I've added video of Maegan's last goal in "my videos." PLEASE check it out! Only FRIENDS can check out the video and thus if you read my blog and you aren't a "friend" yet, this may entice you to become a friend! You can hear the proud Papa yelling for his baby girl as she scores her final goal of the season.

No where. Been busy, but haven't gone far. Trying to sell the house, and now saying NEVER MIND! I'm sick of showing it. We can sell it later. I'm tired now.
All the babies are great. Maegan graduated pre-K and will start Kindy in the fall. WHAT?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, is it really true? My baby girl is going to KINDERGARTEN? How did this happen? Who said she could grow up this fast?
Maegan finished up her second year of ballet. She did a fabulous job in her recital and after the last show, she went to Gammy's house for a sleep over. Matt and I snuck off for a Sister Hazel show... we made it 5 minutes before the guys went on... I was so glad we didn't miss it!
Maegan also just finished her first season of soccer. OK, I'm SO a soccer mom! I love getting up early and hitting the fields. I love cheering my baby on during the games. I love how, when she scored a goal, she'd come looking for me to get a high five! Her last game, she scored a goal and the enthusiasm was missing... why? Because a few seconds prior to her goal, she had a major collision while heading for her goal. She had her sites set on the goal, but was so focused on the ball and keeping control of it, that once she got down to her goal box, she was surrounded by defenders and she was fighting for the ball with all her might. As the players shifted closer to the goal, so did Maegan. She was scrambling for the ball, waiting for her moment to kick it in the goal and then BAM, she made contact... forehead to goal post! SO, she got some loving from Daddy, shook it off, got in the game, and kicked a goal but was still pretty shook up from her collision. All in all, a great first season for a 4 year old! She scored 6 goals in 8 games... not too shabby! She certainly made us proud.
Wils has had a language explosion as of late! He has had a rather large vocab for some time, but his language skills haven't really been the best. Now, all of the sudden, he's talking and communicating using sentences! He's extremely expressive. He has this amazing sense of humor. He's also very compassionate. He adores his baby sister and wants to tend to her every need. He's constantly giving her kisses and hugs and singing to her. It's really quite precious. BUT he's also quite the dare devil and very much an independent little man.
Mia is amazing! While she is no longer my wonderful sleeper, she is still just a sweetheart of a baby. She loves to smile. She takes great naps. She loves her siblings. She's extremely adaptable. She's a wiggle worm and is now rolling to get where she wants to go. She'll also push herself forward with her back feet. She doesn't really enjoy the pool much. I hope that will change. All in all, she's a sweet and precious angel and we are so glad that she was added to our family. It's difficult to believe she'll be 6 months old on Friday and will be starting solids in the very near future. Her favorite thing to do, as demonstrated in my profile picture, is to purse her lips and blow air out... occasionally we get a whistle, and that is hilarious!
We are spending a lot of time hanging out with Dee and Dawson. That's where we are now. And I'll end, because we are about to sit down to some yummy grilled chicken and some fresh veggies!
I'll try to blog more in the near future! xo

It's not bad. It isn't. And even if I took a picture of it, you wouldn't be able to tell. She actually did a great job with the cut (do I see stylist as a future career... maybe). She cut it with travel sewing scissors, so she couldn't really cut a lot at once and Matt interrupted her before she could do much damage. So, seriously, it's not worth posting a picture. It just ticked me off that she would think it was acceptable. I almost think it is cute now... that she did it, because I can hear the little voice in her head.
"Hmm, I just found scissors. I wonder if it hurts to get your hair cut. I probably shouldn't do this. I really want to know what it feels like. OK, I'll just cut a little bit. OH NO here comes Daddy, I better get back to the table."
Yes, she did this while we were eating lunch. I don't know if she will do it again. I really hope not. She has such beautiful little curls at the end of her hair and I'd hate for those to be cut off forevermore!

Matt was hit (nearly head on) yesterday in his Vibe. He was turning left heading into work and a little too late he realized someone was flying through a red light. He stopped just as she hit him, and then she slammed on her brakes. Her car sustained far more damage due to her slide from slamming on the breaks. Had Matt been 1 second further into the intersection, his car would have been hit directly head on. No one was injured in the accident, thankfully.
It's just been one of those craptastic weekends, so far.
Not only did he have a car accident, but then we were informed, the house we had a contract on has been bought out from underneath us! *great*
And then Maegan decided she needed a hair cut. And I guess she felt she was most qualified to handle the job!
Matt's going to basketball at 6:30 with my Daddy. I'm seriously debating running up to the wine store and grabbing a Pinot Grigio to drown in. Don't worry, I would pump some bottles for Mia prior to the alcohol consumption!
I think I'm going to curl up with Mia, a bottle of wine, and a movie... or maybe I'll read a book, and drink a bottle of wine. What I'd really like to do, is get a sitter and go to dinner with my husband. He could use the distraction. He's pretty bummed over losing the house... more bummed than he is about his car.
God has a plan, and he already knows what house He has in store for us next. I'm actually looking forward to viewing more houses. If I could only get Matt on board. Yes, we probably WON'T find another one with granite kitchen counter tops and new everything... but we might find one that already has a family room, one that is more fitting for our family... who knows... All I know is that we must keep our minds OPEN! It's not the end of the world... it's a new opportunity.
Now, about Maegan's hair... GRRRRRRRRRRR enough said.

