During the past few years there has been an effort by many to alter the story of Jesus Christ, His life, and how he died. These fictitious alterations have more often been wrong than right, and have confused and bewildered people, thus causing inner conflict and doubt.

I'm going to write about my Jesus, the Jesus that I have grown to love, admire, respect, but never completely comprehend. My Jesus is the only Son of God. Sent here to earth to end the need for the Law of Perfection that the world suffered under until the day He was nailed to the cross. Born of Mary, a virgin, and Joseph, his earthly father, He was not a child of some rabbi or spiritual leader, or of a Roman centurion. Jesus, the child, turned into a man who under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Lord himself, was taught all the knowledge to understand and comprehend His role in the struggle of good over evil, of light over darkness, of love over anger, and of peace over unrest.

If He did travel to India and Tibet to study under great masters, that's fine, but it's not important. If He didn't, that's good as well. If He got caught up in politics and wanted to see Israel free of Roman power, so what? He was a man, He had the power to think, and speak His own thoughts. But none of that really matters. Was he married to Mary Magdalene? Had children, even? Again, that's not an issue that I hang any great importance upon. For what is the greatest expression of being but a man loving a woman and giving life to a child? So if he experienced this, great. If not, then that act of sacrificing a normal family life so that he could serve all of mankind. Did He come up with totally original and new ideas about the world? Some bold, brave, and new kind of thinking? No. Does that make him less a teacher if His message is simply one of love and compassion? Caring for your fellow man? That there can be victory over illness, suffering, and bondage in this very life and in death? That there is the reward of being one with the Father and being reunited with your loved ones? The most excellent truths we can seek are often the old ones. And when He learned what the final act of His earthy life had to be, the betrayal, the trial, the beatings and floggings, carrying His own instrument of death, and finally, hours of suffering, nailed up on the cross. Nails driven through both His hands and feet. With bones broken, organs bruised, blood flowing from countless cuts, He knew what He had been born to do. Not only had He come to give a message to an unlistening world, but also He came to this earth to live and die for all of us.

Just as His last breath left his body, spoke: "Why hast thou forsaken me?" and "Blame them not for what they do for they know not." His blood flowing to the ground to pay a price so we can seek healing and salvation. With His breath gone, His body moved into a tomb, the darkest hours of Christ's life was at hand. There was one final task He had to do. The hardest and most challenging task still lay ahead.

Christ had to descend and stay in hell for 72 hours. Alone, cut off from angels, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord Himself. He had to endure 72 hours of torment. What deepest recesses of hell He must have been cast down into. What manner of demons must have been unleashed upon Him? His spiritual body must have been torn to shreds. The devil, Lucifer and Satan only had 72 hours to force Christ into forsaking His power. Understand that Lucifer has access to the heavens. He knew about Revelation and the final conflict to be played out in Armageddon, and he knew that unless he broke Christ, he was going to lose the battle.

Jesus Christ is and was the ultimate Bodhisattva, (the Sanskrit term Bodhi [enlightenment] and sattva [being], meaning someone who releases all sentient beings from suffering). He had to take on all forms of physical illnesses during those hours on the cross. Every infirmity ever known to man, Christ had to endure. So we could be healed. Think of that, will you? Every form of cancer, every infection, virus, and germ released on his body. Every form of mental illness was unleashed on his mind. Each and every major and minor sin He endured. He had to go to hell and suffer the full might of evil for every single person that had been born, for all times, past, present and future. He paid the price for believers and nonbelievers. This is what grants us the grace of salvation for those who seek it. This is what grants us dominion to cast out demons. If Kirby Robinson's name were used to cast out a demon, the dark forces would laugh, as I have no spiritual authority. But because of the dark hours that Christ spent in hell, He never gave up. He could have, but He didn't. He knew that if HE could not withstand the onslaught of evil, then who could? Not you, nor I, but only Him.

Why is it that more and more people are trying to take Jesus off the cross and turn His works and teachings into myths and lies? His life was led to the fullest for every single person that has and will ever inhabit this planet. Some have been insinuating that His life was part of some wild conspiracy. He used the cross as a means of escape. He snuck out of Israel and lived under an assumed name in another country. A wise man once said that the smartest thing that the devil ever did was to convince people that he did not exist. I say, the smartest thing the devil ever did is convince people that Christ did not pay the ultimate price. He may sell that bill of goods to others, but not to me. I have Christ in my heart, spirit, and mind. My Christ lived for me, my Christ taught for me, my Christ suffered for me, my Christ died for me, my Christ rose for me, and my Christ will be there always for there for me. Will yours?

