Skully has finished filming the new movie "Dark Road". He will start a promotional tour for the move soon. And the film should be out soon. DARK ROAD is set to be released very soon. BUT for now check out the short pre-release movie trailer! It's gonna be a killer!

DARK ROAD - The Devil comes home to Missouri

On a foggy night in the small southern town of Whitewater, Missouri, a local sheriff is called to the roadside scene of a violent execution style murder. When the victim is identified as a mob connected thug with local ties, the sheriff must determine if the murder is a message -- either to him or for him. However, the gathering storm of violence heading his way will leave no time for second guessing.

June 13 2009  The Mississippi Mud House will have our 1st Annual KISS FAN CONVENTION.
Hosted by The Missouri KISS ARMY.

We'll have a full day of KISS EVENTS like.

KISS
MOVIES- We'll show the original  1978 classic "KISS MEETS THE PHANTOM
OF THE PARK" AND the documentary "KISS LOVES YOU"on the big screen.

KISS
TRIVIA CONTEST. Runs like a Spelling Bee. We'll line up the contestants
and ask each one question, when someone can't answer, they sit down.
Keep going until we have only two.

KISS
FAN ART CONTEST. Can be any KISS art, as long as it is hand done and
original piece. We have three judges from the local art community. Erin
Schloss- Gallery Manager for SEMO Arts Council. Craig Thomas- Local
Artist and Owner of Black Door Gallery. And Don Greenwood- Local Artist
and Co-Op Board Member.

KISS AIR GUITAR CONTEST- Show you got what it takes to rock n roll all night! Judges are three local rock guitar players. Michael
Stewart (Drivin Rain, TNT, Killer Dwarfs), Duke Jackson (Strikeforce,
Herman Ze German), Chase Wright (Fists Of Phoenix, and Shivelbines

Drivin Rain bassist Skully Shemwell is set to star in new movie that will begin filming mid summer. Skully has been in several movies already including "Miller's Tale" and "Day Labor". The new up coming feature length film will be a Schader/Turner Production. And will again team Skully up with Producer Steve Turner.

We'll post more information as we get it!

Nikita Productions, and SOUTH TEXAS ROCKFEST, announces another act for the 2009 Music Festival to be held in downtown San Antonio Texas.

Returning for another round, DRIvIN' RAIN from Missouri have been added to the main stage for Saturday May 23.

Drivin Rain preformed on Stage Two at the 2008 STRF. Where the band became a instant fan favorite. After the 2008 festival Drivin Rain was the only unsigned band to get a photo featured in Rocknation Magazine's STRF review.




Retrospect Recording Artists DRIvIN' RAIN formed in the winter of 1994 in Cape Girardeau Missouri, being described as “100% all American raunch n roll”.

Since the bands birth, DRIvIN' RAIN has done extensive touring, and has performed on the same stage with the likes of TESLA, QUEENSRYCHE, Y&T,
UFO, DOKKEN, SKID ROW, L.A. GUNS, Jim Dandy's BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, SAXON, NAZARETH, EDDIE MONEY, BULLET BOYS, John Kay & STEPPENWOLF, TORA TORA, HELIX, HEAD EAST, PAT TRAVERS,
FASTER PUSSYCAT, JETBOY, AXE, DANGEROUS TOYS, JACKYL, FIREHOUSE, REVIS, PRETTY BOY FLOYD, RON KEEL & IRONHORSE, FRANK HANNON (of Tesla), XYZ, HELSTAR, HOUSE OF LORDS, BANG TANGO, THE HOLLYWOOD ALLSTARS, and numerous others. Throughout their 13 years together, the band has been included on many Compilation CD’s and performed on stages across the Midwest.

To date, the band has successfully released five albums independently. In 2001 DRIvIN' RAIN released their first album “Limited”, followed by “Blow Up Your Radio”, in 2003. One year later, the band unveiled their self-titled album "DRIvIN' RAIN", which spawned the radio hits "A Law Against Me", "Hellwater" and "Drivin' Rain". In 2006, the band released the
album "DELIGHTFULLY EVIL" featuring the songs, "Get Lucky", "Delightfully Evil", and "Drink My Wine", previously featured on
"Perris Networks vol 1" and sold world wide from Perris Records.

The band lost a founding member in 2007 when guitarist Tommy DeWolf died. Unwilling to give up, DRIvIN' RAIN hired MICHAEL "PEACE" STEWART, who has been preforming with bands for years. He fit the spot perfectly, and helped breath new life into the group.

In 2008 DRIvIN' RAIN had gone back on the road and preformed at it's largest show ever at SOUTH TEXAS ROCKFEST. By the end of 2008, DRIvIN' RAIN announced that they had signed a new deal with RETROSPECT RECORDS and will be doing a massive Summer Music Festival Tour in 2009, performing again at “South Texas Rockfest” , "Tommy Bolinfest", “Thunder of God Festival” among many others. They also plan to release a new album called "The Mainstream Is Polluted" in 2009 , as well as a double live album called "Delightfully livE" later in the year. They are currently writing songs for a upcoming album to be called "Acts Of Treason and Public Defiance" .

DRIvIN RAIN is TIMEXX NASTY on vocals and washboard, (Timexx is also a member of HERMAN ZE GERMAN & FRIENDS, with Herman Rarebell of the
SCORPIONS.)

MICHAEL "PEACE" STEWART on guitar and vocals, (previously a member of KID WICKED and SNAKERIDER, also collaborating with members of WHITE LION, TNT, and KILLER DWARFS.)

SKULLY SHEMWELL on bass and vocals, (is also a actor appearing in independent films MILLER’S TAIL and DAY LABOR.)

GEEP "G.P." CLARK on drums and vocals, (former member of  NEW YORK ROCKS, DC TRYAL and has worked with former members of LIZZY BORDEN.)

According to Sweet Sounds Management, (which represents former SCORPIONS drummer Herman Rarebell), Herman's new project HERMAN ZE GERMAN AND FRIENDS have announced that Timexx Nasty is the new singer. Timexx has been singing with DRIvIN' RAIN since 1994 and was the former singer for Beggars Jury among others.

Timexx will still be the singer for Drivin Rain but will also sing for HzG. The band also features long time friend Duke Jackson from Strikeforce. And Joe Council from the band Push.

 Herman Ze German have secured Artists  Worldwide from Los Angeles, CA to handle the band's worldwide tour dates. Artists Worldwide is one of the leading rock booking agencies in the world. Herman joins a great roster which includes L.A. GUNS, Y&T, BULLET BOYS, FASTER PUSSYCAT, ENUFF Z' NUFF, BRITNY FOX, DOKKEN, ADLER'S APPETITE, METAL CHURCH, STEELHEART, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, VIXEN, HOUSE OF LORDS, FLOTSAM & JETSAM, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, and many others!

Watch for a few summer shows in July. HzG will also  be at Rocklahoma and other stops around the US and South America this year.
