The 2009-2010 Princeton Marching Tiger Band,under the direction of Mr. Jon Hyneman, has commissioned composer Virgil Franklin to channel the twisted mind of literary giant Edgar Allen Poe this season.

Virgil will be composing the music for the Tiger Band's ISSMA field show, working title "A Midnight Dreary", based on three of Poe’s most sinister works; "The Bells", "Annabel Lee", and "Tell-Tale Heart"

Virgil is looking forward to hearing and seeing his three-movement nightmare brought to life this fall!!