How can you avoid the need to extract yourself from spiritual bondage in the first place? Don’t make curses that need to be resolved, and refrain from yoking yourself into a lifestyle that requires you to make or receive false covenants. Referred to in Buddhism as "The Noble Eightfold Path" it is called this since it contains eight traits that naturally repel bondage. It’s explained in such a way as to be appropriate for anyone following his or her correct path, no matter what religion/belief.

  1. Correct view – understanding that every action can have a positive or negative effect and you are always striving for those that will result in a positive effect.
  2. Correct intention – developing a mental attitude and goal to achieve the best that can possibly be achieved whether it’s the Buddhist wish for enlightenment or to always help as many people/sentient beings that can be helped.
  3. Correct speech – refraining from cursing, lying, gossip, or general coarse speech. How one speaks is reflective upon their mental state. Truthful, soft-spoken, gentle speech will help cultivate a strong and positive attitude.
  4. Correct action – in Buddhism, it is wrong to kill, steal, commit adultery, lie, and take drugs/alcohol. Then again, this seems to be the case for most other religions/beliefs, too.
  5. Correct livelihood – to refrain from creating negative states of mind, it is important to avoid jobs where lying, killing, stealing, cheating/sexual misconduct, and the use of intoxicants are involved. To earn a proper living, you should love your job and it should help not only yourself, but others.
  6. Correct effort – this is where overcoming negative states of mind such as pride, anger, the need for revenge, and lusting after all manner of material items. It’s better to approach this slowly and gradually, rather than with sudden spurts. The mind is like a monkey, wildly swinging about on tree branches, so this is where patience and reflection is truly needed.
  7. Correct mindfulness – to develop self awareness of what you are doing and why you are doing it will help you develop inner clarity. Become aware of your thoughts and control them.
  8. Correct meditative absorption – this isn’t where you begin; it’s where you are led! By following the previous seven steps, you will naturally attain this ability to concentrate and be fully aware and in the present.

Sadly, many do not live the eightfold path, and have already invoked curses, yokes, and false covenants to be in place in their lives drawing away joy, peace, and happiness, respectively.

There is hope, folks, do not give up! The struggle won’t be easy, but the war can and must be won.

Curses:

  1. Identify the curses and yokes. We all have the power to discern through prayers and meditations those strongholds of darkness that have been planted in our lives through our efforts and the efforts of others.
  2. Once you have identified it, then we must storm the dark house. Just as Jesus Christ said in Matthew 12:39 "How can one enter into a strong man’s house and spoil his goods except he first bind the strong man and then he will spoil his house."
    1. Bind the lead demon. For example, if you discern that the reason for poverty in your life is a curse on your finances, then you invoke, via your source of spiritual authority, that demon of poverty be bound. He is the leader and may be the only one involved in administrating this curse. If not, then you have cut that demon out of the power structure; he is mute, unable to hear, unable to act.
    2. Once you have bound the lead demon, often lesser demons will flee the scene. No matter what your spiritual path is, use a set of prayer beads and chant 108 times the steps listed below. You have to be seeing it happen in your mind, feeling it true in your heart, and know you have won when you’re done. You have to say these chants in order; each one is done 108 times.

1.      "Satan and his dark forces, you are not welcome here in my life anymore."

2.      "Any curse placed on my (insert problem such as finances, home, relationships, health, etc.) is broken."

3.      "Yokes placed on my life are lifted, are gone, and will stay gone."

c. Now you have broken the curse and you have lifted the yoke of that curse. The last step is a requirement to chant the following: "Bound demon of (insert problem such as finances, home, relationships, health, etc.) you are gone, be gone, stay gone." As you do, focus in your mind, that each time you say the above, envision the demon going further and further away from you. By the time you reach the 108th chant, it is nonexistent.

The above is effective for both curses that you have placed on "self" and for those who have been placed on you by others. One emotion to avoid is the sense of anger that will come over you when you flush the curses and break the yokes. Don’t get caught up in it. You’re starting fresh, feel the love and compassion and be in the moment and don’t focus on the suffering that you’ve endured in the past.

False covenants:

As to the false covenants that you have made, this is one tough mountain to climb. Often, false covenants have consumed large amounts of time, effort, energy, income, love, hope, preserving, maintaining, and fostering the second party in the covenant. A lot of times, we find it difficult to give up on that object. Because it’s what we have deluded ourselves into thinking would bring us happiness. But that is a lie. The only happiness that we can have is that happiness which we find inside ourselves. Far too often we refuse to realize that and we think: "If he/she leaves, I’ll die." "If I don’t keep this job I’ll just have to end it." And in reality, if he/she leaves, life continues. Lose that job, there’s always another one. False covenants like those are fairly easy to deal with. Tibetans have a saying, "Change your mind, and the body will follow." It can also be said, "Change your mind, then your life will follow."

