Fear Not – Pursue With Boldness
 
Several years ago there was a squirrel that lived in the tree on my front lawn. This squirrel had a torn tail because the other squirrels used to fight with it all the time. I started putting nuts and crackers out for him and after a few weeks he trusted me so much that every time I opened the door to go out, this squirrel would run up to me expecting food. I never disappointed him. After awhile he even ate out of my hand. One day I went out the door and my dog was in the house behind the glass storm door. The squirrel started running up the porch to meet me but then when it seen my dog it instantly froze in fear and then ran away. The squirrel didn't realize that there was a glass door between the dog and him and the dog couldn't get near to attack him.
 
The Lord has magnificent gifts that He would love to give each one of you but many of you are afraid to step out to receive them because you fear what might be lurking behind this door that you are unable to see. Don’t give place to fear because there is no fear when you have Gods agenda and you align your thoughts with His will. Don’t be afraid to trust Jesus because you are in Covenant with Him and you dwell in the secret place therefore you are free approach Him in faith with confidence. Pay no attention to the enemies scare tactics because they are only illusions. God wants to bring you to a new level and into a new position in your walk with Him.
 
Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
 
Don't be driven back to your old ways of your past because of fear of failure or fear of man. You were not called to a mediocrity but you were called to be a warrior in the kingdom of God.
Elijah ran in fear because Jezebel threatened to kill him just as she killed the other prophets. He was looking at things in the natural and not what God told him to do. He ran away and went to sleep under a broom tree and actually prayed for God to take his life.
 
1 Kings 19:4
But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better than my fathers!"
 
God then sent an angel to Elijah that fed him bread and water that was able to supernaturally sustain him for forty days. When God calls you to do something He will make a way. What happened in your past will not hinder or debilitate the plans that God has for your future. Don’t look back. Just as a tightrope walker has to always look straight ahead to where they are going. If the the tightrope walker looks down or look back they will fall. You also need to stay focused on where you are going.
 
Proverbs 4: 25 - 27
Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.
 
What is the vision that the Lord put on your heart? Someone once said - Vision without action is daydream; action without vision is nightmare. Pursue with boldness  and without fear whatever it is that you were called to do.

Rising Above the Snake Line
(Prophetic Word)

The Lord says I have given you authority on earth, from heaven and over hell. What you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. What you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Have I not said in My Word that I have given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you? I have given you the same authority that I gave Paul when he shook off the venomous snake and threw it back into the fire. Shake off the assailment and counterattack the ambush of the enemy. Rise above your circumstances and rise above the tactics of the devil. This is the hour to live above the snake line. I have made you more than a conqueror and have given you all things that pertain to life and godliness so that you are able to rise above any situation that the evil one brings against you. When the enemy comes in with all kinds of accusations, negative thoughts, sickness and lies don't receive them. Put to death those things that would open the door to the devil. Do not break the hedge so that he cannot have free access into your life. Do not yield to the voice of the serpent but submit your members to Me, walk in holiness and yield unto righteousness says the Lord.

Living Above The Snake Line
(Word In Season)

There is a certain altitude where snakes do not go in which scientists call "The snake line". This snake line is a particular plateau at a given elevation above sea level. For some reason snakes cannot go above this level. Many hunters and campers are wise to this so they set out for camping above the snake line. Staying above this line will keep a person out of danger but for those that are unaware of this might fall victim to the deadly venom of a snake.

We know this to be true in the natural but the bible refers to the devil allegorically as a serpent or a snake. The bible says in the book of John that the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy but as a Christian you can live above the snake line. You are called to live above the devils tactics and outwit him at every level.  When you are living from a high place the enemy cannot touch you. The devil is trying to spew out his venom at people every day but you don't have to be a captive to his schemes. In the book of Acts a snake came out of the fire and fastened itself on Paul's hand but Paul shook it off and threw it back into the fire and was not harmed.

Acts 28: 3 – 5
Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. When the islanders saw the snake hanging from his hand, they said to each other, This man must be a murderer; for though he escaped from the sea, Justice has not allowed him to live. But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.

In the same way you can live above the snake line as you come before Jesus with clean hands and a pure heart. Then you can use your authority, submit yourself to God, resist the devil and he will flee.

