Costco has decided not to order additional inventory on products distributed by Coca-Cola, until the matter is resolved. My family needs Coke. It looks like I'll have to renew my Sam's Club membership.

In my previous question about my disappointment with Tiger Woods, more than 70% of the people didn't agree with me. The horror! :) It seems that many people still have sympathy for Tiger, despite his admitted cheating on his wife with a cocktail hostess.

At 2:30am after Thanksgiving, Tiger Woods crashed his car into a tree and fire hydrant. Tiger said that his wife saved him by breaking the windows of his Cadillac Escalade with a golf club. His Nov 29 statement claims full responsibility for the accident. 

On December 2, Tiger releases this statement: 
I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect.
That contradicts his Nov 29 statement about " false, unfounded and malicious rumors" about his marital infidelity. It also now seems that he didn't cause the accident himself. 

Tiger could have told the truth or kept his mouth shut -- but he lied. He lied to his wife, his fans and possibly the police. When anyone breaks the trust of so many people, he lets them down. Tiger has really let me down. 

Tiger puts his name on products -- and he earns hundreds millions of dollars for endorsements and as the highest paid athlete in 2008. When he endorses a product, he sells his name, his integrity and credentials for public consumption. 

Tiger misplayed this round, and lost me as his fan.
