Because I am a natural born woman, I have been asked on more occasions than I can count, "why" do I care about transgender issues and "why" do I have so many friends in the online trans community, since I myself am not trans? I was born female, so "why" am I here online representing and supporting transgender women? My reasons are a combination of personal, social and spiritual. I'd like to write a little more about each of these areas, then expand in future blogs based on your interests.
Personal Reasons…
On a personal level, I am bisexual femme top, so none other suits me as well as a bi-gendered male-to-female (M2F) transwoman. No other type of potential love partner is more attractive to me, particularly those who are comfortable with both sides of their gender.
For a male crossdressing en femme, it is often erotic, sensual and sexual, yet it goes even deeper because dressing allows his inner feminine to emerge from the heart of a man, invoking a feeling of relief and joy as she is able to breathe through her true self. To observe, participate, facilitate this emotional healing is blissful to me, satisfying and fulfilling beyond measure.
All my romantic/sexual inclinations are for M2F trans of all degrees from crossdresser, femboi, transvestite, bi-gendered, transgendered, transsexual – all males who respectfully cross the gender line are so beautiful in my eyes. Someone who can switch between male and female, or who embodies both at one time, is the ideal match for a bisexual woman like me. This intense attraction is the magnet that keeps me transfixed, despite that I myself am not trans, the love of my life certainly will be.
Social Reasons…
On a social level, it is from a strong feminist perspective that I support transwomen. I am someone who believes that feminine is of equal value to masculine, and it is healthy and normal for females to be masculine, or males to be feminine. Because I am a feminist, I admire the ideals of femininity, so it makes perfect sense to me that many humans aspire to the feminine, no matter whether they are anatomically female or male.
Society has a deep-seated underlying disregard for the feminine, which is why women and transwomen are not treated as equals to men. The gender imbalance is a social problem which has existed for millenniums. All feminine people, genetic women and transwomen, are on the same side of the movement toward true gender equality.
As a feminist, I love and revere the feminine, so I hold in most special regard those born male who have the strength to be feminine in this harsh and cruel world. Males who possess such an inner goddess essence that they choose to cross the gender divide and become one of us, are the ultimate feminists in my book. I urge all women, all feminists, to recognize and embrace transgender women as our true sisters.
Spiritual Reasons…
From a spiritual perspective, I believe the human soul is genderless. I believe our Higher Power is genderless. It is only in physical earthly form that we are bound to vessels which are gendered. In our angelic forms, we have the knowledge, wisdom and understanding of both feminine and masculine, in perfect balance and harmony.
I believe it is evolutionary for humans to transcend societal bondage of stereotypical polarities, in particular the illusion of binary gender. As we evolve as human beings, we get closer to our angelic forms, we find a growing inner knowing of both masculinity and femininity. People who cross the human-made gender construct are only following a natural course of soul evolution.
We as human beings are not meant to be caged by the artificial duality we have created for ourselves. The time has come to transcend the illusion and ascend into our most beautiful selves.
What Do You Think?
So you see, I have a number of reasons for loving transwomen. I could write so much more if you are interested. I would like to hear from you. Along which of these lines – personal, social or spiritual - should I expand? Has anything I've said inspired you, and how? Do you have comments, questions or requests?

I am a dominant male spirit residing very comfortably in a petite genetic female body. I have always been bisexual, yet now my passion for transwomen far exceeds what I feel for ordinary men or women.
Male-to-Female transwomen possess a certain magical quality that touches me in a way that is difficult to describe in words. It has to do with the fact that they embody both sides of the gender spectrum, both yin and yang. She could be my best girlfriend and my husband at the same time. I can take her out dancing on Saturday night, and then take him to visit my grandparents on Sunday afternoon. I find this a brilliant juxtaposition which I am incredibly drawn to on so many levels.
A transwoman is the ultimate turn-on for me because she embodies the best of both worlds. We can each be the giver and the receiver, in turn. The spectrum of possibilities is so much greater than with a man or a woman. As a bisexual woman, I have always wished I did not have to make a choice between men or women. I have always felt pulled in opposing directions, stuck in the middle.