James 4: 7 - 8
Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Don’t Limit Your Potential

Many of you have been dwelling on your past mistakes and misfortunes and this is hindering you from moving forward. You may be thinking that if you did things differently in your life you wouldn't be where you are today. The things that you have been through in your life is your history not your testimony. I am not saying that it is not good to share with others what Jesus did for you because we are supposed to be walking testimonies and living epistles. What I am saying is that you are not the person that you used to be and therefore you need to change your mind set about the way you think about yourself. Many of you are limiting your potential for what God created you to be. If you were lame and unable to walk He wants to make you a runner. If you were illiterate and unable to read, He would love to make you a teacher. If you were mute and not able to speak it would be His pleasure to make you a minister of His Word. He wants to take the average Joe and make him into a Joseph. He can turn any situation around He wants to turn your testimony into a trophy of His faithfulness.

Proverbs 16: 3

This week I was listening to a teaching from Graham Cooke. If you can receive this revelation from this word it can change your life.
Graham Cooke was talking about how Jesus has changed us throughout the years that we have been Christians. Although you change in many areas sometimes your mind set and your language doesn't change with you. Your mind set should not come from whom you were but it should come from whom you are now. Better yet, the best mind set to have is the mind set of whom you are going to be. You are not the person who you used to be and sometimes you are changed but your thinking hasn't changed. God did something new in you but you are still thinking old even though you know that you are a different person from whom you once were.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

He said that God called you to do something that is impossible, unreasonable and unattainable and the only way that you are going to do it is to have a brilliant relationship with Jesus. Your calling is to understand who He is to you and where He wants to place you in the kingdom. This comes from having the eyes of your heart being enlightened. It is not logical reason based and not an intellect pursuit of knowledge. It is to know the Holy Spirit by the experience of His nature.
Wherever you came from, whatever you've done in your past Jesus wants to do something extraordinary in your life.

Ephesians 3: 20 - 21
Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
 

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

The Valley Of Dry Bones
(Prophetic Word)
 
The Lord is showing me that many of you feel as if you are in the valley of dry bones. You feel like there are things all around you that are dried up and dead. You think that there is no hope left for you. For some of you it is your ministry, for others it is your marriage, family or personal relationships. The Lord says I desire to resurrect those dead areas. I will open up the graves of those things that have been lifeless and bring them back to life. Trust in Me says the Lord as I begin to stir up and resurrect those dreams that you have kept in hibernation.
Be assured that what I have promised to you will surely come to pass. Be encouraged and know that life will come to those situations that have been dormant. Don’t be disheartened because these things will come back to life as I breathe My life into them. I will resuscitate those areas that have been desolate and refresh the areas that have been barren. Just keep your focus and don’t look at things in the natural. Everything in the natural is subject to change. I am the God of restoration and nothing is impossible with Me. Trust in Me and I will bring this to pass says the Lord.

Fitly Joined Together ~ Blended as One

The Lord showed me a casserole with many mixed ingredients. When the ingredients are all mixed together it changes the taste of the whole concoction because the ingredients all blend together. Just as each ingredient will take on the fragrance and the flavor of all the others when they are mixed together so will we take on the nature and the aroma of the people that we hang out with and allow into our lives. Someone once said that the friends that you choose would either add, multiply, subtract or divide from your life. All of my friends are born again Spirit filled Christians. I couldn't imagine having a conversation on the phone with someone that is cursing, lying, slandering someone or talking about something foolish or sinful. My friends and I always inspire and encourage one another and most of all sharpen one another spiritually.
 
Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.
 
I remember a song from when I was a little girl. The words of the song are: The head bones connected to the neck bone, the neck bones connected to the shoulder bone, the shoulder bone is connected to the arm bone, the arm bones connected to the back bone and it continues throughout the body. (1 Corinthians 12: 12 – 30) The bible talks about the body of Christ being fitly joined together as one.
 
Ephesians 4:16
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
 
I started writing about something totally different and the Lord changed my whole message. It is so important who you associate with. I understand that Jesus ate with sinners but once they were converted they changed their lifestyles. Be cautious of who you allow into your life.

The God of Restoration

The Lord is showing me that there are many of you that are afraid to trust anyone because people have hurt you many times in your life. Some of you have even started drinking and taking drugs to mask the pain of the past. This is a trap of the enemy. Don't fall back into that trap again. The Lord says let it go. I desire to repair those wounded places in your life. I have plans for you but you must trust Me says the Lord. Although people may fail you I will never fail you nor break My Covenant with you neither will I revise My promises to you. Trust in Me and I will bring healing to those wounded hearts. I will bring resurrection to those dead areas. I will bring deliverance to the captives. I will bring those secret desires to pass in your life. Just trust Me. I am a God of restoration and I want to restore you and use you for My glory says the Lord.

