I think most know that I was moving from Omaha, Nebraska to Glen Burnie, Maryland. Well... the move is complete.  And tonight is the first night in my new house. 
I am so glad to be in the house.  I haven't had my own place since February, right before I left for a trip to Iraq. 
I am really looking forward to getting unpacked and settled. 
The first step is to unload the trailer I towed from Omaha.  Shaka (a friend) is coming over tomorrow to help with that.  Then on Friday step two when my POD gets delivered.  That has all the furniture.  Quite a number of friends are coming over to help with that chore. 
Then... last step is bed shopping.  Last one needed to be replaced... so I didn't bother to pack it. 
So... any of you locals... what is the best place to buy a bed? 

Just a quick note.  I am coming home in a couple of weeks... Hopefully by the middle of September I'll be there.  I've had enough fun in the sun... this place is all beach with no ocean... So... who missed me? 

Edit:  Ok... so... for some reason Anxious comes with a bouncing frowning face... that certainly was not the "mood" I was going for... I meant anxious as in... "a hurry to get the hell out of here"... "horse in the starting gate" kinda thing... So... I changed it to hyper... while... not exactly correct... I do think it is a bit more correct... Oh... and see everyone in about 12 days...

Well... ok.  Lots of beach no ocean.  I have been crazy busy.  I just got back from a trip to Texas.  I was down there training.  Driving, and shooting.  Lots of fun.  Well... if you like that it is.Next week I am off to DC for more training.  And then early March I will be gone for 6 months.  I'll make sure to let everyone know when I am actually leaving.  Count 180 days from that point.  And that is when I'll be back. 

For the record.  I volunteered.  This easily could have been avoided.  It is a mission I believe in.  And besides, I am in the military.  17 years last October, it is what I do.  Can't really say you support something if you aren't willing to step up to the plate.

The down side is that sleeping is difficult these days.  That nervous, anxious stuff.  You know... race horse at the starting gate kinda thing.  And... did I mention the million things to do?  Anyone want to buy a house?  Help me pack?  My house is easy to find.  It is the one with the POD outside waiting to be filled. 

I always add my current music... hmm... that doesn't seem to be working.  So... for the record... currently playing:   "Pictures of You" the Cure obviously. 

For all my CoH buddies... you'll have to take up the slack in Paragon... this cape will be out of town.