Now that I have experienced even a small taste of this magical transgender combination, everything has changed for me. What I feel as a bisexual woman with a transwoman is a sense of balance, wholeness, understanding, peace. The spectrum of the gender rainbow is complete, the void in my heart is gone. I no longer have to make the impossible choice between men and women. My conflict is resolved. Now that I know such an option exists for someone like me, I could never go back to regular men or women.
I am finally home.

 Woman or man, each human being is whole. We are all a compendium of many different forms of energy that interact to create a balanced person. To be human, therefore, is to be both gender specific (man or woman) and gender complemented (masculine and feminine). It may sound strange to say that in every person there exists both female and male aspects, but these aspects are tightly interwoven within each of us and learning to access these aspects can help you understand parts of yourself that were previously hidden by a lack of knowledge. Denying this unique polarity can lead to feelings of frustration and confusion, while embracing your gender opposite can bring about a sense of harmony and peace within your soul, a completeness. It may seem natural to say that in women, the female aspect is dominant, and in men, the male aspect is dominant, but this isn't always the case, nor is it healthy to attempt to conform to such standards when they don't correspond to who you are. The innate gender aspects will be expressed in many different ways throughout your life. A man may be receptive, nurturing, and empathic in one instance, and analytical and heroic in another. Likewise, a woman may be protective, assertive, and directive, as often as she is intuitive, creative, and mysterious. The male has his female side, just as the female has her male side, and either may be prevalent. Encouraging those aspects to work together through meditation or visualization is one way to honor both the masculine and feminine side of you. You may want to inwardly request that your aspects converse to determine if they are working as mature and bonded partners, or, because of emotional trauma, are working against each other. Though the differences between the male and female aspects create a dynamic tension, it is possible for one aspect to entirely (and unhealthily) overshadow the other. Some people believe that the soul will be housed in bodies of both sexes during their many incarnations. Part of who we are is based on the interaction between the feminine and masculine aspects, akin to the interplay between the forces of yin and yang. Though, at different times, each of us may feel truly masculine or truly feminine, a well-rounded personality derives from the blending of both qualities. From www.dailyom.com

A dear transgender friend confided in me about steps she is taking to become more feminine in appearance, including a planned first visit to the doctor to inquire about hormone therapy. She asked my opinion whether it's ok to be on female hormones without knowing for sure whether to live full time as a woman. Here's what I told her, plus a bit more...
While no one but you can say what's right for you, I think being true to yourself is step 1. Not everyone else will agree with your decisions, yet you are the only person who must live within your skin, so you are the only person who can decide what makes you happy. Don't let anyone tell you this is selfish, because it's not. Once you are happy within yourself, you will overflow with positive energy which benefits everyone else around you. As the happiest person you can be, you will bring forth joy and harmony to others. My opinion is that gender is not binary, not just male OR female. The rainbow in-between the two gender polarities is a beautiful space. Some people are truly and happily male AND female, ie: bi-gendered, ambi-gendered, gender gifted, transgenderist. I do not believe it is manditory to choose one gender or the other. Hence, my opinion is that changing aspects of yourself to be more feminine, while still keeping your male identity in-tact, is perfectly ok. Some people enjoy walking the gender line, openly exhibiting the "best of both worlds". What a blessing, to enjoy the benefits of experiencing both genders.
I don't feel that you must be moving in any direction, transitioning "to" one gender or "away from" the other. I think it's ok to just BE who you are, living in this moment, without needing to plan in advance exactly who you will be in 2 years from now. If permanent full time woman is right for you, great! If you prefer to embody a combination of both genders, great! If you want to remain just as you are, and change nothing, great! The only person who has to live happily in your skin darling, is you.