False covenants made with demons/dark forces to get a reward in exchange for something, i.e. my soul or my life. Folks, here’s a newsflash -- they are not legally or spiritually binding. Demons are fallen angels. They do not have any innate authority over you, unless you hand it over to them. Dark spirits have even less, so the covenant is invalid and cannot be enforced. The only one that can enforce it is you. You’re the one feeling obligated that you must allow the demon to take from you. And here are the steps for nullifying from existence this type of false covenant.

  1. You must seek spiritual protection from whatever spiritual path you’re on.
  2. Once that is done you need to give up the object that you have bargained for.
  3. You must bind the demon that has been assigned to you to collect that debt.
  4. Renounce publicly that you no longer intend to be bound by that covenant. This can be done in front of your church, spiritual teacher, or family/friends.
  5. Chanting 108 times:
    1. "The covenant I made with the Devil, Lucifer, Satan, and his cohorts no longer exists. It no longer is valid and no longer has power over me."
    2. "I enter into a new covenant with (insert the spiritual path you are on: Jesus Christ, Buddha, Krishna, Great Spirit, Allah, whoever your spiritual master is)."
    3. "My soul does not belong to the Devil."
    4. "My soul does not belong to Lucifer."
    5. "My soul does not belong to Satan."
    6. "My soul no longer belongs to any demon."
    7. "My soul is free."

This round of chants may need to be repeated more than once.

Now you have the tools to banish all courses, yokes and false covenants that have been tormenting and troubling your life. Remember, life doesn’t have to be filled with confusion, suffering, and unhappiness. Live your life full of freedom, love, and compassion and independence from all curses.

Update: I have posted this blog in the past and will more than likely repost it as the date of December 21, 2012 draws near. And this is the reason – the following 4 examples of the latest 2012 madness:

1 ~ NASA came out last week stating that nothing is going to happen, that all this teaching about Planet X coming close to earth, or even hitting it, is just bad science fiction.

2 ~ Sony Pictures latest movie “2012” is a special effects extravaganza brought to you by the director of “The Day After Tomorrow” and “Independence Day”. “2012” is complete with man moving to a new planet after the earth is destroyed. It is a much higher budget remake of a film from 1950s called “When Worlds Collide” which may have been the source for many of the 2012 wackos that are out there.

3 ~ On a TV show called “Divorce Court” a young couple was going their separate ways due to the fact that hubby felt that there was no reason to put any effort into the relationship. Why? Because the world was going to end on, you guessed it, December 21, 2012. Even after the judge interviewed an expert about the claims that many are making: solar flares, worlds colliding, etc. and the expert disproved all of these, the hubby still felt that the world was going to end. When the judge asked the husband why not just sign over all his property to the soon-to-be-ex wife, hubby said no that it would be wise he hold it till the end of time.

4 ~ More Christian ministers are embracing 2012 as part of the End Times, especially the ones who said that the End Times would happen 50 years after the creation of Israel as a nation. The 50 years has passed, still no End Times, so the pastors are now stating that the End Times will happen in 2012.

I’m sure there will be even more wackiness as the date draws near. Below is the original blog about 2012 and what is supposed to happen.

I'm sure that most of you know about December 21, 2012 and all the speculation as to what will happen on that date. The dozens of books, thousands of web sites, and countless conferences where you can spend up to $200 hearing speaker after speaker pronouncing the forthcoming doomsday, are all warning us about some very big changes. After attending that seminar, you can visit the lobby filled with profiteering vendors offering every imaginable type of survival kit on earth, as well as survival kits that will prepare you to survive in the spiritual realm.

For those of you living under a rock, or watching the endless hours of scripted reality shows, I will briefly catch you up on the whole controversy. On December 21, 2012, the Mayan calendar comes to an end, as well as numerous other religious cycles come to a conclusion. The planets align in a very peculiar manner and December 21st is Winter Solstice. Numerous psychics, scientists, and new agers, predict catastrophic changes, in not only the planet, but also the universe and throughout the spiritual realms. We also face a society that could break into chaos and bloodshed. Alarmed yet? So was I when my spirit guides showed me what will happen.

