deep breath.... pull hands from face... been in hiding for a while now ...... dont know what to exactly say... its just been that way... and i guess it is what is needed... its late and detached i know.... many questions and very few answers come with the passing of time... i would like to say that we will finally be going in starting next week/// july 30th/// to officially begin mixing our full-length-plus record' its 12 songs/70some minutes of music.../// i dont know yet how many of these songs, nor which, we will choose to be on the record, neither who will release it yet''' i haven't had internet access for a while now and using it as an excuse to avoid everything... we are just in that state of non-connectedness... introspective i suppose... we haven't played a show in quite a while>>> but things are progressing ginormously' we will get in touch with all of u who are so dear to us and offer us yr caring support and interest soon...

pat and i are in amherst mass. right now writing music for a solo dance piece... its 30 minutes long and the van///BLU/// has broken down, and prolly costing me a fortune-&-a-pennymore, and it is beautiful and serene, and some of the best melodies we've written to date... actually this ghastly record has by far been the hardest, most ambitious, and tearjerkingly, passionate/beautiful album to date for any of us i believe'''' honestly! growing, growing, growing.... crooked as a thieving bonzai''' >>>>

we are now officially stating>>> that we are planning a two&ahalf week eastcoast tour with our dear friends, and amazingly talented, pygmy lush... from late october to early november... based around the gainesville fest''' we wanted to make the trek down cos' we had such a great time last year... thanks tony for making it possible... and thanks ben salie for making our passion & dreams possible/// in breaking down our inner walls & barriers, and getting this record into a physical overcoming!!! its goddam beautiful and inspiring''' so if anyone would like to help us in setting up shows for this tour... do get in touch;'''' litany we will have to meet up somewhere... somehow'''' love ya! it will be dumb fun!!!!

however, we are playing this show thursday that will be with two goddam amazing bands that i cant wait to see... and it is the same day as grizzly bear releases their new album... which i will try and find to take my day to new and higher heights... good week i hope nonetheless... for sure!!!
i am also gonna fight off this theif with the news that we will begin recording our full-length album may 1st... this is the biggest of big news for us!!!! hope it turns out golden as the beasts fur>>>> walls have been demolished.... on and on we go towards new ones""""""""""

here we go right.... so we have posted a new song from our practice space demos as we work towards getting ourselves into a studio to record this so called first full-length....

we took down "the looming speck" & have posted this new one titled "i never left my head/ aka. how to survive an economic crash..."! THANK U to everyone for listening so much to our first posting and providing us with the support and reassurance, that it is worth all this draining work and frustration that grips the coattails of art...

we are still in search of labels to work with in producing and releasing this beast... so again, please keep a word out to anyone who may find us of interest in their lives... i would love to see this somehow release by the end of this year.... it's insane work aligning stars right!!!

we also have some shows we are extremely excited about coming up>>> so if anyone is in a surrounding area..... do comeout and hang with us.... we get to finally see our friends GODS & QUEENS.... & we cannot wait to see the new band CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX perform and be there on their first us tour....comeout comeout comeout u litl foxes / outta yr holes''''

i'd also like to mention to those in portland/// there is quite an interesting artshow currently hanging at fontanelle gallery.... it was curated by ryan smith.... and features musicians who have created art for bands he grew up adoring and absorbing.... and i am insanely elated to say i and two great friends/past bandmates are part of the roster.... chris taylor and adam juresko, as well as other close friends.... the show is called LONG LIVE THE EPHEMERAL. it will be hanging till the end of this month.... as well as a split artshow with Niki Kelce and I here in Williamsburg, Brooklyn at Lenora's Way... MOONMUSH.

i'm sleepy so i'm gonna make this just a bit.

last week we played cake shop with detroit friends noman and the summer pledge.  funny how we realized that was our third show in a year with the the summer pledge...guess we are bestie's now. cooool.

we also posted a new song last week, The Looming Speck.  chances are, if you have seen us live in the past year, we have played this song. . but we finally demo'd it up and posted it for those who haven't seen us....we're probably going to post somethin' even newer in the coming weeks. . we'll let you know.

also, i just posted up for sale our cd EP in the special packaging.   we made these for our fall '08 tour and have some left, so you can order them through us.  please note, the cd is the SAME as the EP we've always had out. we just made fancy hand dyed, silk screend pouches to put them in, along with some other treats. you can see photos of them if you want on our flickr.



hopefully this week if i can find someone to model for me, i'm going to put up our newer t-shirt for sale as well. but i'l let you know that too.