All this being said, unfortunately this is only my opinion, and I'm not a doctor. As it stands, the medical community still views gender from a binary perspective. According to Harry Benjamin Standards of Care, which is widely followed as the medical protocal for treating trans people, there are several criteria for a genetic male to be "permitted" to receive medical assistance to become more feminine in appearance. I am afraid if you tell the doctors you are unsure whether you want to live full time as a woman, they may not prescribe hormones to you or facilitate a "partial" transition. It might be necessary to affirm to the doctor an intense desire to become female in appearance and live full time as a woman. Chances are you will have to conform to the rest of their "diagnostic criteria" if you want them to help you. If you show any indecision, they will probably not prescribe hormones as you are hoping. I wish things were different, but for now psychology still views trans from a fairly limited perspective.So even though you may have to ascribe to the criteria in order to be treated fairly, please know in your heart of hearts: you are not disordered, you do not need to be fixed, you are not broken. You are a beautiful soul with an expanded gender awareness. Like most gifted people, you are misunderstood. Yet misunderstanding transforms into understanding as we move forth in evolution of humanity. The more transgender people who shine their lights, the brighter the spark of understanding that will come... and believe me, it is already happening.One day not so long from now, people will look back on today in amazement at the way present society judges and discriminates based upon superficialities like skin color or genital form. The best you can do is just BE your most beautiful self, whatever that means to you. Let no one stand in judgement of you for shining your truest light.Love & blessings, MicheleAngelique

In the past year I've been on myspace, there one thing I've heard hundreds of times from hetrosexual guys:
"I'm attracted to tgirls but I'm not gay! I don't really know what to think of this."
Guys, you can relax now! Being attracted to tgirls (transwomen) does not mean you are gay! In fact, it only affirms you are straight. The people who are most attracted to femininity are heterosexual men and lesbian women. The people who are attracted to masculinity are heterosexual women and gay men. Bisexual people are attracted to both masculinity and femininity.
Gay men are attracted to males, whereas many tgirls are more feminine than even regular women, so gay men are not attracted to them. Whereas straight guys who are attracted to the femininity of regular women would also naturally be attracted to the femininity of transwomen.
There is a rapidly growing number of heterosexual guys who are realizing their attraction for tgirls, yet so many are afraid to admit this because they think it means they are gay. Being attracted to transwomen will not lead to attraction for men because tgirls are *not* like men! Rather, they *are* very much like women on the inside, and often look so feminine on the outside too. So it's natural for straight guys to be attracted to them, and still be totally straight.
One real bonus of straight guys who are attracted to tgirls and secure enough about themselves not to worry what others think, is that only straight guys really know how to treat a woman *like a lady*... gay men don't have much concept of this, and lesbians tend to shun the concept of femininity. Straight men are the best at fully expressing appreciation for the beauty of a woman. Most tgirls want nothing more than to be treated like a lady, so it's a real bonus when a true gentleman recognizes her as such.

Unity in Diversity - Stopping Heterosexism and Homophobia
I would like to share the following anti-discrimination policy developed and practiced at McGill University in Montreal Canada. Here is an example of the social progress that is being made within Canada in regard to gender identity and sexual orientation. The inclusionary approach and positive reinforcement of diversity taken at McGill University should serve as an example for educational institutes and policy makers worldwide. Equally interesting is the definition of the terms "heterosexism" and "heterosexual privaledge", which describe the common perception of society in assuming what is "normal". Also to be appreciated is the section which describes how to deal with heterosexism and homophobia. With new paradigms being developed within the educational system, it is only a matter of time before society at large gains a greater understanding and acceptance of human diversity. The following is exerpted from: http://www.mcgill.ca/queerequity/heterosexism/~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Recognizing heterosexism and homophobia:Creating an anti-heterosexist, homophobia-free campus Understanding sexuality
University campuses are a reflection of the wider society. Indeed, part of a university's strength is the diversity of all its members. Like other forms of discrimination and harassment, homophobia and heterosexism weaken diversity. Bias and hatred have no place at McGill University. In order to increase awareness of homophobia and heterosexism, it is useful to two of the components of sexuality: gender identity and sexual orientation. Gender identity: A person's self-concept of one's gender that may be the same as or different from one's sex at birth (male, female, or inter-sexed*). Thus, adopting the female gender means becoming socially and culturally female, even if one is biologically male or inter-sexed. A person may also define one's gender identity as being more fluid than either male or female. In other words, one's gender identity may encompass parts of masculinity, femininity and other non-traditional gender expressions. Sexual orientation: One's sexual, affectional and romantic interests to members of the same gender (homosexual), other gender (heterosexual), or both/all genders (bisexual). Some people experience their sexual orientation as an unchanging, lifelong part of their nature, and others experience it in a more fluid way that changes over time or across situations. Whether sexually active or not, everyone has a sexual orientation. What is homophobia?