On the dreaded morning of December 21st, striking Australia first, the ocean waters will begin to rise, and as the water pulls away, the land bridge that at one time connected Australia and its nearby islands will begin to reemerge. When the land bridge thrusts out of the ocean, it reconnects to the Asian continent. The heaving and swelling tsunamis that embroil the Pacific Ocean casts boats, ships, ocean liners, and oil tankers into the air, and mass destruction will follow.

In China, there will be major earthquakes so strong that dams will break, cities will flood, and nuclear power plants will break open releasing toxic gas. The Chinese military assures the populace that the nation is under attack, and will launch missiles at both Japan and Russia, eliminating Japan off the face of the earth. As missiles rain down onto Eastern Russia, the problems will be compounded by large landmasses in Siberia breaking apart and massive steam vents erupting, which will melt the frozen tundra, causing massive flooding.

India will see colossal earthquakes and volcanoes rising out of the earth in a few seconds. Millions will die as mass rioting and stampedes of whole populations flee. The Middle East finally goes through an all out nuclear war. Israel and the Arab Nations will unleash a nuclear holocaust so great that the entire section of that area will be under a nuclear cloud. The Great Pyramids of Giza will turn to dust, and the mighty Sphinx will be no more. Earthquakes will work their way down to South Africa, unleashing locusts buried so long they are the size of eagles, and they begin attacking the population. Europe will pull apart from Asia and within hours smash into the British Isles. In the Americas, from the tip of Canada to the bottom of South America, it will be utter mayhem on a scale never before witnessed by mankind.

No, folks, wait a minute, I can't take it any longer. I must tell you the truth of what will happen on December 21, 2012. No chaos will hit society in any form whatsoever. Nothing out of the natural will happen outside of normal every day events. People doing their Christmas shopping, going to work, playing in the snow, and living their lives. So please, for your sake, save your money. Say no to those overpriced doomsday books, pass on those all day conferences filled with authors that are preying on our fears and spinning tales of insanity and madness in order to increase their bank accounts. Tell those fear mongers who put together lousy end-of-the-world videos to get lost. Remember how we were told over and over again that the harmonic convergence meant the end of the world? Y2K was supposed to be the end of all mankind, and that 9/11 was the start of the End Times. What horrific events happened on 6/06/06? Oh, and to go back in time, wasn't the world supposed to end in 1958? In fact, check out this helpful site, The Library of Date Setters for the End of the World, where they list more than 200 doomsday predictions! And yet, we are still here. And life goes on. Yes, one day the end will come. And catastrophes will strike the planet. Someday, but not in 2012, or 12/21/21. (Wanna bet a few will claim it was all due to some sort of spiritual dyslexia?) Not even 12/21/75. Spend the next three years of your life spreading love and compassion, and set your spirits free from the fear of what will happen on December 21, 2012.

I did this blog sometime ago and my opinion on what will take place has not changed in any way. The world will not shake, the ground will not rumble. Things will be just the same as always. That being said, the doomsday sayers, those who sell the notion that death and destruction will sweep upon us on December 21, 2012 have not slowed down their wild tales. Even better, they have now been joined by many within mainstream Christian churches who have been teaching that we are in the End Times. In reality, nothing has happened to date.

It’s all a way for them to sell more books, DVDs, survival kits, conferences, etc. for 3 more years until 2012 then they will have to come up with more reasons why the Rapture has yet to take place.

I’m tired of good people being conned into spending their hard earned money by these people, so I have come up with an idea:

“The 2012 Money Back Guarantee Challenge”

How does it work? Simple! Next time you come across one of these people who are selling doom and gloom for 2012 whether it’s a book, CD, survival kit or a conference tell them to put up or shut up. They need to give you a 100% promise that when December 22, 2012 comes around, if things are still standing, you get your money back. But they will never do this. Why? Cashing in on the fears of December 21, 2012 is just another replacement for snake oil.

I would like to focus on psychics when you need to talk to one. How do you find one that is reputable? Let me share with you why this is such an important issue with me

I spent many months working for the Miss Cleo psychic line, known as the Psychic Readers Network. I was gathering information to use against them due to a dear friend whose life was destroyed by the Psychic Readers Network and Dionne Warwick, a celebrity co-owner and spokesperson for the company. I had found out that many of the behind the scenes individuals were responsible for the emergence and marketing of the Miss Cleo line. It should be noted that Miss Cleo, whose real name is Youree Dell Harris, was not from Jamaica, nor was she even of Jamaican descent; she was born and raised in Inglewood, California. More information can be found here: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news02/cleo_settle.html

So I applied for and got a job on the line working out of a call center in an industrial park in Canoga Park in the San Fernando Valley. The application consisted of the manager asking me, "Do you want a job?" And the reply was, "Yes." No paper application, no driver's license and social security number, and no drug test! There was only one test issued to determine if I was a real tarot card reader. What was it? To read the phrases at the end of one of the basic starter tarot decks. It was a basic literacy test -- it was that plain and simple.

