flow of the music is a big turn on. I kinda connect that with the flow of life.
blending 2 beats together, playing one song to the next should flow, kinda smooth ya know. thats how i see life. smooth flow with its ups and downs of course.
depends on how you started your flow.. If your blend crashes like a train wrecks, things are going to be bad. lol