Joel 2: 24 - 26
The threshing floors shall be full of wheat, And the vats shall overflow with new wine and oil. So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.

Pursing Your Dreams

Every one of you has a dream and a vision for your life but are you willing to pursue that dream or will you let it just fade away? Many of you have been through so much adversity, sickness and all kinds of misfortune in your life that you feel disqualified from Gods plan, which is so far from the truth. We serve a Mighty God that is able to turn any life around no matter where you came from. You are not here by accident. Genesis 1:26 says that you are created in God’s image, therefore you have a destiny.  This week I had seen several signs about dreams. One of them said: Keep chasing after your dreams. I took a picture of this sign and sent it to several of my friends in a text message. Don't be afraid to pursue your dreams and the plans that God has for you. Jesus has awesome plans for your life.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Some of you strayed from the dream that you once had and the direction that you were going in and now you don't even know how to get back on track. For those of you have strayed and feel as if you are held captive to a certain situation He will make a way of escape. In the animal kingdom there are certain animals such as a lion, a bear or an eagle that would make a mad dash to get free if their cage was opened. On the other hand there are some that would back into a corner in fear, too petrified to leave to leave because they have been confined to that place and incarcerated for so long. If you have strayed or backslid, simply return to the Lord and the dream that you once had. He will release you from any captivity and set you free from what you can't do on your own.

Psalm 37:4
Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Ask Jesus to bring you into alignment with the plans, purposes and destiny that He has prepared for you. Ask for wisdom to make your dream a reality and the faith to step out and walk on the water without looking back to your past mistakes and failures. Get around strong Christians that will encourage you and sever any relationships from people that will try to annihilate your dreams and hinder your growth. You need to come into divine connections with people that believe the way that you do to help you pursue and fulfill your dreams.Don't be like the millions of people that have died and never got to fulfill their dreams and Gods plan for their lives. Jesus is able to fulfill the plans and purposes that He’s put in your heart to do. Trust Him and your dreams will come to pass.

May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.

Man In The Rear View Mirror
(Prophetic Word)

The Lord says that there are many of you that need to upgrade your self-image. Don't look at yourself the way that you were in the past. You are no longer the man or woman that you once were. Re construct your way of thinking into the image of how I see you says the Lord. I am bringing forth a new wineskin. You must protect and nurture this new wineskin to be able to hold the new wine that I am bringing. Don't look in the rearview mirror of your past any longer. When you look in the mirror open your eyes to see yourself the way that I see you. Don't be afraid of change but move forward into the victory that I have for you. Some of you are depriving yourselves from entering into the blessings that I have for you by looking back at the person that you once were. Remember where I have brought you from but walk in the newness that I am bringing you in to. Don't look back at the person that you once were but look unto the promises and the provisions that I have for you says the Lord.

Forgetting The Past
(Word In Season)

We are living in an exciting time in history when the heavens are open for us to receive all that the Holy Spirit is pouring out. As we are advancing into a new era it is imperative that you forget your past and not go back to the things that you have been delivered from. Christians are always talking about going to the next level (spiritually) but you can not go to another level if you are continually living in the past. By doing this you are delaying the process. You may have been delivered from alcohol, drugs, pornography, bipolar or what ever it was once you have been set free don’t go back. You can not keep repeating the same behavior and expect a different outcome. The bible says that when you go back it is like a dog returning to its vomit or a cleansed pig returning to the mud.

2 Peter 2:22
But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: A dog returns to his own vomit, and, a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

Take this lesson from the cat. After a cat does its duty it kicks the dirt over it to bury it and walks away. The cat will never look back or return to it. The reason why cats bury their waste is because they want to hide their scent from predators and by doing so their enemies will not be able to track them down. In the same way when you are delivered from the dung of the world you have to bury it and not return.

Isaiah 43: 18 - 19
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

 Someone once said that a stronghold is a mindset resistant to change.
Some of you are hanging on to old mindsets and ways of thinking. The Lord is trying to advance but you are still waddling in old memories. You must change the patterns of your thought life or if you want to progress in your spiritual growth and development.