We were placed on the phones with the expectation that each call was to last at least 16 minutes. 99.99% of the people there were neither psychic, tarot card readers, or had any spiritual gift whatsoever. The vast majority was recruited out of sober living homes, half way houses for people getting out of prison, and the homeless. They even recruited people directly from the welfare offices with promises that they could work, get paid under the table, and still keep their benefits.

Every day I went in for my 8-hour shift, I started on days, then when to the overnight hours. I had 3 decks of my own tarot cards, my crystal ball, Runes, and pads of paper to do numerology. The rest of the employees, if they were lucky, had 3-7 cards out of a 78-card deck to work with and they would just read from the cards and attempt to make conversation.

As the Miss Cleo line hype grew, so did the demands on the workers. Management was no longer happy with 16 minute long calls, they wanted at least 60 minute calls -- or longer. Now, please remember, naive customers were paying $5.00 per minute for this, which equals $300 per hour. And I remember one employee kept a clearly mentally disturbed woman on the line for 5 hours through the use of her credit card, ripping her off to the tune of $1,500. (The employees also derisively referred to their clientele as saps, fools, and other impolite terms.) So what were the tools that they used to do this? We were told to tell people the call was free, have phone sex with the callers, tell them they are cursed, and you are the only one that can remove it. For those who could read, they even started to bring in some of the better-known tarot card books and employees would read directly from the books.

In time, employees started to bring in wireless remote headsets so they didn't have to stay at their stations, which were 3-foot long desks with cardboard partitions on each side for "privacy." They could now go to the bathroom and take care of their drug addiction needs, by shooting up. They could go out and get high, clean their cars in the parking lot, or read the newspaper.

I even had the call center manager, Mike, convinced that I was such a good pal, plus the fact that he got a lot of 60 minute calls out of me, I got to sit in on a conference call that was held with the owners and Sylvia Brown. She basically said in her reading for the company, that the future looked bright, it was protected from any attacks, and that there were no spies working inside the company. Looks like she was 0 for 3!

Finally, they were shut down and I shared all my information with the proper government authorities. There was a lot more that happened and maybe one day I'll put it into a book.

All that being written, why did I share this story with you? It was in hopes for you to see why I value integrity so much, in both the paranormal and the psychic fields.

When should you see a psychic? Only when you need some insight and clarity on issues in your life. Never see a psychic to have them solve your life's problems. They can't. No more than any psychologist or therapist can. They can simply offer some insight, guidance, and perspective on issues but they CAN'T SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS! If you go to one that says they can, run to the nearest exit.

Also, never become dependent on a particular psychic. I know people who see their psychics 1-2 times per month. That's far too often. Once or twice a year is fine, more than that, you're developing dependency issues where you can't do anything unless you talk to your psychic first. It reminds me of a time when I was at a new age convention back in the late 80s, where I overheard a lady say, "I don't even go to the bathroom unless my spirit guide tells me to."

Here are some things to consider when it comes time to find a reputable psychic.

1.  When setting the appointment, have someone else make the call for you. Give the psychic as few details as possible about you, so they can't pick up anything from your voice or you don't let anything slip as it pertains to what the reading is for.

2.   Find out their prices. If they don't have a set price, that's a warning sign. If they offer additional services, find out what those prices are, as well.

3.   If a psychic says he or she can't finish your reading in 1 visit, or come back, I'll have more clarity, or tell you to come back often, this is a bad sign.

4.   If they tell you not to tell anyone about the reading, or what you're paying, be suspicious.

5.   If they try to tell you that, due to the complexity or depth of the reading they need more money, refuse to pay.

6.   If they tell you that their readings are 100% guaranteed you're 100% guaranteed never to see your money back if it turns out that they're less than 100% accurate. (No psychic or tarot card reader is 100% accurate).

7.   If they tell you that you have a curse and they demand extra money to remove it, refuse to pay. Removal of curses should be included in the reading fee.

8.   If they request money to pray or light candles, that's another rip off. Your minister will do that for free.

9.   If they try to sell you a candle or oils for an outrageous price. I know of a nationally known psychic who sells specially anointed candles for $100 to $400. I know where she gets the candles from; they're $5 each, and the oils that she claims to dribble on them cost less than a buck!

