Do Not Retreat
(Prophetic Word)
 
There are some of you that are taking three steps forward and then two steps back. The Lord says do not become weary, do not compromise and do not retreat. Do not allow the enemy to dislodge you or derail you from the place that I have you. Do not shrink back in fear. Many of you have begun a good race. Get back on the narrow path that I have for you which will lead you into blessings as you access My perfect will. Yes there will be tests and trials along the way and the enemy will try to come to steal, kill and destroy but you must learn how to endure hardness as a good soldier. I have given you the ability to be an overcomer. Do not regress but stand your ground says the Lord.
 
Galatians 5: 7 - 9
You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
 
2 Timothy 2: 3 - 4
You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

Stand Your Ground
(Word In Season)
 
There are many discouraged, disillusioned and dismayed warriors in the Kingdom of God. Every one of us is called to a different ministry and rank in the body of Christ but some of you are folding under the pressure. You may have a very significant calling, which is the reason why the enemy has released some vicious attacks against you but whatever the circumstance is you must learn how to be strong in the face of adversity. For those of you who have been doing the right thing and pressing in to God in prayer although it seems like the heavens are brass this is the word of the Lord for you – Don't get weary in well doing because the time for what God created you to do is approaching and your season for His plan for your life is about to unfold. Weary, wounded, and worried Christians can not be effective in the Kingdom of God. Graham Cooke once said, there is a difference between soldiers and warriors. Every Christian is called to be a soldier but spiritual warriors are different. They are on assignment specific to Gods command against the enemy.
I understand that some of you are in very difficult situations right now but we serve a God who can turn any situation around instantly. If you are walking in Jesus plan, no man or situation can change His plans. His plans for you can NOT be thwarted.
 
Job 42:2
Job replied I know that you can do all things; no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
 
I heard something that I want to share with you from a minister named Kris Valotton. He said this:
 
The greater the destination, the longer the gestation. Adversity is the mother of invention. The journey is as important as the destination. Sometimes adversity is what leads us into a new purpose and destiny. Sometimes we get frustrated with the process. You can't lose comfort or courage in the process. Once you get someplace you don't get to stay there so long before you get to another destination. Sometimes when the journey seems long or un purposeful you have to just keep your vision. It is vision that keeps our pain a purpose. We can't lose sight for the purpose. Forget about what happened in your past. If you continue to look back you will never see where you are going.
 
Your mistakes and wrong choices will not cancel out Gods plans for your life but they certainly will delay His plans until you turn around and get back on that narrow road. All God is asking is for your heart to be right. Nothing can stop God’s plan from coming to pass in your life if you stay connected in Covenant and don't get weary in well doing.
 
Galatians 6:9
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

The Process of Maturation
 
It is such a privilege and an honor to have a personal relationship with Jesus. If you get a revelation of this it will change your life forever. Unfortunately there are some Christians that don’t understand the depth of this because they can’t comprehend the reality of The Holy Spirit communicating with them on a personal level. It is crucial to have this intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit so that you can recognize His leading and His voice. There is a process of maturation in the Kingdom of God. As you mature in your walk with the Lord it is imperative that you learn to deal with the adverse circumstances that come your way so that you could excel in the calling and gifts that God has for you.
 
Proverbs 24:10
If you faint in the day of adversity, Your strength is small.
 
Although He will lead and guide us there is a process that we must go through to mature us as we go from one level to the next. I understand that satan comes to steal, kill and destroy but God also brings us through tests to prove us.
Joseph was a great man of God. He had been through rejection from his family, he was tempted, tested several times and tortured in the prison for something that he didn't even do. Joseph never even retaliated. The bible states that The Lord tested Joseph (not tempted) until the word came to pass.
 
Psalm 105: 19
Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the Lord tested him.
 
This does not mean that we will all have to go through such severe tests and trials as Joseph did but we will all go through storms along the journey of what He has for us. The Holy Spirit works with every one of us uniquely and there are different levels of obedience that are required as we grow. The extent of the sacrifices for some people may be more extreme than others because of a particular calling on his or her life. What I mean by this is that some of us may have a more stringent or constricted and narrow road that we are required to walk on if we have a higher calling on our life. Our ways of thinking and living are different from the natural man or woman.
 
