We've had a lot of comments about how the main EYEBORGS page (www.eyeborgs.com) has been, shall we say, a bit "lite" on content.  There was the 30-second teaser trailer -- and that was about it.

We are now beginning to revise that with some links to other EYEBORGS stuff -- including this Blog and MySpace page!

We plan to add a lot of content soon, including new and extended trailer, as well as some stills and even clips from the movie, finally giving those of you who couldn't make our screenings a chance to see at least a piece of what all the excitement has been about.

A common question among those who've seen the film has been "When will this hit theaters so we can see it again and bring friends," which is of course the best question a filmmaker could want to hear, and the follow up, "When will the DVD be out so we can buy it?"

The answer is -- I can't tell you yet, but we are in the process and things are looking very positive.

My hope is to have something exciting to tell you all in a few weeks time.

Stay tuned and keep blogging!

This past 30 days have seen us screening Eyeborgs for audiences and distributors in Los Angeles, London, Winston-Salem (hometown!) and two screenings at the CANNES film market.  The response has been tremendous with strong reviews and enthusiastic responses across the board.

In LOS ANGELES we screened Eyeborgs twice for the Highlander World Wide Conference, where we heard wonderful feedback from Adrian Paul’s many dedicated fans.  The film was received enthusiastically and personal comments to us seem to agree that Adrian was fantastic in the leading role of DHS Agent Gunner, something we’re very thrilled about.  Thank you all for coming out and sharing your feelings about the film with us directly and online through your various blogs, e-mails and discussion boards.  We really appreciate it.  Please continue to spread the word.

In LONDON Eyeborgs had the extreme honor of being the opening night event film for Sci-Fi London (www.sci-fi-london.com), more formally known as The London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film.  Louis Savy and his team did a fantastic job arranging a high quality, full resolution HD screening, followed by a Q&A that included cast members Adrian Paul, Megan Blake, Luke Eberl and John Rushton (also the film’s producer) along with Director and Co-Writer Richard Clabaugh.

The questions were intelligent and insightful, leaving us all feeling proud that the audience had responded so positively to what we’d done.  We had the unexpected opportunity to repeat the screening when one of the scheduled films was unable to make it in time and we were asked to fill in with a second showing of Eyeborgs and follow up Q&A.  The second Eyeborgs screening was equally well received and the audience seemed very excited about the film.  Thanks to Louis Savy and his crew and to all who attended and helped make Sci-Fi London such an amazing and successful event for everyone.

In WINSTON-SALEM we screened for the hometown crowd at the Riverrun International Film Festival.  The single, sold out screening was held in the beautiful Main Theater at the School of the Arts.  Our thanks to Andrew Rodgers and all his people for giving us the opportunity to screen and allowing so many of the people involved with the film to see it on the big screen for the first time.

Finally, the crown jewel for Crimson Wolf Productions was having two screenings of Eyeborgs in CANNES, FRANCE as part of the famous Cannes International Film Festival and Market.  The event was a huge success for us and we have received wonderful responses from interested distributors and sales agents representing many major territories.  We are in discussions now and will provide you more information on those opportunities as they finalize.

In short, it has been a great roll-out month for EYEBORGS, with wonderful reviews, enthusiastic and well received screenings and exciting discussions for International Distribution of the film.  We are currently lining up screenings in Los Angeles for select US Distribution Companies and are very optimistic, based on discussions so far, that we will have good news on that front in the weeks ahead.

We want to thank all who’ve helped get the film this far and supported us by playing a part in any of these events and ask you to continue spreading the word about the film.

Thank you all for your support!

What a FANTASTIC NIGHT for EYEBORGS at Sci-Fi-London! (www.sci-fi-london.com) Louis Savy and his crew were so wonderful, arranging for a stealler projection system provided by Digital Projection that just looked amazing!  We couldn't have had a more wonderful venue or audience for this film.

Adrian was there, along with his Mum and other members of his family and he joined the rest of the cast, Megan Blake, Luke Eberl, John Rushton (a Producer of the film as well as a member of the cast) and others for a Q&A following the film.  Also present at the screening were Executive Producer M. Todd Tucker, Producer Charles Peller and Editor and Co-Writer Fran Clabaugh.  The audience really seemed to appreciate the film and all of us were very happy with the way it played.

