I have always been interested and involved with the environment. Particularly with Nature, that maintains us in contact with our inner self, and make us conscious of being part of the Whole.
The respect I feel for it, pushes me to maintaining it as it is, preserving it. It brings me ideas to reuse things that, in theory, are useless.
In most of my works I use materials found in the Nature. I am very cautious in using wood that comes from controlled areas under the authorization of responsible organizations working on environmental issues. I am concerned about how necessary the balance in the forests is for the life of species, not merely human. This is the key to bring us to harmony and well-being in our ecosystem.
I feel close, and also thankfull, to this Nature that I enjoy in my quiet moments. My dearest desire is to extend it to all environments and spaces in which, somehow, I participate.