1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
 
There is a prophet named Graham Cooke that I listen to often. This is what he said concerning the growth process:
 
If God gave you a promise you have to ask yourself what kind of person do I need to become to be what I was called to do?  You have to see the kind of person God wants you to be in the future. If we don’t see that future here we will not do it. All the tests in our present are about us developing the personality to fulfill that future. What is being outworked in me right now is my destiny unfolding. Where we are going, for what we have in our future, it is necessary to go through tests and we need to cooperate with the Lord. It might be tough but we need to be tough in the future because we got battles to win.  This training that you are going through is not going to be the death of you it is the making of you. It is necessary. You need to be in the moment with God. Only the called and the committed will pass the tests required to stand before the Lord as a true spokesperson of His intentions. There is a process and a series of steps that takes us from where we are now to where the Lord wants us to go next. It is important that we follow this process carefully. Jesus died to give us something so majestic and so wonderful and the church is waddling in the mud of mediocrity. We are so occupied in our little bit before God that we don’t understand our destiny in Christ.
 
It is important to recognize the process that Jesus has you in to achieve your goal. Make sure that you are not going in the wrong direction or you will delay or maybe never even get to your destination. Vision without an action is a daydream; action without a vision is a nightmare. Find out where The Lord has you and stay in that place until your next marching order.

The Kingdom of God is Within You
 
You have heard it said many times over that there is a great move of God coming to America. Many of you are becoming discouraged because you are not seeing this in the natural. The Lord says I desire to pour out My Spirit in a new and fresh way. The promises that I have made to you shall surely come to pass. Don't wait for others to start a revival because My plan is to start it within you. Open yourself to up to receive the precious gifts that I have for you. The Kingdom of heaven is within you and I will speak to you in that secret place as you diligently seek Me. Yes I am about to open up the floodgates and pour out My glory in an unprecedented way but it will start within you. You don't have to wait for the waters to stir but stir yourself up. There is no need to feel inadequate because I have come to use the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. I am raising up a people that will be carriers of My anointing to speak into lives of dignitaries, reputable people in government as well as celebrities. Allow Me to use you in a new and fresh way says the Lord.

Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.

Whole Lot of Shaking Going On
 
Many Christians are being influenced by what they are seeing in the natural and hearing in the media. You may be going through tests and trials right now but don't be moved by this because whatever shakings you may be experiencing right now may be just the thing that will release you into the destiny that God has for you. The book of Job was not just a story but it was written for us today. Job was a real man with real issues but he is also a type and shadow of a righteous man or woman of God. It is not a book of judgment as many of us were taught, rather it shows how a righteous man will always abound with blessing. Job was an overcomer and he had everything restored to him double portion in his latter days.
 
Job 42:10
And the Lord restored Job's losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Vs. 12 Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning
 
Jobs losses were restored when he prayed for his friends and verse twelve says that the Lord blessed his latter days more than his beginning. God is getting ready to do something awesome in the body of Christ. Don't be moved by the things that are going on in the media or even in your personal life. Get your eyes off the television and into the Word of God and you will see a tremendous transformation in your life. There are also many prophecies going around about devastating things that are coming to America but whether or not they are true keep your eyes on Jesus. He is also about to pour out His glory in a tremendous way and He wants to use you to usher it in. The enemy knows your potential and that is why there is a fight for your life. If you are an overcomer and able to defeat the enemies plans you will be able to bring deliverance and freedom to many. There are assignments on your life that are meant to distract you from the purpose and destiny that God has for you. You need to recognize them so you can deal with them properly. No matter what it looks like in the natural a great outpouring is about to begin. The key is to stay focused and plugged in to Jesus.

"For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land. 7 and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 8 'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 9 The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts."

Let It Go

The Holy Spirit showed me that some of you have a lot of deep wounds and hurts from your past and because of this you still take a lot of things so personally. Even if someone cuts you off on the road or if you think that someone is looking at you the wrong way you take it as a personal attack. Jesus wants you to know that people are not against you but you have it all played up in your mind. People in your past may have lied to you, stole from you, cheated on you or even divorced you. Don't bring that offence into your future and don't allow bitterness to take root. The anger on the inside of you is coming from a hurt heart. Give up your right to be right. Repent and move on because this is hindering your walk with the Lord. This is just another one of the enemies plans to derail you and it is important that you recognize it. Jesus wants to release you and set you free so rest in Him and know although people may have hurt you in the past you have to learn to trust again.

