Myra Davies:
i finished a new recordings with spoken word artist myra davies from vancouver.
its a new album myra and me started last year, myra doing concept, vocals and lyrics and me music and production.
the "Myra Davies: The Girl Suite EP" is already available as an online release and the album "Myra Davies: Cities and Girls" is coming as a cd and online release end of september on Moabit Musik - here with music not only by me - there is a track by beate bartel and by danielle de picciotto with alexander hacke.
and it's all about cities and girls... and its great!

Blaktroniks:
are from san francisco and asked me for a vocal contribution for their new album "Blaktroniks: Mechanized Soul" on Rubaiyat Rec- we communicated via email and met once in san fransisco. and then they dubbed it up. cool.

antje greya fuchs and me are doing a coop for bbc broadcast - our working title is "baustelle" - we are still on the case. this new work will be on air in november.

i’m just a bit disappointed that he didn’t like -or better understood- matador.

hope you enjoyed the long dubby bluesy track "pleasuretrain" on my new album - i did the track with my matador/malaria friend manon p. duursma. dirk markham added a nice guitar.
the news is: now i did a new short single mix for a new earsugar 7inch with a version on the b-side. it comes in white vinyl should be in selected shops any time! or at monika mailorder.

its distributed in germany/europe, japan and the usa and australia as well.
you can get it through your fav indie record shop or try the usual mailorder like amazon or ask direkt at our monika shop

tonight i uploaded the new video for "move me" on youtube.

its done by zarah and paula- two berlin teenagers who have fun filming all day.
and since fun is a very good reason i asked them if they would like to do a clip for move me.

the videomaterial was wonderfully edited by ute schall - she is a filmmaker and part of poleposition and she does videowork for rene pollesch at the prater and the volksbühne berlin.