Philippians 3: 13 - 14
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Come out of your Comfort Zone

The Holy Spirit gave me a vision of someone falling back into a huge oversized easy chair and just slowly sinking into it. This is what He revealed to me. There are some Christians that are getting comfortable in their ways and lax in their spiritual life.
The Lord says it is time to rekindle that fire that you once had. It is time to come back to the place where you once were with Me. For some of you, you have wondered and you need to come back to your first love. For others, you are becoming complacent where you are spiritually and it is time to advance forward rather than retreat. There are many plans that I have for you. Don't deviate from My plans and purposes for your life. There are many gifts that I have for you. Don't get comfortable in the things of this world. I desire to bring you to new heights. Come back to your first love and let Me bring My plans for you to completion says the Lord.

2 Timothy 1:6
Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Revelation 2: 4
Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Arise From Your Comfort Zone

The Lord is inviting every one of us to come into a deeper relationship with Him. He wants us all to experience His awesome power in our lives but there are too many Christians that live a carnal life all week and go to church on Sunday as a routine. Many of you are not living the exciting life that Jesus intended for you to have.  He has called you to have a personal relationship with Him. Christianity is not a religious ritual. He wants to give you wisdom (Not human wisdom) and revelation (His revealed secrets) and reveal the mysteries of His Kingdom and His Word to you. God wants to raise up an Army not a Girl Scout or Boy Scout camp. It is not about reading a daily devotional or a chapter a day of the bible but He wants to give you revelation beyond human comprehension when you read His Word. His word is alive and it has the same dunamis power today as it did in the day of creation.

Hebrews 4: 12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

As the things of this world are growing darker, we have to realize that we are the light of the world. A man of God was recently asked what he thinks about this recession. The man replied: I refuse to participate in it. Paul Keith Davis once said that we are citizens of a higher Kingdom that cannot be shaken. How can we be the light of the world if we are living the same way as the world? It is time to come out of your comfort zone. Being a lukewarm Christian is totally unacceptable to Jesus.

Revelation 3: 16
So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.

I believe that we are living in a time of considerable acceleration, fruitfulness and favor but only for those who have positioned themselves according to God's standards.  There is an open door for us to enter into a place with God where we have never experienced.
We were not called to be pew sitters. We are a mighty army and we are called to do great exploits. This is not the time to faint. Fear not and come out of your comfort zone. The Master has need of you.

Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.

Last night as I was listening to a spontaneous prophetic song “Eye to Eye” by Joshua Mills I decided to look up the scripture in 2 Kings when Elisha brought a dead child back to life. After I read the scripture the Lord gave me this prophetic word.

The Breath of God
(Word Of The Lord)

The Lord says I desire to come face to face with you in the same way that Elisha brought the Shunammite woman's dead son back to life. Just as Elisha laid on that young boy mouth to mouth, eye to eye, hand to hand the boy was restored back to life. Allow the Holy Spirit to breathe life into your being so that you will also come to life. I desire to resuscitate you with My pneuma (Spirit) and revive those dead areas in you. Do not fear this intimacy but receive My glory and I will refresh you and make all things new says the Lord.
2 Kings 4: 32 - 35
When Elisha came into the house, there was the child, lying dead on his bed. He went in therefore, shut the door behind the two of them, and prayed to the Lord. And he went up and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, his eyes on his eyes and his hands on his hands; and he stretched himself out on the child, and the flesh of the child became warm. He returned and walked back and forth in the house, and again went up and stretched himself out on him; then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.

The Glory Cloud
~ Shekinah Glory ~

We are living in a day in which God is inviting us to enter into a deeper dimension of His presence beyond what we could imagine. The Holy Spirit is about to move in a mighty way in America. I understand that there have been several prophetic words about horrendous days that lie ahead and many of these prophecies were from reputable prophets. One thing that I know for sure is that no matter what happens, if you are in Covenant with Jesus Christ when the stuff hits the fan you will not faint, fall or fail. Do not be moved because these are going to be awesome days for the body of Christ. No matter what it looks like in the natural we are coming into a time of incredible miracles, signs and wonders. The bible says that even the angels longed to see this day. The Holy Spirit wants to release His Shekinah Glory in our sanctuaries but we must be prepared for this. In several books of the bible The Glory cloud is mentioned. In Second Chronicles and First Kings the priests were not able to stand up when the glory cloud came in to the temple.