Psalms 147: 3
He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

Upgrade your Routine

When I went to the gym on Tuesday I noticed a sign that read: We are offering a free personal training session for those of you that would like to upgrade your workout by changing your routine. I thought that it would be a good idea to change my routine since I have not been spending too much time in the gym. The trainer first explained to me how important nutrition is. He said you are what you eat. I was thinking about how this surely applies to our spiritual life. He then asked me how many reps I did with the weights and I told him just eight reps two times. He said that really has to change and that if I wanted to see progress I would have to do fifteen to twenty reps three times. Then what I feared most came upon me. He made me try doing fifteen reps and he also increased the leg weights. Then he said that people could do a lot more than they think that they could do if they really wanted to see a change but they have to be diligent in what they are doing. If you want something bad enough you will work at it. Well, in my mind I was thinking that I much rather work at upgrading my spiritual routine to receive more revelation from the Holy Spirit. This physical body can be worked with any time. If you also want a deeper relationship with the Lord it is time to upgrade your routine.

Jeremiah 12: 5
If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, Then how can you contend with horses? And if in the land of peace, In which you trusted, they wearied you, Then how will you do in the floodplain of the Jordan?

As you get closer to the Lord and train yourself how to hear His voice, you will know what direction to take and you will know how to pray for specific things.  The more you get tuned in you will start to discern what is of God and what is not. I understand that many of you are going through hard times right now but that is the time to press in and not retreat. The challenges that you are going through now will be the success of your future if you stay strong. The desire of every Christian is to be led by the Holy Spirit and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I want to repeat something that Graham Cooke once said because it was so profound. He said:
Power flows from the inside out! Warriors live within themselves staying calm and untroubled by externals.In the heat of battle, when faced with difficult circumstances, contending against odds, warriors call up the majesty and supremacy of God that is already present in the Secret Place of their Spirit. They have a warrior’s perception of the Reality of God in the midst of provocation, attack and opposition.

If you are in a spiritual battle and it seems like the intensity of the battle has increased, don't give up but press in. Jesus has great plans for your life.

An Insatiable Hunger & Thirst
( A Word In Season)

The past several months I have noticed an intense hunger and thirst for the things of God in the body of Christ. Many of you are pursuing Jesus for more of His Anointing, to be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and to experience signs, wonders, and miracles in your life. You also want to know the voice and the leading of the Holy Spirit. For those of you that are feeling spiritually dry the good news is that He not only wants to refresh you with rivers of living water in abundance, but He also wants to reveal His plans and purpose for your life.

Isaiah 44:3
For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, And floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants, And My blessing on your offspring;

If you are hungry or thirsty for something you will crave and be extremely desirous of it. When you want more of God you simply need to go after Him. This starts by having a more intimate relationship with Jesus to know Him personally. You can't hunger for something or someone that you are unfamiliar with; you have to get to know Him better. King David had an extreme hunger for God.

Psalm 42: 1 - 2
As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

The Lord wants to raise up people to walk in a power that has not yet been revealed to many of us in this generation. We want more of the supernatural but then when the supernatural comes we turn it down because we are not familiar with it or it may look strange to us. You need to understand that you can only contact the physical world through your physical body and you can only contact the spiritual realm through your spirit. To hunger and thirst is the prerequisite for receiving the revelation and the wisdom of the Lord.

Isaiah 55: 1 - 2
"Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. 2 Why do you spend money for what is not bread, And your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance.

The Holy Spirit wants to move mightily in your personal life as well as your church but you just need to allow Him to. Every one of us can have awesome encounters with The Lord if we truly seek Him for this. You may be saying yes this sounds great but I just don't have an intense hunger like you have. Well if that is the case it is because you have not experienced what I have yet but if you desire to experience the awe of God, I promise – He is willing to reveal His Glory to you.

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, For they shall be filled

Hunger attracts Gods attention. How hungry are you? Are you willing to trust Him completely with your life? He will not turn you away because of the depth of the love that He has for you. This is His promise to you:

Psalm 107:9
For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

 A Word In Season

A Deeper Dimension


I have been receiving many emails the past few weeks from people that want to know God in a deeper dimension. They are writing that they want to learn how to hear the Holy Spirits voice and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
As I was driving to church on Sunday the Holy Spirit showed me something interesting. As I was sitting at a traffic light on a hill I looked over to my right and observed a man on a bike having a lot of difficulty as he was peddling to get up this hill. Not only was he using all his strength and effort trying to peddle but it was also raining out which added to his difficulty.
The Holy Spirit showed me that in the same way that a person has to be in physical shape for physical activity, a Christian has to train themselves spiritually to receive spiritual things such as receiving revelation, hearing His voice and be used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The bible encourages us to pursue love and desire these spiritual gifts especially that we prophecy.

