I'm sat with my usual half three am insomnia flicking between Star Trek and Dogfights (a show about air fighter dogfighting) and as I'm flicking back to Star Trek I tap in a number one digit too high.

I end up with "Porn Week" on the screen (it's on the free channel Bravo and one down from V1 which shows Star Trek before anyone starts thinking I pay for it), it takes about 3 seconds of me fiddling with the remote trying to find Trek again before I notice that there is a strange man in the bottom right of my screen signing for the deaf and hard of hearing.

This of course isn't a bad thing, it's just that the show is in the middle of a porn scene and he is signing every single bit of dirty talk while doing some sort of back and forwards hip motion.

If you create two clone Super Soldiers, one of them will always turn evil and steal a nuke. Then it's left up to me to go in and clean the whole mess up.

That way, simple problems like random one-sided drunken death pacts could be avoided with ease.

He's one of the people behind Dungeons and Dragons.
Without that game my life would have been very different.

I owe him a lot.

..."The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results."

Sometimes though you have to. Does it always have to be in the middle of the night at a weekend though?

Poor Monkey.

Thanks to a long conversation with someone greatly missed I had a huge burst of energy, finished a section of code that had become something of a bother and solved a sensor problem that I'd spent weeks trying to get my head around.

Now, if I can just buff up April will probably be the best month of my 30 years of life. For more reasons than one.

It's no wonder I can't sleep. I think to much. 90% of the day is spent coding, the rest is comics and games.

It's not that I CAN'T keep up, I've just reached a point where I don't think I can be bothered anymore. I have a PC gaming machine, a XBox 360 and a PS3 and after the let down that and buggy mess that Crysis and The Witcher turned out to be on the PC is it any wonder I only use my PC for World of Warcraft these days?

Halo 3, Crackdown, Mass Effect, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank. Consoles really are sucking the PC market to death, and that's even before I get started on a rant about the bugs in PC games.