2 Chronicles 5: 13 - 14
It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

1 Kings 8: 10 – 11 (I believe this scripture is referring to the same exact account as in 2 Chronicles 5: 13 - 14)
 I have been in services where the presence of God was so thick like a cloud. This is His Shekinah Glory. The Holy Spirit wants to visit us in our congregations in the same way today that He did back in Solomons day. He also wants to visit us in our homes in this way. Some of you can not comprehend the depth of the things that God has for you. There is so much more that He has for you beyond what you can imagine if you continue to pursue Him!

Divine Deposits
( No Deposit – No Return )

The other day as I was at The Chase Manhattan Bank waiting for assistance I looked up at a sign on the wall that caught my attention. The sign read: TODAYS DECISIONS AFFECT TOMMORROWS RETURNS. When I read that sign it was such an awesome conformation as well as a revelation to me.
The Lord has been showing me the importance of what we deposit on the inside of us. People deposit their money in the bank because they believe that it is a safe place. When people deposit money they will deposit it where they can receive the most interest. We have recently seen the ponzi scam with Bernard Madoff. People invested millions of dollars because they thought that they were going to receive an extremely high interest rate. Obviously they were putting their treasure in the wrong place and lost it all. Where is your treasure? Do you desire to be in Gods perfect will and walk in the supernatural power of God? If that is so, what are you doing today to get there? What decisions have you made that will determine tomorrow’s returns? The more that you deposit the Word of God by reading and meditating on it the greater the return will be.

Matthew 6: 19 - 21
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

The Lord has deposited gifts on the inside of you and it is up to you to nurture and cultivate those gifts. Christianity is not a religion neither is it psychological or intellectual but it is supernatural. As a Christian you should be walking in the resurrection power of Jesus Christ. What you are depositing into your life and into your sprit will effect your family, your ministry and your destiny. A minister once said that what you do daily determines what you become permanently. You have to personally make the decision to stir up the gift that He has deposited in you.
 
1 Timothy 4:14 - 16
Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.

The Lord says, there are many of you that have made divine deposits throughout the years by continually standing on My word and praying even when you didn't see results. You were faithful in adversity and steadfast even when the storms raged around you. I am a God of justice and I am going to honor My word. It is time to use those gifts and talents that I have deposited in you. I have deposited many gifts in you that you have not yet seen come into fruition. Many of you are ready to walk in the ministries and callings that I have for you. Don't be afraid to step out because I am with you and I will position you as well as escort you. Do not hide your talents but be prepared to move into the plan that I have for you says the Lord.

Do Not Retreat
(Prophetic Word)
 
There are some of you that are taking three steps forward and then two steps back. The Lord says do not become weary, do not compromise and do not retreat. Do not allow the enemy to dislodge you or derail you from the place that I have you. Do not shrink back in fear. Many of you have begun a good race. Get back on the narrow path that I have for you which will lead you into blessings as you access My perfect will. Yes there will be tests and trials along the way and the enemy will try to come to steal, kill and destroy but you must learn how to endure hardness as a good soldier. I have given you the ability to be an overcomer. Do not regress but stand your ground says the Lord.
 
Galatians 5: 7 - 9
You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
 
2 Timothy 2: 3 - 4
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

Stand Your Ground
(Word In Season)
 
There are many discouraged, disillusioned and dismayed warriors in the Kingdom of God. Every one of us is called to a different ministry and rank in the body of Christ but some of you are folding under the pressure. You may have a very significant calling, which is the reason why the enemy has released some vicious attacks against you but whatever the circumstance is you must learn how to be strong in the face of adversity. For those of you who have been doing the right thing and pressing in to God in prayer although it seems like the heavens are brass this is the word of the Lord for you – Don't get weary in well doing because the time for what God created you to do is approaching and your season for His plan for your life is about to unfold. Weary, wounded, and worried Christians can not be effective in the Kingdom of God. Graham Cooke once said, there is a difference between soldiers and warriors. Every Christian is called to be a soldier but spiritual warriors are different. They are on assignment specific to Gods command against the enemy.
I understand that some of you are in very difficult situations right now but we serve a God who can turn any situation around instantly. If you are walking in Jesus plan, no man or situation can change His plans. His plans for you can NOT be thwarted.
 