1 Corinthians 14: 1
Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

You must be physically fit to ride a bike on level ground before you can ride up the hills and mountains. As in bike riding there will always be a season of training in which a child starts out with training wheels, then one training wheel will be taken off at a time. It is the same in the kingdom of God. It will require diligence in the Word of God and prayer and a personal relationship with Jesus rather than a religious ritual in learning to hear His voice and receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. If you asked any athlete that has won a race what they did to obtain the prize they would tell you that they were willing, steadfast and diligent. The more that you train, the stronger you will be. If you are lazy and lethargic your muscles will deteriorate and eventually atrophy.

1 Corinthians 9: 24
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it.

The other night I had a dream. In this dream I was telling two Christian ladies about a dream that I had of them. This is what I said to them:
I had a dream that I was with both of you. We were standing in front of my book shelves with hundreds of books. I was pointing to all my books and I said that I used to read all these books since I became a Christian because I always wanted to hear from God and you know what? I never heard from Him until I stopped reading all these books. Now I am just reading the Word of God and now I hear from Him daily. Now I hear from Him so clear. And I also had to unlearn all that. They both said to me – that’s right, that’s right you finally got it.
Then I woke up. This dream was so real and I know that it was a God dream. Some of you are looking for God in all the wrong places. There is nothing wrong with reading anointed Christian books but you should be led by peace rather than driven. Too many voices bring confusion. You see, I was eating off the tree of knowledge of good and evil which represents human knowledge rather than eating from the tree of life which represents wisdom and revelation.
Do you want a deeper relationship with The Holy Spirit? What good is a scalpel in the hands of a two-year-old baby that is going to be a brain surgeon one day when he grows up? There is a training process and the secret is in acquiring a personal relationship with Jesus.

Hebrews 5: 12 - 14
For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Spiritual Identity Crisis
(A Word In Season)


Many of you are having what I call a spiritual identity crisis by not knowing what your gifts and callings are and trying to find your place in body of Christ. It is comparable to the structure of a jigsaw puzzle. You know that you are a piece of this puzzle but you are searching to see where you fit in. There are also those of you that may have been watching certain ministers and have a strong desire to be like them because they are highly anointed and being used in the gifts of the Holy Spirit in such an incredible way. There is nothing wrong with admiring their gift and character, but you shouldn’t try to copy their presentation, teachings or even prophecies because The Lord wants to use you with your own personality and talents and not imitate or be a clone of someone else. The gifts are available to every one of us and the Holy Spirit wants to release these gifts to you also in abundance. Although you may be attracted to someone’s charisma, magnetism and the way they minister, Jesus has created you as an individual and wants to use you with your own personality, mannerisms and makeup.

1 Corinthians 12: 4 - 7
There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all.

Several years ago Paul Keith Davis was speaking about the powerful ministry of William Branham. Paul Keith said that we shouldn't emulate the people being used by God. Instead we should imitate their faith.

Hebrews 13: 7
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

God delights in using ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory. As long as you are living a holy life in line with the Word of God it doesn't matter if you are an introvert who is withdrawn and shy or an extrovert who is bold and outspoken. The gift that God has for you is befitting to your personal characteristics. Don't try to be someone that you were not created to be, just be a submissive yielded vessel. He created you for such a time as this just the way that you are and wants to use you just the same. He has a commission for you that only you can fulfill.

Psalm 139: 13 - 16
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Jesus wants to release you into the gifts that He has for you. The bible says that all of creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. There are many extremely gifted people in the world such as musicians and singers that have used their gift foolishly and most of them are used for the kingdom of darkness. The bible says that you have a desirable treasure and oil on the inside of you. Don't allow the enemy to steal it as the foolish man does. There is a potential on the inside of you that the world does not have. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal this gift to you.

Proverbs 21:20
There is desirable treasure, And Oil in the dwelling of the wise, But a foolish man squanders it.

Chosen to Set the Captives Free
(A Word In Season)

I have an awesome revelation that I want to share with you this week. Do you know that whatever the devil tried to steal in your life whether it was your health, your finances, your mind, your peace or your family is the exact area that the Lord wants to use you in? Jesus not only wants to bring total restoration, healing and deliverance to you in every area of your life (Which is His perfect will) but He wants to use you to liberate others from the same things that He has released you from.

