Well, 2007 was a year.  I state facts.  365 days.  Within that time we saw Friends Like These kind of limp out of the limelight.  A lot of stuff happened that led to our slow demise, but a happy, amicable demise. 

I loved writing music with FLT, I loved playing with FLT, and I am proud of what we did.  But all things must pass.  We leave the world with an EP still not released and one just barely released to local radio.  Maybe we will put them up somewhere to download.  Who knows...  I just wanted to say I love all these guys.  Every one who was involved.  From day one, the major players: Adam, Steve, Matt, and Adam Cain.  To the guys who were with us for a bit: Erik Tretbar, Sean hoffman, J. Matt Keil, John Madden, Paul Robinson.  To the guy that made it possible by teaching us how to play: Johnny Hermanson.  To all the people that helped with recording and touring: Jesse Stensby, Erik Applewick, Eric Fawcett, Alex Oana, Darren Jackson, Craig Grossman, Kate Galloway, Melissa Maerz, Keri Weiss. Thanks.

On a note of hope for the better tomorrow.  I have moved on to another project, with Adam Switlick joining me and switching to bass, and with the addition of Paul Miksic on guitar, and some other players (horns, drums, the kitchen sink) I will be playing as Communist Daughter.  Songs will be posted soon.  An album will be soon to follow.  Peace, love, and all that hippy shit - Johnny
