Hello,
A quick request:
Can you help me to choose the basic picture for my new album cover?
The CD title is This Way, Sweetheart! and it's acapella folk songs (mostly about love), from Hungary and other places like Turkey, Ireland.
Please tell me which would be your #1, 2 and 3
Thanks a bunch!
Here are the photos

Sziasztok,

A couple of thoughts about fighting in my blog Andrea's Survival Guide.
(I hope it is not too uncomfy for you to click and read my blog posts at other places, but I just can't seem to make this blog editor work here the way I want it.)
And by the way, have a fun Halloween everyone!

Szeretnék többet itt lenni, de kissé sűrűek mostanában a napjaim, úgyhogy nem sok időt töltök el errelefé. Tervezések-szervezések, fellépések, új alkotások, CD-t csinálok...
A fenti kütyükön eljuttok oda, ahol jobban megtalálhattok. Hát akkor találkozzunk ott is :-)

Did you ever have an accident? We know, that was an unfortunate coincidence.
Did you ever run to school or work and missed all the buses and subways and arrived late? (I did...) Coincidence - great way to explain yourself out of the situation.
Did you know people who lost their jobs, family and health in the same time? Poor guy - coincidence.
While another suddenly got an extremely good job offer and found the mate of his life? He was just lucky - coincidence...
coincidence= the occurrence of events that happen at the same time by accident but seem to have some connection; also: any of these occurrences (Merriam-Websters)
In a video, I heard a few words by Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz on this subject: "Belief in coincidence is neither scientific, nor religious..."

Last night I decided to go and play piano.
That is an old love of mine, and it is definitely in my plans to learn it really good. (Actually, a few years ago I did play one song with both hands, without having to look at the notes!)
So yesterday I got very excited when I saw this video about the piano stairs - and it was here in Stockholm! Okay, let's go there and play a little!
I got on the subway and went to Odenplan - not directly, got off first at Gamla stan. To buy a piece of dark chocolate with whole hazelnuts, if you wanna know - I shouldn't eat chocolate for my health, but I love this yummy stuff
But sadly enough, the piano stairs were not there any more... The young man at the information desk was VERY helpful and explained to me (for 10 minutes minimum) that many people were asking about it the whole day, but it was just a temporarily project, somewhen in July.
Well, I find it ingenious, don't you?
And probably I will have to buy a keyboard so that I can start to play...

Dear All,
I don't visit MySpace very often, but appreciate a lot you being here!
Thank you so much for sticking around, you give a meaning to my life and a
thrive to carry on.
As a thank you, I wanna give you a song,
but please help me to choose which one. For you have different music
tastes and I know some of you prefer traditional Hungarian folk songs
with band or acapella, others the New Age tunes, so now you can tell me
which song would you like to receive as a gift.
Choose from here which song would you like to download: www.reverbnation.com/andreagerak You can post your wish song here in a comment or send me a message.
I will tally the votes and send you the most wanted song on Monday 28/Sep.
Have fun!
Love, Andrea
(you got a similar update, if you are also with me on Facebook: artist.to/andreagerak )

Kedves Mindenki,
pedig inkább a New Age dolgokat, úgyhogy most megmondhatjátok nekem,
Szeretettel, Andrea
(hasonló levelet kapott, aki a Facebookon is a közelemben van: artist.to/andreagerak )

Category: Music
Hello, have a wonderful Saturday everyone!
Here in Stockholm it is beautiful sunny and I LOVE that! Going out soon in the city to find some nice spot. For what?
Collecting
inspiration for 1/Oct, the International Music Day. Looking for an unusual place to sing (with great acoustics, of course).
In Hungary, they take the message of Menuhin's initiative seriously: amateur and professional musicians hit the towns and do perform music in the most unexpected places: symphony orchestra at the subway station, fusion band on the elevators, singer at the reception of a big institution, etc.
For this occasion, I would probably do songs that I seldom sing (from Evita, Cats,
ABBA, Whitney Houston and such or some rock ballads...), but haven't decided yet.
Any ideas for a nice place for me?
And of course, I can also travel, if I am needed someplace else :-)