2 Corinthians 1: 3 - 5
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

Some of you may feel like you were thrown in a pit like Joseph was. The Lord raised you up out of that pit so that you can rescue others out of their pit.
For those of you who have been bound in depression20or tormented with fear. He wants to make you bold as a lion and He will release the oil of gladness to you so that you can also dispense it to others. For those of you who were healed of various sickness and disease, He will use you to lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
Even those of you that were delivered from drugs, alcohol or may have been in prison, Jesus had unshackled you to set other captives free. He is a righteous God who desires to use those who previously were winos to dispense the new wine of His Glory.
For those of you that have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness and were involved in occult practices such as psychics, tarot card reading or things of the new age. He has awesome plans for you to be used in His Kingdom of light in a ministry of miracles, signs and wonders.
Jesus told Simon Peter that He prayed for him because the devil wanted to take him out and then He said to Peter – After you are converted, go and strengthen your brethren. He wants to use you to rescue and deliver others after you are restored and your mind is renewed.

Luke 22: 31 - 32
Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.
 
Throughout the bible God raised up men and women and sent them out to peo ple that have the same issues that they were delivered from. The apostle Paul who previously was named Saul was a murderer and used to kill Christians until he had that awesome encounter with the Lord and was converted. He was totally transformed and became a great apostle and mighty deliverer. Paul wrote most of the New Testament and most of his writings he wrote from his jail cell.
I attended a conference last weekend where the atmosphere was infused with the presence of The Holy Spirit. This is what He wants for all of us but many of you don't understand this yet.  Every one of us is called to so much more than we are walking in. What did the devil try to steal from you? God wants to reverse what was meant for evil against you to save many others from the same calamities.

Genesis 50:20
But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.

Insufficient Funds

The Holy Spirit gave me this word for those of you that feel spiritually bankrupt. He is showing me that the reason for this is that you are trying to make a withdrawal from something that you have not deposited. In the natural, in order to withdraw money from a bank account you must have the funds in your account to draw from.  If there is no money in your account you will not be able to take any money out due to insufficient funds. In the same way, some of you are spiritually depleted because you have not made any spiritual deposits by fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit by spending time with Him, or feeding yourself with the Word of God and prayer.

Ephesians 5:18
And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit

The original definition of this word “filled” means a continuous replenishment, an ongoing and repeated filling. Just as you would have to continually replenish your bank account, the same principle applies to your spiritual life. Not only will you become spiritually drained and famished but you will not have anything to fight with when adversity and trials come your way. The Holy Spirit wants the fellowship that He once had with you but you must always remember that it is a relationship not a religion. (selah) Jesus has great plans for you. He is getting ready to do awesome things among us which some of us are experiencing already. If you look closely you too will see a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea.

A Time of Blessing Or Cursing?

e have been hearing many controversial prophecies from diverse Prophets (most of them are creditable and accurate in their gifting) and also prophetic men and women of God concerning the days that lie ahead. Most of these prophecies pertaining to things that are supposed to happen are imminent.  Some are saying that we are coming into a time of devastation and destruction while others are saying that we are coming into the greatest revival and the greatest move of The Holy Spirit that the world has ever seen. How can there be such contradiction between anointed men and women of God? Who are we supposed to believe?
I truly believe without a doubt that both views are totally accurate. Some of these prophets are seeing things from one perspective while others are seeing things from another view. All the sudden upheaval is obvious in America but I also see God moving in such a powerful way in the lives of many believers. I believe that things in the natural are certainly going to get worse but I also believe that there are abundant blessings and the favor of God for those whose lives are submitted to the Lord. There is no middle ground.

Revelation 3: 15 - 16
I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
 
There is an obvious clash of the kingdoms but The Kingdom of light will always overpower the kingdom of darkness. It is undeniable that things are getting worse in the economy. We may be living in trying times but on the other hand, the Lord is doing awesome things. If you are not experiencing this I would encourage you to seek Jesus diligently and ask Him to reveal His awesome glory to you.
As Christians we have to be careful that we don’t get sucked into the vortex of what is happening in the natural. We are not of this world and we have to recognize the spiritual battle that we are in as well. Some Christians are deceived into thinking that just because they are Christians that nothing can happen to them. That is incorrect. I understand that those who are in Christ will be protected but we also have to fight the good fight of faith and recognize who the real enemy is. It is imperative to be a warrior if you want to advance in the Kingdom of God in these days that we are living in.
Graham Cooke once said this concerning spiritual warriors:
Spiritual warriors internalize their relationship with the Lord. They live from within. They know that power flows from the inside to the outside and not the other way around. God put something inside of you that needs to be manifested. It has to be revealed declared and has to be exposed.
Revelation doesn't come to mediocre Christians that go to church for entertainment but doesn't pursue the plans of God in their private lives. Revelation comes to those who are diligently seeking the heart and mind of Christ in their closet. There is a process of learning His direction and leading. We are in a season in which the Holy Spirit is moving in a new and fresh way. As I recently said, this is the year that many of you in the body of Christ are being released into the callings, gifts, ministries and mantles that The Lord has for you. He has a lot to offer. The decision is up to you how much you want to receive.