10. If they tell you not to take notes or make a recording, than walk away. What they are hoping for is that you won't remember what is being said.

11.  Ask the psychic for references.

12.  Do your homework at this www.badpsychics.com

13. Find out if they are a reader or are they a psychic. It does not take any type of special gift, other than literacy, to read tarot cards. Anyone can learn to do that; you can do it for yourself if you learn to manage your ego. If they are truly psychic, the tarot cards will simply be a guide for the duration of the reading.

14. When you arrive for your reading, is it in a safe and quiet environment?

15.  Does the psychic spend more time talking about him/herself than they talk about you?

16. When it comes to phone or internet readings, avoid them. One of the great things that takes place in a reading is when you can actually see the reader doing their thing and interact with them. Because when it's done online or on the phone, are you getting their full attention?

17. Don't spend big bucks by getting a reading from a "celebrity" or "nationally known" psychic. They are not any better or any more talented than your average psychic. It's just that they have a marketable personality and a public relations team that gets them out there. And to be absolutely honest, and I know I'm really going to catch some flack with this statement, but it's been my personal experience, that the bigger the celebrity status for the psychic, the less talented they are.

18. When it comes to either written or verbal disclaimers, if they have disclaimer after disclaimer then simply walk away. Yes, I do understand that in some areas it's illegal to read, except for entertainment purposes only. They should advise you to see a medical doctor for health issues, and a lawyer for legal problem. But I've seen some web pages where the psychic disclaimer simply goes on and on and on!

Now if you've already gotten a bad reading and feel that you were ripped off, don't tell yourself that there's nothing that you can do. That's what they're hoping you'll think. Here are some ways to get a problem resolved.

1.    Contact the police.

2.    Contact the Better Business Bureau or your local chamber of commerce.

3.    Take them to small claims court.

The psychic world can be nebulous and full of controversy. I felt like some of these things need to be out there as guidance to a public that has been subjected to a lot of misinformation. So I hope you've found this to be helpful in some way.

Due to being busy on a case, I'm reposting a previous blog on ouija boards where I answered questions/comments I received about them.

It has been surprising the amount of responses and comments that this blog stirred up. I normally don't address negative comments; I feel people are free to think what they want. But there is a particular individual out there who's posting on various sites claiming I say my way is the right and only way. I do not think that nor have I ever written that in any of my blogs or comments throughout MySpace. So now let's post my original blog and then answer the questions.

"I didn't think I did anything wrong it was just a game we only wanted to see if this spirit stuff was real. They only wanted to stay the night we said yes and all hell broke loose." Those aren't lines from a movie script from the next slasher/stalker movie playing down at the local Cineplex. But the quote you've just read is all too real. They were spoken by a young lady who hired me to clean out her home as a group of demons came to live with her while she and her friends played with a "cute little ouija board" after a Saturday night of heavy drinking. By Sunday, the house was a mess, one "hell" of a mess I tell you.

You can walk into Toys R Us and buy one in the "games" department. Thanks to the Internet, you can play with a virtual one. (The invitation to a demon over the 'net allows the demon to cross over your threshold). You can surf many online stores and choose from a variety of ouija boards ranging from deluxe high-end versions, antiques, glow-in-the-dark boards, glass-topped ones, all the way down to the old Parker Brothers classic board. No matter what version it is, it all spells trouble for you, your home, your children's life, your life, and your blood. It's no game. It can lead you into a costly situation paying for the services of a person such as myself, to clean up the mess, or even worse, it can lead to your death.

Spirit boards have been around since the beginning of time. In ancient Greece, Egypt, and Babylon, they used them to contact the deities and departed loved ones and to barter deals with the dead. The Roman Emperor Valens used a spiritual board device to talk to the Roman gods in the 4th century. During the 1800s a form of spirit board was developed by using a turned over wineglass, preferably used, and letters were arranged across the surface of a table. At the height of the Spiritualist Movement, the great American thinker and writer, William James, endeavored to use such boards in his quest to prove that the spiritual world was real.

Back in 1891 Elijah J. Bond got the first patent for the modern board. A few years later, William Fuld purchased the rights to the board, and after his accidental death in 1927 (he fell off the roof of his three-story factory while erecting a flagpole), his first-born son, William A. Fuld, headed his company. In 1942, the youngest son, Hubert, became the president of the company and then sold the entire business to Parker Brothers in 1966. Parker Brothers opened a factory in Salem, Massachusetts to produce the boards. There is some confusion about the name ouija and its origins. Some report that it is a combination of two words for yes, oui in French, and ja is Dutch and German. Others contend that one of the developers of the board got the name from an Egyptian god who spoke through the board during a séance: ouija meant "good luck." Well, good luck, my butt, Hasbro Games bought out Parker Brothers in 1991 and continues to produce the "game."