Job 42:2
Job replied I know that you can do all things; no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
 
I heard something that I want to share with you from a minister named Kris Valotton. He said this:
 
The greater the destination, the longer the gestation. Adversity is the mother of invention. The journey is as important as the destination. Sometimes adversity is what leads us into a new purpose and destiny. Sometimes we get frustrated with the process. You can't lose comfort or courage in the process. Once you get someplace you don't get to stay there so long before you get to another destination. Sometimes when the journey seems long or un purposeful you have to just keep your vision. It is vision that keeps our pain a purpose. We can't lose sight for the purpose. Forget about what happened in your past. If you continue to look back you will never see where you are going.
 
Your mistakes and wrong choices will not cancel out Gods plans for your life but they certainly will delay His plans until you turn around and get back on that narrow road. All God is asking is for your heart to be right. Nothing can stop God’s plan from coming to pass in your life if you stay connected in Covenant and don't get weary in well doing.
 
Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

The Process of Maturation
 
It is such a privilege and an honor to have a personal relationship with Jesus. If you get a revelation of this it will change your life forever. Unfortunately there are some Christians that don’t understand the depth of this because they can’t comprehend the reality of The Holy Spirit communicating with them on a personal level. It is crucial to have this intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit so that you can recognize His leading and His voice. There is a process of maturation in the Kingdom of God. As you mature in your walk with the Lord it is imperative that you learn to deal with the adverse circumstances that come your way so that you could excel in the calling and gifts that God has for you.
 
Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.
 
Although He will lead and guide us there is a process that we must go through to mature us as we go from one level to the next. I understand that satan comes to steal, kill and destroy but God also brings us through tests to prove us.
Joseph was a great man of God. He had been through rejection from his family, he was tempted, tested several times and tortured in the prison for something that he didn't even do. Joseph never even retaliated. The bible states that The Lord tested Joseph (not tempted) until the word came to pass.
 
Psalm 105: 19
Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.
 
This does not mean that we will all have to go through such severe tests and trials as Joseph did but we will all go through storms along the journey of what He has for us. The Holy Spirit works with every one of us uniquely and there are different levels of obedience that are required as we grow. The extent of the sacrifices for some people may be more extreme than others because of a particular calling on his or her life. What I mean by this is that some of us may have a more stringent or constricted and narrow road that we are required to walk on if we have a higher calling on our life. Our ways of thinking and living are different from the natural man or woman.
 
1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
 
There is a prophet named Graham Cooke that I listen to often. This is what he said concerning the growth process:
 
If God gave you a promise you have to ask yourself what kind of person do I need to become to be what I was called to do?  You have to see the kind of person God wants you to be in the future. If we don’t see that future here we will not do it. All the tests in our present are about us developing the personality to fulfill that future. What is being outworked in me right now is my destiny unfolding. Where we are going, for what we have in our future, it is necessary to go through tests and we need to cooperate with the Lord. It might be tough but we need to be tough in the future because we got battles to win.  This training that you are going through is not going to be the death of you it is the making of you. It is necessary. You need to be in the moment with God. Only the called and the committed will pass the tests required to stand before the Lord as a true spokesperson of His intentions. There is a process and a series of steps that takes us from where we are now to where the Lord wants us to go next. It is important that we follow this process carefully. Jesus died to give us something so majestic and so wonderful and the church is waddling in the mud of mediocrity. We are so occupied in our little bit before God that we don’t understand our destiny in Christ.
 
It is important to recognize the process that Jesus has you in to achieve your goal. Make sure that you are not going in the wrong direction or you will delay or maybe never even get to your destination. Vision without an action is a daydream; action without a vision is a nightmare. Find out where The Lord has you and stay in that place until your next marching order.

The Kingdom of God is Within You
 
You have heard it said many times over that there is a great move of God coming to America. Many of you are becoming discouraged because you are not seeing this in the natural. The Lord says I desire to pour out My Spirit in a new and fresh way. The promises that I have made to you shall surely come to pass. Don't wait for others to start a revival because My plan is to start it within you. Open yourself to up to receive the precious gifts that I have for you. The Kingdom of heaven is within you and I will speak to you in that secret place as you diligently seek Me. Yes I am about to open up the floodgates and pour out My glory in an unprecedented way but it will start within you. You don't have to wait for the waters to stir but stir yourself up. There is no need to feel inadequate because I have come to use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I am raising up a people that will be carriers of My anointing to speak into lives of dignitaries, reputable people in government as well as celebrities. Allow Me to use you in a new and fresh way says the Lord.

