This painting is so much fun for me... it combines some of my favorite things: a frankenstein theme, stitches, a curvy girl, tattoos & a skimpy latex outfit.
I thought you might like to see some photos of my progress so far:
First, the idea sketch from a couple of weeks ago. The model is Bianca.
Next, I decide it needs to be bigger.... the painting will be 15x20" on illustration board.
Here I am, working with the pencils:

After I'm done with the pencils I spray the image with a bit of fixative & add some washes of black acrylic paint with a brush:
Time for color! :) I get out the airbrush & go to town on the bright green frankenskin:
Then I use erasers to add some highlights to the skin:
One last image, of the current state of the painting:
Next I will be painting the latex outfit & then the background.