To top it all off, the next morning saw our first review, and a very oustanding one at that, by Ben Austwick of Quiet Earth, which you can read here:
http://www.quietearth.us/articles/2009/04/29/SFL-09-Review-of-EYEBORGS

We're walking on air!

When you're making a film you hope there is an audience of people out there who will pick up on what you were trying to accomplish, the balance of humor and action and the serious undercurrent of still being about something a little more substantial without ever losing the "fun" of the movie.  Often you feel like a reviewer misses the point you were aiming to accomplish but in this case I feel like he totally got what we were trying to do with the film and we're thrilled he was able to see it with such a warm and appreciateive audience.

Thank you Ben Austwick for being at Sci-Fi-London and saying such kind things about EYEBORGS.

The screening of EYEBORGS was proceeded by a very amusing and clever little animated short film called "The Day the Robots Woke Up" made by Ed Hartwell, which you can see online at www.edhartwell.co.uk/robots if you get a chance.

Crimson Wolf Productions would like to extend a huge thank you to Louis Savy and all the people at Sci-Fi-London for making our world primere such a very special night.

Next stop for EYEBORGS: The Cannes Film Market

Everyone  is incredibly excited about the upcoming screenings.  We're thrilled about the World Premiere in London and the reaction and excitement of the Highlander Worldwide fans has us all really jazzed!  Thank you all for your kind words on the previous blog entry.

Now we're on the final steps of the process.

As I write this it's nearing midnight and I'm sitting in a basement in Hollywood with Kenny Wilson, the film's Director of Photography, and Marc Wielage, an expert colorist who counts among his many credits having worked with George Lucas on the recent HD transfers of STAR WARS, among about 400 other major films.  We're at Technicolor in Hollywood.  This is one of the little known processes every film goes through at the end, color correction for final display.  What's odd about our movie is that we're still getting in visual effects shots as we're doing this, and will be up to the last minute, but the film is looking good, the effects are looking great, Adiran Paul is amazing, as is the rest of the cast and the robots are looking, quite literally, killer.

I wanted to thank all the fans who've posted such nice things recently about the film   We can't express how much we appreciate your support and how much we think you're really going to love this movie when you see it.

Keep watchin here for updates.  Counting the days now to our public showings.

We are thrilled and excited to announce that EYEBORGS will be holding its WORLD PREMIERE SCREENING on Wednesday, April 29th, 2009, at the Apollo Cinema, Piccadilly Circus, as the Opening Night event of The London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film, more commonly known as SciFi London.

Adrian Paul, star of EYEBORGS, is scheduled to be present at the event.

Also appearing will be producer and co-star John Rushton and Director Richard Clabaugh.  As of this writing we know of other members of the cast and production team who are planning to attend as well and we will be announcing their participation as final schedules and availabilities are confirmed.

Speaking in a most unprofessionally way now, I just want to say how much we think it is so freaking AWESOME to be doing our world premiere at such a super cool event in front of an audience of dedicated science fiction fans that  can really appreciate the kind of film we've worked so hard to make here!  The UK has been the source of some of the best SF out there in recent years and we couldn't ask for a greater place to be introducing our movie to the world then at SciFi London!  We are honored to be invited to be part of it.

I hope all of you who can attend will attend!  For tickets contact the SciFi London people via the information on their website at: www.sci-fi-london.com

Hope to see as many of you there as possible!  This will be an event not to miss!

Great stuff is happening.

We're rolling along here and getting very close to announcing some big things, including some sneak preview dates where we will be screening the film in a few major cities and at a couple key fan events for a select audience to help spread the word.

More and more of the final effects shots are rolling in every day but EYEBORGS remains a very BIG little movie.  The number of effects exceeds that in the first "TRANSFORMERS" movie and we're fighting to keep them of the highest possible quality while doing them on a fraction of the budget.  It's a huge undertaking and it takes time and talented individuals committed to quality, but we think we've got them and that everyone is going to be blown away when they see what our visual effects people have created.

Watch this space!  In the next month we hope to have some announcements of some things everyone's been waiting to hear!

You've all been patient, now stay tuned, this ride is about to get very exciting!