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.

Whole Lot of Shaking Going On
 
Many Christians are being influenced by what they are seeing in the natural and hearing in the media. You may be going through tests and trials right now but don't be moved by this because whatever shakings you may be experiencing right now may be just the thing that will release you into the destiny that God has for you. The book of Job was not just a story but it was written for us today. Job was a real man with real issues but he is also a type and shadow of a righteous man or woman of God. It is not a book of judgment as many of us were taught, rather it shows how a righteous man will always abound with blessing. Job was an overcomer and he had everything restored to him double portion in his latter days.
 
Job 42:10
And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Vs. 12 Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning
 
Jobs losses were restored when he prayed for his friends and verse twelve says that the Lord blessed his latter days more than his beginning. God is getting ready to do something awesome in the body of Christ. Don't be moved by the things that are going on in the media or even in your personal life. Get your eyes off the television and into the Word of God and you will see a tremendous transformation in your life. There are also many prophecies going around about devastating things that are coming to America but whether or not they are true keep your eyes on Jesus. He is also about to pour out His glory in a tremendous way and He wants to use you to usher it in. The enemy knows your potential and that is why there is a fight for your life. If you are an overcomer and able to defeat the enemies plans you will be able to bring deliverance and freedom to many. There are assignments on your life that are meant to distract you from the purpose and destiny that God has for you. You need to recognize them so you can deal with them properly. No matter what it looks like in the natural a great outpouring is about to begin. The key is to stay focused and plugged in to Jesus.

"For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land. 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts."

Let It Go

The Holy Spirit showed me that some of you have a lot of deep wounds and hurts from your past and because of this you still take a lot of things so personally. Even if someone cuts you off on the road or if you think that someone is looking at you the wrong way you take it as a personal attack. Jesus wants you to know that people are not against you but you have it all played up in your mind. People in your past may have lied to you, stole from you, cheated on you or even divorced you. Don't bring that offence into your future and don't allow bitterness to take root. The anger on the inside of you is coming from a hurt heart. Give up your right to be right. Repent and move on because this is hindering your walk with the Lord. This is just another one of the enemies plans to derail you and it is important that you recognize it. Jesus wants to release you and set you free so rest in Him and know although people may have hurt you in the past you have to learn to trust again.

Psalms 147: 3
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Upgrade your Routine

When I went to the gym on Tuesday I noticed a sign that read: We are offering a free personal training session for those of you that would like to upgrade your workout by changing your routine. I thought that it would be a good idea to change my routine since I have not been spending too much time in the gym. The trainer first explained to me how important nutrition is. He said you are what you eat. I was thinking about how this surely applies to our spiritual life. He then asked me how many reps I did with the weights and I told him just eight reps two times. He said that really has to change and that if I wanted to see progress I would have to do fifteen to twenty reps three times. Then what I feared most came upon me. He made me try doing fifteen reps and he also increased the leg weights. Then he said that people could do a lot more than they think that they could do if they really wanted to see a change but they have to be diligent in what they are doing. If you want something bad enough you will work at it. Well, in my mind I was thinking that I much rather work at upgrading my spiritual routine to receive more revelation from the Holy Spirit. This physical body can be worked with any time. If you also want a deeper relationship with the Lord it is time to upgrade your routine.

Jeremiah 12: 5
If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

As you get closer to the Lord and train yourself how to hear His voice, you will know what direction to take and you will know how to pray for specific things.  The more you get tuned in you will start to discern what is of God and what is not. I understand that many of you are going through hard times right now but that is the time to press in and not retreat. The challenges that you are going through now will be the success of your future if you stay strong. The desire of every Christian is to be led by the Holy Spirit and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I want to repeat something that Graham Cooke once said because it was so profound. He said:
Power flows from the inside out! Warriors live within themselves staying calm and untroubled by externals.In the heat of battle, when faced with difficult circumstances, contending against odds, warriors call up the majesty and supremacy of God that is already present in the Secret Place of their Spirit. They have a warrior’s perception of the Reality of God in the midst of provocation, attack and opposition.

Proverbs 24:10

If you are in a spiritual battle and it seems like the intensity of the battle has increased, don't give up but press in. Jesus has great plans for your life.