John 16: 33
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.

The Truth Shall Set you Free
(A Word In Season)

The Lord showed me something unusual today. He showed me a frog being put into a pot of water. It is said that if you put a frog into a pot of boiling water, it will leap out right away to escape the danger. But, if you put the frog into a pot on a stove that is filled with cool water and then you gradually turn up the flame and heat the pot until the water starts boiling, the frog will not jump out. The reason for this is because the frog wouldn't be aware of the gradual increase in the heat. As the water is gradually heating up, the frog will become accustomed to the temperature and therefore it will not recognize the danger until it is too late. You see, a frog's survival instincts are geared towards detecting sudden changes.
The Holy Spirit showed me that in the same way there are some of you that are sitting under incorrect teaching and you don't realize the danger of it because you are so accustomed to it. You have been listening to doctrine that is misleading for such a long time that you don't even recognize that it is not only incorrect but also harmful. Some of you are hearing too many voices and this is bringing confusion and now you can not discern what is false from what is from the Holy Spirit any more. Jesus said this concerning the leading of the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13-15
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.

If you ask Jesus to lead you and guide you in the right direction He will not let you go astray. There are also some of you as well as ministers that have been judging the gifts of the Holy Spirit and therefore they are not manifested in your lives or in your congregations. Some of you are in fear of the supernatural and you are afraid of being led by demonic spirits. The Holy Spirit would never give us something contrary to the Word of God.

Luke 11: 10 – 13
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!

Jesus is the Prince of Peace and He is not the author of confusion. If you want to be sure if what you are hearing and/or preaching is sound doctrine, you have to follow after peace. We serve a supernatural God and The Holy Spirit wants to do great things among us but we must allow Him by receiving all that He has for us.

Spiritual Growth
(A Word In Season)

I have been receiving many emails from Christians saying that they want to learn how to hear The Holy Spirits voice and know His leading. I have spent many years of extensive study in the Word of God and studying about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the thing that I learned most from very creditable prophets and teachers was this. The most important thing in your spiritual growth is your character and integrity. God values this over your gift. We have seen many highly anointed men and women of God fall because of issues in their lives, which they have not properly dealt with. Another thing that is imperative to our spiritual growth is that we must read The Word of God, which is the bible. The Word of God sensitizes us to the Holy Spirit. We can not receive revelation without getting it from the bible. The Word of God is a living word. It is not just another book.

Hebrews 4: 12
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

I studied a lot from John Paul Jackson who is a very reputable prophet. He said that God speaks to us in proportion to our spiritual maturity. Another thing that I learned from him is this. To the degree that your spirit is in rule (wisdom, communion and conscience) that is the degree that you will hear from God. If your soul is ruling you (your mind, will and emotions) then you will just be in the flesh. He also teaches how character is built by private victories, which is what you are doing when no one is around. You also have to be teachable and allow the Holy Spirit to correct you if you want Him to lead you.

2 Timothy 3: 16 - 17
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work'

An electric wire has no value in and of itself. It only has power flowing through it when it is plugged into the outlet, which is the source. In the same way, if you want to hear from The Holy Spirit, know His leading, guidance and direction you have to stay plugged in. Revelation only comes in peace and the only way The Holy Spirit can speak to you is through your spirit. If you have turmoil and confusion in your mind you will not be able to hear Him correctly. 

Psalm 42: 7
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.

If you want to accelerate in your spiritual growth spend more time in the Word of God.  Jesus wants to communicate with you more than you want it.

Faded Glory

 The other day The Holy Spirit gave me this word. He brought back to my remembrance “Faded Glory”.  Several years ago there were very popular denim jeans and the company's name was "Faded Glory". The Lord said that there are many Christians as well as whole churches that feel as if The Glory of the Lord has faded in their lives and ministries. Some of you feel as if the glory has departed (Ichabod).  He wants you to know that He did not leave you and He wants to bring His Glory back into your lives but you are hindering Him by looking at the negative circumstances around you. Don't be moved by these adverse situations because they are holding you back from receiving what Jesus wants to do in your lives. He wants to do awesome things among us. We are coming into a season of the former and the latter rain. He is about to pour our His glory among all flesh. Do not dismay but know that He has not left you. Submit yourselves to Him once again you will be amazed what He will do in your lives and ministries.

