Recently i googled myself "in quotes", you must do your name in quotes to get the most accurate results....and i found way buried deep deep in the ether pages that referenced me in JAPANESE!
A client must have posted something, and then also had a handout of mine on GROWLING & AGGRESSION translated into Japanese!
TOO funny, when i hit the 'translate' button to translate it back to see which handout it was....i couldn't tell initially......THIS is what I got! I'm practically wetting my pants it's so funny...

I've seen TOOOOOOO much.....


On jan 5th the FDA approved a drug to fight 'canine obesity' or rather....FEEDING your DOG too much, and wondering why he's fat....

If its not a thyroid condition, pregnancy or too little exercise [ canine sedentary syndrome?]
Then you are JUST FEEDING him TOO Much..or the WRONG STUFF...

lowering the amount of food you give your pup while providing stimulating food delivering chew toys can help assuage 'working mommy' guilt...don't overfeed to do it ...your dog will be unhealthy and you'll lose him at a premature age...Skinny dogs live longer and suffer less degenerative hip and knee problems...

ok, so a couple of cool SHOPPING items, and then on to what i've been up to...[ sincerely not blogging, but i'm tryin again]

so here's an example of maybe the cutest dog bed i've seen in a while.. i guess i spoil my dog with 'stuff' and myself with 'stuff' as well..but i AM PICKY...

Ever since i lived in california, i've been a huge fan of recycle/re-use...





with that in mind kiddos...plan your escape plan for you and your pets...global warming is upon us as evidenced by the 80 degree winters we're having here on the e.coast...
MY escape plan consists of
[ ps. stop me if you've heard this apocalypse before]
1. triple hull katamaran [ stable and uses no gas!] good for escape when your home becomes a flood plain.
2. bio-diesel motorcycle [ good for getting around once you get to where you need to be...hopefully somewhere near an abandoned mcDonalds where you can pick up extra grease...cheap or free.
3. i haven't gotten beyond 2 before I'm frozen with fear and overtaken with an urge to hoard gold and vegetable seeds...

I've been without my own dog for several months now. I've been swamped with work and a foster dog and some board and train dogs. Well, mia my foster found a fantastic home "upstate", well, syracuse, that's not considered UPSTATE..or is it..i dunno...westchester is upstate TO ME..
So, i'm missing her [my dog ] terribly and my mom is deeply smitten with her now...in addition to HER OTHER TWO DOGS...
It's tempting to leave her and get another...but I JUST LOVE HER TOO MUCH, even though she's naughty...she smells so good, no other dog could smell as good...naturally.
I've had time now to amass all the weird dog stuff folks send me into a cohesive lot, so here t'is.