An Insatiable Hunger & Thirst
( A Word In Season)

The past several months I have noticed an intense hunger and thirst for the things of God in the body of Christ. Many of you are pursuing Jesus for more of His Anointing, to be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to experience signs, wonders, and miracles in your life. You also want to know the voice and the leading of the Holy Spirit. For those of you that are feeling spiritually dry the good news is that He not only wants to refresh you with rivers of living water in abundance, but He also wants to reveal His plans and purpose for your life.

Isaiah 44:3
For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;

If you are hungry or thirsty for something you will crave and be extremely desirous of it. When you want more of God you simply need to go after Him. This starts by having a more intimate relationship with Jesus to know Him personally. You can't hunger for something or someone that you are unfamiliar with; you have to get to know Him better. King David had an extreme hunger for God.

Psalm 42: 1 - 2
As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

The Lord wants to raise up people to walk in a power that has not yet been revealed to many of us in this generation. We want more of the supernatural but then when the supernatural comes we turn it down because we are not familiar with it or it may look strange to us. You need to understand that you can only contact the physical world through your physical body and you can only contact the spiritual realm through your spirit. To hunger and thirst is the prerequisite for receiving the revelation and the wisdom of the Lord.

Isaiah 55: 1 - 2
"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

The Holy Spirit wants to move mightily in your personal life as well as your church but you just need to allow Him to. Every one of us can have awesome encounters with The Lord if we truly seek Him for this. You may be saying yes this sounds great but I just don't have an intense hunger like you have. Well if that is the case it is because you have not experienced what I have yet but if you desire to experience the awe of God, I promise – He is willing to reveal His Glory to you.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, For they shall be filled

Hunger attracts Gods attention. How hungry are you? Are you willing to trust Him completely with your life? He will not turn you away because of the depth of the love that He has for you. This is His promise to you:

Psalm 107:9
For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

 A Word In Season

A Deeper Dimension


I have been receiving many emails the past few weeks from people that want to know God in a deeper dimension. They are writing that they want to learn how to hear the Holy Spirits voice and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
As I was driving to church on Sunday the Holy Spirit showed me something interesting. As I was sitting at a traffic light on a hill I looked over to my right and observed a man on a bike having a lot of difficulty as he was peddling to get up this hill. Not only was he using all his strength and effort trying to peddle but it was also raining out which added to his difficulty.
The Holy Spirit showed me that in the same way that a person has to be in physical shape for physical activity, a Christian has to train themselves spiritually to receive spiritual things such as receiving revelation, hearing His voice and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The bible encourages us to pursue love and desire these spiritual gifts especially that we prophecy.

1 Corinthians 14: 1
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

You must be physically fit to ride a bike on level ground before you can ride up the hills and mountains. As in bike riding there will always be a season of training in which a child starts out with training wheels, then one training wheel will be taken off at a time. It is the same in the kingdom of God. It will require diligence in the Word of God and prayer and a personal relationship with Jesus rather than a religious ritual in learning to hear His voice and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you asked any athlete that has won a race what they did to obtain the prize they would tell you that they were willing, steadfast and diligent. The more that you train, the stronger you will be. If you are lazy and lethargic your muscles will deteriorate and eventually atrophy.

1 Corinthians 9: 24
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

The other night I had a dream. In this dream I was telling two Christian ladies about a dream that I had of them. This is what I said to them:
I had a dream that I was with both of you. We were standing in front of my book shelves with hundreds of books. I was pointing to all my books and I said that I used to read all these books since I became a Christian because I always wanted to hear from God and you know what? I never heard from Him until I stopped reading all these books. Now I am just reading the Word of God and now I hear from Him daily. Now I hear from Him so clear. And I also had to unlearn all that. They both said to me – that’s right, that’s right you finally got it.
Then I woke up. This dream was so real and I know that it was a God dream. Some of you are looking for God in all the wrong places. There is nothing wrong with reading anointed Christian books but you should be led by peace rather than driven. Too many voices bring confusion. You see, I was eating off the tree of knowledge of good and evil which represents human knowledge rather than eating from the tree of life which represents wisdom and revelation.
Do you want a deeper relationship with The Holy Spirit? What good is a scalpel in the hands of a two-year-old baby that is going to be a brain surgeon one day when he grows up? There is a training process and the secret is in acquiring a personal relationship with Jesus.

Hebrews 5: 12 - 14
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