Guess who has lost EVERY BIT of the baby weight? (it was only 12 lbs, but still) YUP, that's ME! I lost ALL of the baby weight and THEN some! I'm SO excited! I'm back in my skinny jeans... well, not that they are skinny jeans... but for me they are! I told my sister she may have to give me back some of the clothes I gave to her last year, if these pounds keep falling off! (Let's hope they do, as I'm looking forward to being a thinner, healthier, more active mom for my 3 kiddos.) I'm feeling so accomplished, only 2 weeks past delivery and already back into jeans I couldn't wear after I had my son last year! This is heavenly! I go to the doctor for my post surgical check up on Jan. 24th, and I hope I'll have lost at least 10 more! That would really set me in to a happy mood. I also have to get a doctors note for my gym, extending my membership by 8 weeks since I'm unable to workout for at least 8 weeks, and here I am paying out all this money for a membership I can't use! My pilates ball is sitting in my closet just waiting for me to get the all clear, so I can tone up that extra skin that results from childbirth! Again, have to wait 8 weeks before I can begin the pilates. AND, my goal is to save up and buy myself an elliptical trainer that I can use at home in the kids playroom while they play. I'm so ready to get in shape and show my kids how FUN working out can be! Luckily, I have children who love veggies and fruit, so healthy eating is easy for them. Now, if I can get unaddicted to Chick Fil A... then we'll really have a reason to celebrate!
So pardon me while I get up and do the Happy Dance in my little capri jeans that Laura gave me! Thanks Laura! :D

Tonight was the best night. Mia was curled up in my arms, Maegan curled up beside me with her head in my lap. Charlie Brown was on the TV. Matthew was decorating the Christmas Tree and Wils was offering him his help. It was such a cozy night. Me and my girls watching the boys and enjoying a Christmas movie. Not much could be better than that. I love my little family... it's not so little anymore. I am so blessed.
My precious little children were so good for me this afternoon. I am still under restriction, no driving, no picking up anything over 10 lbs., etc. Matt had to go to work. Wils, Maegan, Mia and I were home alone. Wils and Maegan were angels. They played and played, danced and kept covering a sleeping Mia with kisses. Wils finally looked at me, at one point, after I picked up Mia, and he asked "Pwee" (please), meaning, can I get up on the sofa with you... Of course, I couldn't lift him, so MAEGAN helped boost his hiney up so that he could climb up on the sofa... and then she, too climbed up on the sofa. I had Mia in my left arm, Wils climbed up onto my lap and Maegan snuggled up as close to me as possible... and then I heard footsteps and the key turning in the lock. Matthew walked in to the living room to see me with all three children in my lap. I looked at him, smiled and said, "WOW, you came just in time!" With that Maegan and Wils began shrieking "DADDDDDDDDDDDY" and they were out of my lap in seconds flat. I'm one happy momma! NOW, if I can just stop feeling the pain from the surgery. I'm ready to be back to normal, to be socializing with all the Christmas parties and functions. I know it will come soon enough. But, for now, I'm enjoying all of this down time with my three bambinos!

After being at the hospital since Thursday, we are finally HOME!!! My only complication was that my blood pressure wouldn't stay up. It just kept dropping... eventually it started to bounce back. The birth itself went great. Surgery began @ 1:36 pm, and 1:42pm Mia Juliet was born. She was a whopper!!! 8 lbs 6 oz, 20 1/2 inches. She loves nursing. She also loves to be held. She's very sweet. I'm completely in love with her! Maegan & Wils, both, seem to adore her already. They are very glad to have us home!

Wow, in less than 12 hours, I should be a mom of THREE! Hard to believe. OK, I'm going to go drag my husband to bed now. He's been working for hours on the nursery... it's time we both got some sleep, BEFORE 2 little ones I know will be up and bouncing off the walls! Tomorrow is quite an exciting day for Maegan... she has a Christmas party at school, she's getting a girl day with cousin Liz, and then she has ballet. Following ballet, she gets to come meet her newest sibling. Please say a prayer for Maegan that whatever gender this baby is, she'll be happy and accepting of the baby. She is DETERMINED we are having a girl... I'm not so sure.
Who knows when I will get the chance to blog again! Take care all! And those who can... feel free to come visit Friday night or anytime on Saturday!!!