Folks, this tool for spiritual communication is no game and SHOULD only be used by people who have studied the spiritual world long and hard. You must be able to discern and test the spirits that you communicate with on this board. Spirits will lie just like people. A dark spirit/demon will latch onto a board and via their spiritual warfare tactics and be or say anything you want from a god to just a friendly little ghost to a dear dead relative. They will lie, and very effectively lie. They will tell the truth if they know it and give you more details than you could ever imagine in order to prove that they are trustworthy. They will make bad and good things happen to show that their predictions are correct. All for one thing – an invitation into your home or person. And once they get it, they then will run rampant through your life trying to destroy everything around you.

One of the biggest DON'TS when it comes to these boards is to never use them in a cemetery. I don't want to elaborate too much, but it's a spiritual free for all when it comes to this lethal combination. So if you do hang out in cemeteries, make sure you don't bring along a ouija board. Another big DON'T -- never use the board after you've been drinking alcohol or using drugs, because it's very easy for a spirit/demon to alter perceptions. And the final big DON'T is to never use it between the hours of midnight and 3 a.m. as that's when the dark forces are at their peak powers.

If you have a ouija board, get rid of it. But just don't throw it away in the trash. One of my clients did that and the thing kept coming back, even if she tossed it out of her car miles away from home. When she returned to her house she was amazed to find it was waiting for her on the kitchen table. So how do you get rid of a ouija board?

1.    Say prayers of cleansing over the board, Hail Marys, Our Fathers, anything to drive the negative spirits away.
2.    Clean it with Holy Water if at all possible. As you cleanse it, say prayers of your choice but insert the withdrawal of any invitations made to the spirit through the board.
3.    Burn the thing ASAP after the prayers. (If it's a plastic board there wont be any ashes.) And dump the ashes off your property.

Ouija boards or spirit boards are not fun and games, even though they're promoted that way. They can and have caused a life full of troubles. There are better ways to talk to spirits than via a ouija board. Take the time to learn them. If not, stay away from the spiritual realm or you might get more than you bargained for.

1 "given the fact you are entitled to freedom of expression and freedom of the press;
BUT! c'mon. ain't you over-stepping it a bit? where do you get off making a blatant claim ALL of the boards are black magic evil?
WHERE is this written in stone? WHOM wrote it? YOU? NOT!
you are dead wrong here on this one.
this is the same thing as burning books because you think it's evil.
only mankind's need to twist things is evil. the board is a tool..same as a hammer. a hammer is not evil unless you kill someone with it.....
you really need to back off.....
know what I'm saying? let's not get nutso here, shall we?"

The boards themselves are not evil but at the same time
they're not toys.., and should never be used by children under any circumstances.

If a person is fully aware of all the ins and outs then there is nothing wrong in their use. But unfortunately, few are. And the manufacturer continues to market ouija boards as a game! This is one of the things that make it dangerous is that people think they're just playing.

2 "I was fortunate enough to know 3 generations of my family. They were all from Eastern Europe, and, passed down their beliefs and traditions. I am the fourth generation. My daughters, the fifth...yes, I made them learn the truths and legends, so much a part of me.

Often, I think that the Ouija Board was another method of reaching out to friends....in the dark.....alone, while their husbands were out with their goats. (This is and, isn't a joke. Men from my background were never always that faithful at the moment. Yet, they all came home, unless they got hit in the head by a rock, or, kicked by an overly excited goat.) Actually, it is sort of like My Space! A lone woman, in most cases, seeking contact with something, anything.

Back to the issue, at hand. I do not believe the information contained in this blog, is factual. Doing the board with 4 of 5 of the generations of the women in my family, I have been frightened...exactly, ONCE!!!

Ouija board is just another tool. So is MySpace. We all need to learn to use our tools, responsively...or, not play.

None of us have been "possessed", to my knowledge. All in all, with cousins, we are talking at least 300 women, from the family, from time then to time now. They love gossip, these relatives....I would have heard, with relish!!!"

Thank you for proving my point. You've had 4 generations of training in how to use it nor were you out there in the graveyard at midnight or just trying to contact random spirits. You showed the board proper respect and you've handled spiritual communication with restraint.

