Below is a weird but nice offer from a supportive friend of ours.

It's a text message based survey on your phone about coffee. every person who takes it gets $5. every time someone designates that they came by a gotham referral, ggrd gets an extra $5.

I know most of us are over 25 (and no - i don't know if we can fudge it) but it wouldn't hurt to get the word out about it and see what we can do, right? so pass it along to your younger brothers, sisters and cousins and whatever.

Thanks!

===============================================
Happy Holidays to you both and to all the girls at Gotham!

I have a proposition for you...we are doing a survey via mobile poll. It's about coffee drinking for guys and girls who are between 18 and 25. We're giving $5 away to everyone who takes the survey. There's also a $500 sweepstakes.

They can be ANYWHERE in the US. If you're open to spreading the word, I'm willing to donate to the league $1 per every Gotham referral that takes the survey. Just make sure you instruct all your friends to text the word GOTHAM when it asks their age, so they'd text "21 Gotham" or "18 Gotham", etc...

The survey itself is an easy 10 text questions. To start, you just text the word BREW to 247365. And it'll start feeding questions.

GGRD All-Stars take home the WFTDA 2008 Championship Trophy!

Gotham Girls Roller Derby's All Stars are happy, exhausted and blissful after a very tough weekend of skating hard and hitting harder. Your Gotham Girls are proud to be the WFTDA National Champs!

Big enormous hugs and slugs to all the fans and friends that generously donated to help us get to Portland in the first place! And huge thanks to the our hosts from Rat City and Rose City. This one is going to be hard to top - that opening ceremony was full of chills and goosebumps for all!

And of course much love to our worthy adversaries. Duke City is an exploding bomb of determination and is stocked full of fierce hits that just keep coming and coming and coming! Our beloved Liberty Belles are smarter and faster every time we meet them, and they did one hell of a job after the tough battle they had just hours before throwing down with us. And finally - those awesome Windy City girls served up another slamming game that more than just their normal awesome powerfully aggressive gameplay, but it had finesse and careful thought to strategy. SuperAwesomeTastic.

We were proud to bring home the bruises of all our competitors. May we *all* be even better, stronger and more awesome next year!

VIVA ROLLER DERBY!