Homophobia involves harassing, prejudicial treatment of, or negative attitudes about lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, trans-identified, transgendered, inter-sexed and/or two-spirited (LGBQTT) persons and those perceived to be of these sexual orientations or gender identities. Discrimination and harassment on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity are not acceptable at McGill. Homophobia includes a range of feelings and behaviours from discomfort and fear to disgust, hatred, and violence. It manifests itself in four different ways. Personal homophobia (or internalized homophobia) consists of personal beliefs and prejudices. Interpersonal homophobia (harassment and individual discrimination) involves individual behaviours based on those personal beliefs. Institutional homophobia includes the ways that governments, organizations, some religions, businesses, and other institutions discriminate against people on the basis of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Lastly, cultural homophobia (heterosexism) refers to societal values and "norms" that privilege heterosexuality over all other forms of gender _expression and sexual orientation. Homophobic behaviours include:
- "Gay-bashing" or physical violence, including sexual violence
- Making derogatory comments, innuendos, insults, slurs, jokes, or threats about sexual orientation or sexual practice
- Silencing talk of sexual or gender diversity
- Forcing people to "come out" or to "stay in the closet" (disclose or hide their sexual orientation)
- Linking homosexuality with pedophilia (child abuse)
- Accusing LGBQTT persons of "recruiting" others to join their sexual orientation
- Defacing notices, posters, or property with homophobic graffiti
- Rejecting friends or family members because of their sexual orientation or gender identity
- Behaving as though sexual orientation is solely about sexual practice or is a "lifestyle choice"
- Treating the sexual orientations or gender identities of LGBQTT persons as less than valid than those of heterosexuals
- Behaving as though all LGBQTT persons have AIDS or are responsible for the spread of it
What is heterosexism?Heterosexism is based on societal values that dictate that everyone is, or should be, heterosexual. Intentionally or unintentionally, our society privileges heterosexuality and heterosexual persons, and devalues, mistreats, or discriminates against lesbian, gay, bisexual, two-spirited, queer, and/or transgendered persons and those perceived to be so. Recognizing heterosexual privilegeHeterosexual privilege bestows unearned and unchallenged advantages and rewards on heterosexuals solely as a result of their sexual orientation. These benefits are not automatically granted to LGBQTT persons. Heterosexual privilege includes the right to:
- Show affection in public safely and comfortably, without fear of harassment or violence
- Openly talk about one's partner and relationships to others without considering the consequences
- Benefit from societal "normalcy": the assumption that heterosexual individuals and relationships are valid, healthy, and non-deviant
- Assume that all people and relationships are heterosexual, unless otherwise known
- Not face rejection from one's family and friends because of one's sexual orientation or gender identity
- Easily access positive role models and media images for one's gender identity and sexual orientation
- Not be asked to speak on behalf of all heterosexuals
- Use gender specific pronouns when referring to one's spouse or partner without discomfort or fear of reprisal
- Have automatic recognition of one's spouse as next-of-kin in emergencies
- Easily select reading or viewing materials in which heterosexuality is the predominantly reflected orientation
- Have families similar to one's own represented in children's literature
- Raise children without fear that they will be rejected or harassed by peers because of their parents' sexual orientation or gender identities
- Receive support and validation from a religious community
- Not risk being denied employment, housing, or other services because of one's sexual orientation or gender identity
- Not be seen as needing therapy to "cure" one's sexual orientation or gender _expression
- Marry
What is anti-heterosexism?Anti-heterosexism involves recognizing and questioning the power and privileges society confers on heterosexual people because of their sexual orientation. It involves respecting and fostering the inclusivity and diversity of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. Anti-heterosexism challenges the assumptions that disadvantage LGBQTT persons because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. What can I do about homophobia and heterosexism?
Whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, two-spirited, queer, transgendered, trans-identified or heterosexual, we all share the responsibility to end homophobia and heterosexism. Here are some tips:
- BE NON-JUDGMENTAL. Being LGBQTT is not something to be ashamed of or judgmental about. Homophobia, not sexual orientation or gender identity, is the problem.
- USE GENDER INCLUSIVE AND NON-HETEROSEXIST LANGUAGE. Do not assume that you know someone's sexual orientation and/or the gender of one's romantic/sexual interests. Use inclusive language even if you know someone is heterosexual. Help educate and encourage others to use inclusive language, as well.
- ASSUME THAT ANYONE COULD BE LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, QUEER, TWO-SPIRITED, TRANSGENDERED OR HETEROSEXUAL. Don't assume that everyone is heterosexual "unless you know otherwise" or that everyone should be heterosexual. Similarly, don't assume that someone is LGBQTT based on stereotypes or assumptions about one's friends.
- DON'T TEASE OR HARASS OTHERS for exhibiting behaviours that are not traditionally associated with their gender (or what you perceive their gender to be).
- DON'T "OUT" PEOPLE. Do not force anyone to disclose one's sexual orientation. Also, if you know that someone is LGBQTT or is questioning one's sexual orientation, don't assume that you may tell anyone else. Be sensitive to the fact that some people are "out" in some areas of their lives, but not in others.
- DON'T THINK OF LGBQTT PERSONS SOLELY IN TERMS OF THEIR SEXUAL ORIENTATION. Just as the lives of heterosexual people include far more than their attraction to members of the opposite sex, LGBQTT persons also have friends, skills and multifaceted interests unrelated to their sexual orientation. Don't define anyone by one's sexual orientation.
- DON'T ENGAGE IN HOMOPHOBIC JOKES, COMMENTS, SLURS OR OTHER BEHAVIOURS. Speak up against these when you witness them. If you don't, your silence condones and encourages such behaviours.
- EDUCATE YOURSELF. If there are things you don't know or understand about LGBQTT issues, do some research, ask questions or contact a group that deals with these issues.
- TALK ABOUT SEXUAL DIVERSITY. Maintain an inclusive group, classroom, living or workspace by talking openly and respectfully about LGBQTT issues when they come up. Treat these issues as you would any other issue.
- REMEMBER THAT AN INDIVIDUAL'S SEXUAL ORIENTATION INVOLVES MORE THAN SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR. It includes attraction, companionship, intimacy and emotional attachments as well as sexual activity.
- DO NOT FORCE PEOPLE TO HIDE their sexual orientation or gender identity.
- DON'T ASSUME THAT LGBQTT PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING or have regrets about their sexual orientation and want to be heterosexual. Likewise, if someone who is LGBQTT is having problems, don't assume that sexual orientation is the cause.
- RECOGNIZE INTERSECTIONS AND SIMILARITIES OF PREJUDICE. Heterosexism and other forms of oppression and discrimination have similarities and areas of overlap. For example, a black lesbian may experience homophobia, racism and sexism. An East Asian man may be disadvantaged by racism in ways that are similar to the ways a gay man is disadvantaged by homophobia and heterosexism.
- ENGAGE IN INCLUSIVE PRACTICES. Create work, study and living environments in which gender and sexual diversity are included, modeled and valued.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OH CANADA!!!
Lots of love, Michele Angelique
The following is a profound message I'd like to share, but which I did not write. A dear friend Etereys posted it, originally contributed by Lightworker, written by Christopher Moors. This puts simple words to a state of grace to which we can all awaken.
Qualities of an Awakened Soul
In general, being near an awakened soul puts you at ease... You will feel more like yourself and relax in a way that is profound. It will be invigorating, and there might well be frequent bursts of laughter. There will most certainly be empathy.
You will be treated with honor because an awakened soul honors the life within every creature every moment. Aware of their place on planet Earth, they never forget that their home is in the stars. Getting past the first stage of perception revolving around the 5 senses and the body, they have reconnected with their more subtle inner energies.
In time, most can do this if they are open and sincere in their search.
They have a quality of timelessness. You will not be sure if they are 30, 300, or 3000 years old, because they speak in terms of the ultimate. While others sleep or go through their daily routines, the awakened soul is considering how to contribute to the growth of humanity and how to make it easier for other souls who are approaching the threshold of realization.