3 "why is it that we still have to tell people about this... anyone that is spiritual... knows knows not to mess with Ouija boards... it's the teens that we have to get to through too... the ones that think it's fun to play with the dark ones"

Unfortunately, mass retailers like Toys R Us and Target continue to sell it in their toy/games section of their respective stores, allowing the myth to continue that it is merely a toy or game that any child can simply play with. Would any reasonable parent go out and buy a book of spells, hand it to their child and allow them to randomly read the spells and place curses willy nilly on whomever they choose?

I've seen so many cases that the use of the ouija board was the first act in a tragic story.

4 "I could see a homemade ouija board being made with an entity in it. How if it's made at a toy factory be made with an entity. I used a board once and we had gotten good results from it."

The board does not leave the factory with a demon assigned to it. The demon simply attaches itself when it's used by individual(s) if the demon just happens to be nearby. The same can be true for a homemade board, as well. That's why they are not evil to begin with and if properly cleansed and an aura of protection put around the board. Or you allow only your spirit guides to communicate through the board, and then no demon can become attached to it.

5 "are dowsing pendulums considered to be the same as the ouiji board, should they be stayed away from as well? and what about tarot cards?"

Dowsing pendulums are in the same genre as a ouija board but not the same gem of a ouija board. They are meant to assist you in asking questions of psychic energies and not of spirits. You're not inviting a spirit to come in through the pendulum like you are inviting a spirit to come in through a ouija board. Should they be stayed away from? You should always be trained and knowledgeable before you ever use any psychic tool. Now tarot cards are a completely different matter. You don't have to be psychic to read tarot cards and you're not dependent upon talking to a spirit to interpret the cards. One of the primary reasons why the Bible concerns itself with tarot card readers is that people start putting faith into tarot cards and the person reading them, than in God.

6 "what happens if you still believe in love and compassion and a higher power... you still pray, but you don't go to a church.... what kind of demons could potentially come at you then? you said christians have the demons of the christian religion, hindus have the hindu ones, buddhists etc. i was just curious... should you just pick a religion and stick with it?"

Not to speak for the mind of God and the will of God, because He can do what He desires, I believe God offers some protection for nonbelievers/nonpractitioners. The level of protection increases corresponding with an increase in your faith as well as your commitment to the path. As one becomes more involved, then certainly there will be more protection offered. But I can't see a loving God not offering anyone protection of some sort.

7 "It's not the Ouija board it's the practitioner."

That's like saying it's not guns that kill people it's people that kill people. Yes, in a vacuum it's not the ouija board itself that can cause the harm but the misuse of the board that can cause the harm. But nowhere does the company indicate on the box that this is not a toy. People are given an indication that this poses no danger whatsoever.

8 "how in the world can somebody called "free alol spirits" tell anyone to say no to anything?
especially something whose supposed role it is to, literally, "free all spirits"? come on"

I'm sorry that you're misinformed and nowhere in the history of the ouija board was it ever intended to be a tool to free a spirit(s). And telling someone to be careful or avoid a situation that could potentially be dangerous isn't leading someone into bondage, actually it's helping people avoid entering bondage.

9 "As long as you set about using the ouija in a positive way and cast a circle of protection plus invite your spirit guides to come close you should have no problems , remember though, like attracts like!!"

That's very true, I wish more people knew how to do it correctly.

10 "I was reading your blog about the Ouiga Board and was wondering if you have something to worry about if you used one. When I was in highschool (almost 20 years ago) my friends were into that and at a slumber party they were doing it. I was to afraid and at first didn't go on but I was sitting around the board. At one point the pointer just kept going to the pictures when my friends asked who it was coming through. Then the pointer stopped, as it seemed towards me, and I moved over to my left a little and the thing moved with me. I told my friends and they asked if the spirit or whatever wanted me on the board. The pointer immediately went to YES. For some reason I have no idea why I ended up going on the board. Now I wonder if I have something to worry about. I have had strange things happen to me in the past even prior to me ever using the board (afraid of the dark, hearing things, seeing things out of the corner of my eye then when I look nothing is there) and occasionally now things happen."

It's possible that you have a spirit attached to you due to the use of the ouija board. What you've written has taken place around you wouldn't be indicative of possession or oppression. You can simply contact a minister or priest and ask them to say a prayer for you concerning your use of the ouija board.

11 "I know you say it will be in a blog, but do you think I should accept christ into my life and go to church?" D.

If that is what you feel compelled to do then do so. Don't do it if it's to please others or you simply think it's what you should do, or if you think that Jesus will solve all your problems instantly.

If you're answering a call within your spirit to do so, then you most certainly want to heed that call.
