Six new songs to dig this month! Starting out with what must be Australia's coolest girlgroup - I found two amazing tracks by them on an otherwise quite mediocre comp called Girls! Girls! Girls!. If anyone has their "Someone Cares For Me" please let me know! Then a track from my favourite post-punk group of all time, the all-female Neo Boys. That's followed by a later track from The Creation - I hadn't heard it until recently but boy is it great! The single version of Jazz Butcher's "Zombie Love" is so much better the take on their disgustingly titled first album Bath of Bacon. Sounds surprisingly similar to The Monochrome Set and contains the brilliant line "my baby's been underground". The Eighth Day and 3's a Crowd are the best sunshine pop bands I've heard in ages - here's a track from the former's classic only lp. The Notations was one of over a hundred garage groups from Texas. This cool little cut was, I think, their only single.
The Field Twins - Temptation 45 b-side, 1966 Neo Boys - WW2 History of Portland Punk Vol. 1 comp, 2000 The Creation - Midway Down 45 a-side, 1968 The Jazz Butcher - Zombie Love Zombie Love 12", 1984 The Eighth Day - It Takes the Rain On the Eighth Day LP, 1968 The Notations - Everything's All Right 45 a-side 1966

It feels great to announce that England's perhaps finest purveyors of fuzzy guitar pop at moment, Horowitz, will be coming to Malmö very soon. They've just released a ep and a 7" is on the way. They will be joined by Leaving Mornington Crescent, right here from Malmö. They have released their first ep and just did their first ever gig, together with Harvey Williams!

Yes we are back! Once again Uni will be playing for us, but this time back home in Sweden. Actually it's her first gig in Sweden, so we're proud to be host her first, before she goes to play in Stockholm and Jönköping. And what's even better is that Pierre from Don't Tell Me That! will be coming down to guest dj!
Otherwise, everything is as usual.
