PS - I was going to call the blog posting "Two New Songs" but then I realized the songs themselves aren't "new" per se... I've been performing these songs for a while now (or at least, I performed them back when I was doing live gigs) and finally got around to getting them on tape.

Hey all,

Just posted a new demo… some of you have heard this one live.  It was recorded in GarageBand (affectionately referred to as "GarbageBand" by Chrid) using only the built-in mic on my powerbook, so please excuse the crappy sound quality :)

Hey all,

First off, thanks to all who came to the Parkside Lounge show last week... It was a really fun show.  I hope you guys had as good a time as I did :)

Also, as I had mentioned before, I'm planning on taking a little bit of a break to write some new material and (god willing) get back into the studio to record some new material.  I'll be playing a few shows here and there, but mostly outside of NYC.  I'm planning on getting back to it around the beginning of 2007... So keep in touch and keep updated by signing up on my mailing list!  Check out the signup box on my homepage or on my myspace page...

Greetings from Down Under! I hope everyone has been having a good summer so far... I have been having a fantastic time here in Australia and will be returning to the States soon... But I won't have a whole lot of time to sit around, because I've got a bunch of gigs scheduled for the upcoming months! Hey all,

Okay, so it's been quite a while since I've written up anything for this blog-o-mine. But I do have some updates for ya'll... I've got some fun shows lined up for the next couple of months, not to mention a little 5-week jaunt to SYDNEY and SEOUL (for fun/school, tho... not business!).

Anyhow, I'll be playing a show at Kenny's Castaway's on June 20th (the night before I fly out) with Cynthia Lin, whom I met through the FKB back in 2004 (i think?) when we drove down to DC to play a gig with her.

Then when I get back, I just scheduled a show on Aug. 10th (location TBA) at which I'll be playing with Isul Kim, who's coming out here from the West Coast to do a couple of shows in her hometown of NYC!

AND, as per usual, I'll be making appearances at the Teabag down in Chinatown on June 14th, Aug. 9th and Aug. 25th!

I hope to see ya'll at the shows!!

I just wanted to give a shoutout to Wiejie and the rest of the C-Sharp crew for having me up at Harvard this weekend. The performance was a lot of fun... especially the clapping along! Anyhow, I hope to get back to Havard soon... FKB performed there numerous times, always to a very appreciative audience.

Also, I just got an interview/review in Asia Pacific Arts. Read it here.
