hey everyone, firstly we'd like to thank you all for supporting the Toolroom Records release of 'music matters'. With your help we sat at the top of the Beatport chart for 5 weeks and also hit the number 1 spot of the highly regarded Buzz Chart. However if you did fail to get this amazing mix from house stalwart Mark Knight then you can now pick it up from iTunes. It's been a pleasure returning to dominate the dancefloor and we're sure you're aware that it won't be the last time. until next time Faithless x

Hi There,

Just in case this news may have passed you by we thought we'd let you know that we've joined forces with Toolroom records to bring you a one off remix of ‘Music Matters’. Label head honcho Mark Knight is the man behind the mix that is currently setting club land alight and subsequently topping the Beatport chart. DJ support comes from such luminaries as Pete Tong, Armin Van Buren and Tiesto no less. The icing on the cake comes from the somewhat legendary Goldie who has exclusively created the artwork.

The Hide will be screened on 16.02.09 at 11pm on Film4 and 12am on Film4+1. This will be the UK TV premiere!

Film4 is available for free on Freeview and all satellite and cable services.

Hey,
We released 'To All New Arrivals' in the US on Monday – The version exclusive to Itunes US and includes bonus content.

The new website is nearly complete and there will be some different bonus mixes and images available for everyone - we'll let you know when it's launched

And for anyone that didn't know
We have won Best Dance Act 2007 as voted by the public in the UK Festival Awards. The Award was for our show at the  02 Wireless Festival on the 14th June.  It was a big highlight of our world tour this year as it was Maxi's birthday and a great audience.

With live dance groups and DJs both featuring heavily on festival bills this year, the genre is as banging as it's ever been and competition was tough. Other Nominees included Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers, Mark Ronson, Justice, Simian Mobile Disco, Groove Armada, LCD Sound system, DJ Yoda and Basement Jaxx.

We just wanted to say thank you to everyone that voted for us

Peace

Greetings from chilly latvia! We wanted to let you know that we are currently redesigning our website – we will mail you once it's finished.
Its been a mad couple of weeks so far - we started the final leg of the tour with 2 rocking shows in London- both to prepare for our very first stadium show- and both very
different in scale. First was an intimate one at shepherds bush, which was a real treat for
band and fans alike- we did a bit of an exhaustive trawl through some
old numbers that have been gathering dust in the vaults, and had a few
setlist changes to keep us on our toes. After a long summer playing the
festivals, it was nice to get really stuck in  and play for longer than
the standard  hour to hour and a half we've been regimented to. The set
almost reached Prince-like proportions by the second night in Brixton,
so we had to cut a couple of numbers otherwise we would have got slapped
with a very heavy fine from the council!  Other than than it was a truly
fantastic night- which definitely  reached boiling point for the crowd-
it felt like the loudest and hottest Brixton ever- some of the
incredible new production and lightshow producing mass gasping and
fainting fits! It was pretty intense doing a rehearsal for a  stadium
show in a very un- stadium like venue, but was great to hear that people
were blown away by it all, especially as a lot of fans have seen us many
many times there.
We headed back out to Europe to play festivals in Madrid and Barcelona-
great weather and vibes at both but the set-time of 3am was a tough one,
even with all the years of raving practice! Next was Antwerp's fabulous
Sportspaleis where we have played before to the Belgian faithful- it was
fantastic seeing all the new lights and screens in place and knowing
that we were going to have a really special show on our own terms. Even
though many had seen us headlining Werchter this summer, people seemed
to really appreciate we were trying to do something a little different
visually and musically. In that context it felt like the 2 hour show had
space to breathe and took on an almost Pink Floyd- like flavour. So, off
we went to Arnhem, after a great day off in Amsterdam, to play the
biggest show yet- the difference between playing to 18 000 people, to 22
000 was palpable- the venue was properly wide- and all our 6 trucks
worth of massive screens, lighting rigs and PA system looked tiny in
there! Even so, it was another great night, which gave us a taste of
things to come ( I hope!) and the Dutch crowd were amazing ( and tall)
as always.
We visited Scandinavia next- playing storming club shows in Copenhagen
and Oslo, who were the very first countries to embrace Faithless in the
very beginning- it was very nostalgic for us, despite the rain, and we
resolved not to leave it so long to visit again. Now we are in Riga- a
beautiful Baltic city with a very interesting history, and very cheap
beer! Its another arena show tonight, so we're really hoping the Latvian
crowd enjoy the Faithless experience- especially as its our first time
here.... so wherever you are we hope we will see some of you tonight, or
at  any of the 3 remaining shows to come!
Bring your dancing shoes...... love, as always x Faithless

Also will be putting up 2 new remixes of the track 'A Kind Of Peace' on our myspace player shortly – we will let you know once they are up.
