It's the story of:
1. A group of US soldiers on a guerrilla warfare suicide mission so sadisticly awesome that it makes you wonder how much more fun Apocalyspe Now would have given Marlon Brando's character and his crew more screen time and juicier dialogue.

2. A little girl with with a thirst for revenge and and aim to use a movie theater as a deadly weapon.

3. A Nazi Captain, so gleefully evil, he makes Hitler look like a boring mess.

I won't spoil the movie for you, but I will say that it features an ending unlike any I've seen or ever thought I'd see in any WWII movie ever.

In closing, not only is Inglorious Basterds hands down the greatest and most glorious movie about WWII ever, ever.... I will be severely disappointed in any other WWII movie I see from now on that doesn't include Lt. Aldo Raine as a featured character.

Sound good?!

True to form, I've put "The Grey Apes of Wrath" on the backburner to start working on a new script about a screwball romance starting in the backdrop of an espionage cat and mouse chase.  And once I got that new script outlined and treatmented out, true to form, I put that on the backburner and I am now outlining out a new flic that I am tentatively calling "The Housing Chilling."

This third script is about a housewarming party that goes terribly wrong when a killer starts dispatching the guests one by one.  It's going to be like 1,000 other movies you've seen before, except cooler because this one will be written and directed by ME!

I planning on shooting this in the few days I'll be spending in San Fran, crashing at Yvie's place later this month.  Right now Yvie is putting together all the pieces in place for the shoot, while I'm furiously cranking out a script in the spare moments I can muster between packing for the big far east relocation.

So it's all good homies.  Hope to have it all together for you all to feast upon by the end of winter.

You can also participate yourself for a chance to win a trip to NYC fashion week!

That's right homies! I'm looking to be the head honcho fashionista... and I need your votes.

Vote early and often. The one with the most "IN" votes gets a trip to NYC fashion week.

Holla at your boy and represent on the polls to let these suckas know who's numero uno.

Word!

It's official.  I've decided to try to capitalize on my confusing of the plotlines of The Grapes of Wrath and Gorillas in the Mist and have started work writing out an original story telling the tale that I thought The Grapes of Wrath really should have been about.

The Grey Apes of Wrath... A story about the jungles of Africa and a gaggle of pissed off gorillas.  A tale of passion, of the epic battle between man and beast, of the animalistic instincts inside man, and of the tragic flaws that can cripple even the most invincible man.

Not sure when I'll be done with it, but I plan on making it a truly epic piece of cinema.  I just need to find a forest that looks like a jungle and a bunch of gorilla costumes.

So I decided to go ahead and start updating my profile on my own once again.  Slowly but surely I will turn this profile into the awesomeness I feel it deserves to be, so feel free to check it out periodically and give me any comments you have as to how to make it more awesome.

I will be looking to do the same with the Most Epic TV site (myspace.com/mostepictv) so the same goes that that site too.  Check it out and give us your suggestions...

In other non-related news, I only found out today that "Midnight Express" is not that funny movie with Robert Deniro and Charles Grodin.  It's a movie about a guy getting tortured in a Turkish prison.  No wonder people would give me weird looks when I said "I heard that movie was hilarious, I have to check it out."

Wassup people!

Wow... I can't believe it's been so long since I've felt the need to write a blog.  I guess since the advent of status updates and twitters, I've found ways to limit my daily thoughts down to 140 characters or less.

Needless to say, apologies to my blog readers for my absence.

I come here before you because I'm sure some, if not all of you will be shocked upon visiting my profile as of late.  The story is that I finally came to the conclusion that I had too much crap on my profile (a lot of stuff that was repeated on my facebook page anyway) and decided to get rid of a lot of stuff, including the background.  Only problem is that now my profile looks kind of dull.

I'm looking to give it a new facelift, but I can honestly say that I no longer trust my simple html skills to get me an awesome looking profile.  So I ask of you of your thoughts on how best I should go about finding out how to redesign it.  Let me know.  Cool!

Hope all is well with you and I hope to start posting cool new updates for you all to read.

-Joe