There are a percentage of the people which resonate with the message of transcendence. It is the truth that life goes on beyond the body and mind. It is a realization that the seeker must be ready for and accept willingly. It is an initiation into a whole new paradigm.
An awakened soul rarely plays roles. They do not change who they are to accommodate circumstance. Uniqueness and originality is their very being and they have learned to stand behind it. Their actions exhibit grace and there will be poetry in their motion.
These souls bring intelligence and artistry to everything they do. They might compose music, paint pictures, tell stories, or do anything creative to express Love in the world of forms. Planting seeds all over, they make the subconscious a greener place. They know they are made of energy and light.
While living in the 3D world, they also live in the 4th and many make it to the 5th Dimension. Here you can freely communicate telepathically with the Sun and Angels. Reclaiming past lives and frozen soul trauma, the aspirant gives birth to themselves anew.
This is a major spiritual milestone.
After experiencing all of this information and then letting it go, the imprint of the truth it has for you now will be left and you will have rejoined the deeper meaning of your life path. You can now consciously live in truth and it is up to you what happens as you proceed. After all, you are the creator.
~Christopher Moors
The following was inspired by conversations with a dear friend who has been crossdressing since his early teens, and presently continues to struggle with guilt, shame, repression, denial... I hope to give this person and any of you who feel similarly, a more accepting way to relate to your inner woman. You are so beautiful, if only you could see what I see in you....
****
Dear one, for the past couple of years I have been delving into the psychology of what you are feeling. I have been connecting with special souls who endure the same inner bondage that you know all too well. I have a deep level of empathy for your plight, and from my vantage point, my wish is to convey to you a sense of peace surrounding who you are inside. If you will permit, I will show you a different perspective on this aspect which you have fought so hard against all of your life.
You tell me you wish these feelings were not part of you, and essentially if you could make your inner woman and her desires cease to exist, life would be much easier. This is all very true, yet I suspect that you have spent the last 30+ years wishing she would leave you in peace, trying to stifle her, ignore and deny her, shove her away in a box, yet never managing to quite rid yourself of her presence. I suspect that if it were possible to eradicate her, you would have done so long ago. So let's assume for a moment that she is an integral part of you, one which can not be permanently evicted under any circumstance.
With this in mind, you have two choices… to embrace her, or resist her. In either event she will continue to exist within you, the main difference is how she will make you feel inside and the consequent impact on all other areas of your life. Recognize and embrace her and she has the capacity to bring you inner peace and expanded awareness. Deny and resist her and she will bring the demons of guilt and shame to haunt you.
You can spend the rest of your life trying to crush this aspect of you, or you can reach inside and harness her feminine power in ways that lift you to new heights of awareness and understanding. You can perceive her as a negative element of yourself which is dirty, wrong and shameful… or you can recognize her precious value to your authentic self. Only you have the power to shift your perception of yourself. She can be your greatest gift or your worst curse, depending on how you treat her.
While it is not essential to come out and reveal your truth to anyone unless you choose, it is poison when you lie to yourself, deny yourself, hide in the shadows of your own mind, closed off from your inner light. In such a state of internal misalignment, you slowly whither and die inside, or you spontaneously combust, whichever comes first.
Taming the inner shrew can be a life-long civil war causing endless turmoil, or it can be a harmonious union between your inner male and female working together to function as a more complete human. Once you have acknowledged and accepted this aspect of yourself, you will quickly begin to feel a greater sense of control over your own life and desires.
I urge you to be the first to have compassion for yourself, and embrace your inner woman as a legitimate, valuable and worthy part of you. This does not mean she must become a predominant part of your life, or that radical changes are required, that you should transition, or that she should even necessarily show up on your surface. These are personal choices and each person is different. Rather I am saying that you will feel instant relief the moment you stop fighting and shaming her, and instead begin to celebrate and love her. You are actually very blessed to have her, whether or not you believe so right now.
You are being given the opportunity to foster the self-worth to be True; your reward is transcendence of the shame, guilt, and self-loathing you have felt, into a new light of inner peace, self-acceptance and tranquility. The choice is yours exclusively, only your heart can guide you to what feels right for you.