Zechariah 10:1
Ask the Lord for rain In the time of the latter rain.  The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, Grass in the field for everyone.

Joel 2: 23 - 24
Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you-- The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.

Multiple Births are Coming Forth

The Holy Spirit gave me an interesting word this week. I'm sure that every one of you has heard about the woman that recently gave birth to octuplets, which are eight babies. This is so extreme in child bearing that the media is calling her The Octomom. She did not conceive through a physical relationship with a man but she conceived through artificial insemination. In the same way that these babies were not conceived naturally from a physical relationship there are many of you that are about to give birth spiritually and some of you are going to receive multiple gifts. In this spiritual conception you have been impregnated through the impartation of the Holy Spirit.

John 3: 6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

There is actually a word in the New Testament which is sperma. It means a seed that is planted. Some of the definitions are: an offspring, a planting or a divine energy of the Holy Spirit operating within the soul by which we are regenerated.
When there is a calling on your life or when God gives you a gift you don't have to force it to happen or struggle with it. There is no frustration in Gods will. You don't have to worry if it will come to pass but you can stand assured that it will if you are willing and obedient.

Philippians 1: 6
Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

In the natural when a woman is in labor the pain intensifies up to the moment that she is about to give birth. She then has to get in position and push to bring forth the baby. It is the same analogy when you are getting ready to birth something spiritually. It may be difficult but you have to push through some issues and make sure you are in position to receive what Jesus has for you. Some of you have been pregnant for so long that you are overdue. You may even need induced labor.
When you are trying to get in alignment with Gods plans the enemy will bring torrents of adversity but you have to learn how to break through that. Don’t allow adverse situations and what you see affect your walk with the Lord. Getting into position is not getting into a religious ritual but it is being prepared by having uninterrupted and uncompromised perseverance.

1 Corinthians 15: 58
Therefore, my beloved brethren, Be Steadfast, Immovable, always Abounding in the Work of The Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in The Lord.

We are living in the year of 2009, which is an exciting time in history. If you look at everything going on in the world through the eyes of the media, obviously there is much turmoil in the natural.
Nine is the number of the months of a full term for a woman to be in labor. The Holy Spirit is doing great things and the Kingdom of God is advancing although it may not be evident. There are many gifts and callings that are about to come forth and a great army of God is arising. As a word of Wisdom, don’t digest what you see in the natural because if you do, you will only bring fear upon yourself and delay Gods plans. Get in the birth position and watch what the Lord is about to do with your life.

For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

Naturally Supernatural
(A Word In Season)

As Holy Spirit filled Christians we are not just natural beings but we are Super-natural beings. We were not created to live a mediocre or average life. If you are living a mundane life you are missing out on an extraordinary array of supernatural blessings that God has for you. We were created to live in two realms which is the natural realm (The flesh) and the supernatural realm (the spirit). The reality of the supernatural realm is not for the psychics. Psychics are connected with the demonic realm and controlled by evil spirits. We are not controlled but we are led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to the earth as a prototype of the believer.  Although He was here in the flesh, He was continually in communion with the father. He only did what He seen the father doing. He has also given us authority to the supernatural realm just as we have access to this natural realm. This is what Jesus commanded us to do.

Matthew 10:8
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

In the natural we certainly have no power or authority to do those things but spiritually Jesus has given us the authority and the anointing to do them. In the book of Acts there were some exorcists as well as the seven sons of Sceva who tried to cast out demons because they had seen Jesus and His disciples doing it. They thought that they could have this same power but look what happened to them when they tried to cast a demon out of a man.

Acts 19: 13 - 16
Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists took it upon themselves to call the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, We exorcise you by the Jesus whom Paul preaches. Also there were seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, who did so. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you? Then the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, overpowered them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

We are called to do great exploits and advance the Kingdom of God on this earth. We are carriers of His glory and we must learn how to walk in it. Many that would have been ministers, writers, evangelists, psalmists etc; have passed away that have never walked in their callings or even understood it. When Jesus prayed to the father for us, He said that we are not of this world.

