Current mood:  fabulous
That's right our new CD, "multitude, solitude", is now available online at iTunes.

However, if you prefer a more encompassing sensory experience the CD itself is filled with beautiful art photography and session photos by Anne-Claire Rohe, as well as liner notes by media theorist Barry Vacker, probing the question of individuality and thought amidst today's ever expanding universe of information, media, hyperbole and propaganda.

The CD is available through Cuneiform Records webstore and many other outlets.  There is a special deal at our website www.ergoisaband.com to buy both "multitude, solitude" and our first CD, "Quality Anatmechancial Music Since 2005", for just $22 including shipping.

Thanks again for participating in our unabashed shilling.

This month alone I got to see Loren Conners at the Stone, a new Arvo Part symphony premiere, Bonnie Prince Billy at the Apollo, and a secret Alva Noto/Byetone show at E-flux gallery.  You can't get that anywhere else.

"The man who believes that the secrets of the world are forever hidden lives in mystery and fear. Supersition will drag him down.  The rain will erode the deeds of his life.  But that man who sets himself the task of singling out the thread of order from the tapestry will by the decision alone have taken charge of the world and it is only by such taking charge that he will effect a way to dictate the terms of his own fate.
I don't see what that has to do with catchin birds.
The freedom of birds is an insult to me.  I'd have them all in zoos."
-from Blood Meridian, by Cormac McCarthy

I've contributed music to a documentary by lawyer and writer Ari Kaplan about lawyers working on both sides of issues associated with detainees at Guantanamo Bay. The film is called "Like Snowflakes in December" after Donald Rumsfeld described the image of the US military leaflets (offering bounties for suspected terrorists) dropped over Afghanistan in 2001 as "like snowflakes in December in Chicago." Check out the trailer and read more at likesnowflakes.com.

The music is a demo version of our song "She Haunts Me", which will be on the next Ergo recording.