Feeling good is your birthright, and no one can take that from you, in the name of love or otherwise. If you are not happy, you are not empowered to be the best you can be, not living a fulfilled existence, nor able to serve at your highest capacity. An unhappy person is less equipped to overflow with love, less apt to bring joy to others, less likely to excel in other areas of life. This is why your #1 priority in life is to feel good, to love yourself first, so you can fill your heart to the point where your love overflows to the benefit of everyone around you.
Only you can choose your thoughts, your responses, actions and ultimately, your feelings about any given circumstance. No one else can think for you, feel for you, sense for you. While you cannot control all that is brought into your life, you solely control how you choose to feel and react. Amidst a plethora of conflicting options and objectives, the main guiding force should be how you feel inside… follow your bliss, reach for joy, direct your energy to what feels good to your heart, always.
The more aligned you are with your true inner source, the more connected you feel with the abundant stream of well being that life has to offer. The farther away you have drifted from your authentic self, the less tapped-in you feel, the more vacant, void, disconnected. How you feel is a perfect indicator of whether or not any given path is leading in a direction that will please you when you get there. Pay attention to your emotional guidance, it is the eternal voice of wisdom within you.
Whatever makes you feel good, gives you a warm sense of comfort, brings you inner peace, or stimulates your evolution in a positive direction, is where your energy should be focused. Pursuit of joy in life is your responsibility to yourself. You are not in this life to suffer or be punished. Living in closeted misery, denying oneself of the right to joy, will not ensure the happiness of anyone else, either.
The more receptive and in-tune you are with the vast non-physical You, the more alive, more passionate, more authentic and more inspired that you feel. By allowing your true self to shine through while moving in the direction of your bliss, you claim your birthright to joy. It is from this place of connection to your inner light, that nothing stands between you and You.
With love and blessings,
Michele Angelique
The other day I received a guestbook comment from AC, a beautiful lady on myspace. This comment was amazing because it was both poetic and spiritual, and included a lovely angel graphic made from one of my gallery pictures. I was so touched by this gift which encouraged me to write a response to her in similar poetic form, which I have not done with any real conviction since I was a teenager (I usually write prose). Thank you so much AC for drawing forth the inspiration to help me deliver a message for my sisters which I have had trouble finding words for prior to now.
Following is AC's dream, then my response...
AC
Last night I had a dream. I dreamed I was flying with the angels somewhere in the heavens above. This was so vivid it seemed so real! I noticed to my left a beautiful and very exquisite figure, as I approached this wondrous angelic figure I sensed that I knew this special spirit. I thought that she might be a guide. As I came up upon her she turned towards me & OMG I couldn't believe my eyes! I marvelled at her wondrous beauty she said something very soft, put out her hand and said I'm here to guide you in, it's ok, there is nothing to be afraid of, I'll stay with you all the way! That's when I must have heard something calling to me because I woke to find her gone! I felt heart struck in awe!!! I can only hope someday when I pass from this life to the next that she will be waiting for me to do as she said, guide me into the light!!!
... and my response...
Feeling your call in the night as a beacon through all time, I manifest now at your side with a message of divinity flowing gently through me...
"Fear not my precious womyn, for you are just as I, an angel disguised as human, born to shine your light. Passing over is not needed in order to be free, take my hand I'll show you, your truth is meant to be."
Through dream ethers we fly, soaring up to heaven's view, carried far into the starry sky all horizons opening anew. Wondrous you are to find that your own wings can carry you effortlessly to such highs. Continuing my message true I say while looking in your eyes...
 "Let me help you to remember to love uphold and honour the You that lives inside. Reveal your inner goddess, no longer must she hide. Never shall you be alone, there is no need to cry, with legions of angel spirits ever present by your side. So shine with me my sister, our lights combined grow ever brighter there is no force more pure or glorious than dreaming angels awakening together."
Blissfully you become aware of the beauty in your soul, and the blessed gift of power to manifest your truth be told. Returning from the dream you are uplifted in this life knowing there is no separation between You and Your Inner Light.