John 17: 15 - 16
I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

I understand that we live in a body and we have to eat, go to work and take care of our families on this earth but that shouldn't stop us from living a supernatural life. You could learn how to live in the supernatural and walk in the spirit in your every day chores. The Holy Spirit is calling us to a place of faith that is beyond the natural way of thinking. It may not make sense to your natural mind and you may even be fearful of the supernatural. Jesus also said in John 14:12 that we will do even greater works.The natural man cannot and does not have the ability to understand the things of heaven. The bible says that they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Do you desire to be used by God and to walk in the Supernatural realm? Its your choice because this is His will for every Spirit filled believer.

WORD OF THE LORD
Realign yourself

The Holy Spirit is showing me that many of you have disengaged from the journey that you were once on with God. Some of you were running the good race. Who hindered you from going forward? What voices are you listening to? That did not come from The Lord who has called you. The Holy Spirit is calling you to realign yourself with His plan for your life. Some of you are afraid of advancing spiritually because you fear the warfare that may be involved. The Lord will not give you more than you can handle. Do not be like Gidean and draw back in fear. Did God not say that no evil shall befall you? Neither shall any plague or calamity come near your dwelling?

There are others of you feel that you are not qualified. What you are doing in the natural is irrelevant to your call whether you are a janitor, a housewife or a Wall street executive. Your career has nothing to do with your spiritual gifting or calling. There are no ranks neither is there any discrimination in the Kingdom of God.

For those of you that are already in the ministry, your calling has nothing to do with being used supernaturally. Whether you are an apostle or an intercessor, your position doesn’t negate or determine your ability to function in the spiritual realm. You are called to live and move in the supernatural realm simply to walk as Jesus walked and advance the Kingdom of God.

In Sync with Holy Spirit
(A Word In Season)

I felt led to repost this word that The Holy Spirit gave me several months ago as I was charging and synchronizing my MP3 player. Many of you have ipods or MP3 players. I have so much anointed teaching from many ministries and the audio bible installed in mine and I bring it to work with me every day. I plug it in my ears and continually feed myself with the Word of God, which to me is like having spiritual intravenous.
Each night when I get home I plug my mp3 player into my computer to charge it and synchronize it from whatever teachings I want to put in it whether it is from CD’s, podcasts or the audio bible. As soon as I plug it in to my computer, a little window pops up on my screen which says: Do you want to sync it now and what do I want to sync it with? Tonight when that little window popped up, my spiritual antennas went up. I looked up the word sync which is also short for synchronize and as I read it the Holy Spirit quickened this word to me for you this week.
This is the definition of synchronize:

Synchronize
1. To cause to indicate the same time, as one timepiece with another:
2. a.  To cause to go on, move, operate, work, etc., at the same rate and exactly together: in harmony or harmonious relationship
3. a. to cause (sound and action) to match precisely: to synchronize the sound of footsteps with the another's movements.
    b.  To match the sound and action in.
4. To cause to agree in time of occurrence; assign to the same time or period, as in a history.

Wow! In the same way, you need to be plugged into the Holy Spirit first before the synchronization can start and then He will begin downloading things into your spirit beyond what your natural mind can comprehend. Although the capacity of my MP3 player is 30 GB, which is pretty large, if I filled it up I would have to delete some things before adding more. What is your capacity for Him?  What would you have to delete from your life to be filled with more of The Holy Spirit? If you have too much other stuff on the inside you will have to remove some things to make room for more of Him.  Are you ready to be completely synchronized with Him? This certainly is His will for all of us. Jesus prayed to the father for us to be synchronized with them.

John 17: 21 - 23
That they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

What an awesome scripture! Jesus prayed that for us! He wants to synchronize with us by becoming one with us. And He said to the father - The Glory that You have given Me I have given them so that they can be one just as we are! WOW! We can move as He moves and speak what He speaks. Are you ready to synchronize with Holy Spirit? Make this your prayer this week.

Take The Limits Off

The Lord is showing me that many of you are trying to put God in a box by limiting Him. The Holy Spirit wants to be free to move in your lives and in your churches as He wills but many of you are coming to Him with preconceived ideas and expectations. You have to let go of your old mindsets and allow Him to do things the way that He pleases. Some churches are stuck on following a protocol and not allowing the Holy Spirit to have free reign. On the other hand you can't imitate the way that He is moving in another person’s life, in a church or in a ministry and expect the results that they are getting. The Holy Spirit is multi faceted, multi dimensional as well as multi tasked and has a variety of extraordinary surprises waiting to be released in your midst.  Let go of your programs and your traditions and you will see Him move in a fresh new way in your lives and ministries.

Jeremiah 32: 17
Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
