Current mood: dorky
I started shaping out the shinguards (the easiest piece, IMO) using a heavy duty matboard and glue. This will provide a surface for the fiberglass to stick and shape to. I am following some recommendations from another website regarding shaping, filling, etc. Class interupted my work, so off I went to school. Thats all for today.

Well, this is my first blog on MySpace. Yeay! Anyway, its almost summer, and as usual I will be doing a Summer Project. So here it is: I will be constructing a Fiberglass COG suit from Gears of War with built in LED lights, an ipod input for frontal speakers, and some cooling fans. I will also be making a completely operational Lancer Rifle. See the pics for models. If the armor turns out well, I will likely post a guide to build your own. If you have any constructive comments, feel free to leave them. Other wise, thanks for looking, more will come later.
