How's everyone? We are doing alright. Tour has been interesting. Moving along.. singing a song. Chicago was fun, 2 shows in one night. We've been shooting video.. should post soon.
Apologies to Denver. Every tour there has to be THAT night. Speakeasy Tiger was fun..Blackgold awesome as usual.. then our turn. See the day started off on the wrong foot. We pull into Denver to find liquid explosion all over our back tire. We were hoping it could be fixed in a day. We had it towed and hitched a ride with Blackgold to the venue. To make it easier the girls were going to borrow the boys amps. I brought my kit. Forward to us about to play. We are setting up.. and the sound guy starts hooking us up. Hooks my monitor to the back of me...He seemed a little flushed and rushed. He gets off stage no line check.. just a "ready lets go!". My friend rockstar AAron introduces us and we start BB. All down hill from there... non stop feedback, jenns monitor is out. Then the amp goes out. Jenn tells the sound guy to go direct. He does but he simply cannot find the mix. Basically he sucked.

We played probably one of the worst shows ever in the history of this band. those who came to see us were nothing short of supportive. Still it breaks our hearts to not be able to give them a show they payed to see. We apologies times a thousand. Those seeing us for the first time im sure wont be back. After the show.. we were sad and embarrassed and just wanted to leave. Sound guy starts following Nina around saying "hey can i talk to you" Nina replies with a "not right now man". I then see him out on the floor and he can keeps telling me "your a rockstar" whatever the hell that means. It was so obvious he was drunk. He then starts to push our friends out of the floor . He starts blaming bad sound all on the amp. We start loading out and hear the partial owner of Benders saying how pissed she was at Nina. Turns out the sound guy told her Nina told him" Dont talk to me man, you have a penis"

WTF. Thats the most silliest thing i've ever heard. Nina would never say such a thing.We leave not arguing..Jenn replyin in in the upmost respect to being booted.
Whats so sad... is that we really liked Benders alot. We have memories there. It was the first venue we played when we first started as a band. Not to say that Benders is bad.. because its not. It takes one douche bag to ruin a night. And the sound guy at Benders in a complete douche.

We left, hung out with Blackgold.. and got back to our motel hoping to awake to some good news about the van. Get the call the next morning that the van needs a new axel and its needs to be ordered and shipped from Kentucky. Bummer. That meant we had to stay in Denver and wait for the part. We had to cancel SLC in Utah, Boise,ID and Seattle. We are trying to  make the best of it. Looking at it as a vacation of sorts. Clearing the mind. Exploring Denver. Jenn was born here. Going to see Gossip and MEN tonight. May do something on stage with MEN... we'll see.

Make sure you still go out and see Blackgold. Their a great band and they will still be playing.

Helllooooo
So here we are in South Carolina. Taking it easy watching trash t.v. Stallllionairesss. Ha.
Tours been interesting so far. Texas your always fun. We had Daria, our favorite Austinite, come on stage and do her thing. Too much of her thing. None the less she was fun. Dallas and Houston was another round of good times too. Over all..thank you Texas. Next stop was somewhere in Missouri. Lots of dancing, possible hallucinates being passed around among the dancers....which was causing them to break out the glow sticks. We played, we saw, we left. Met up with our new friends Black Gold in Atlanta and met a new Atlanta friend Nastassia, shes rad. Drunken Unicorn was a cool place... nice old club vibes.

Fixed the breaks in the Silver Bullet and now we are in SC. Tomorrow, The Milestone in North Carolina.

Hello All,
We are getting ready to hit the road again! Yayayaya. Some more new merch.. shirt designed by Jenn and Trio B.C. jackets!
Been practicing all week.. gunna try and bust a cover out. The band- Velvet Underground.
We plan on finishing the year off with touring and a fun suprise show on New Years eve.. We will annouce where and with who later.

For this tour we are off with a band called Black Gold.. check them out here : myspace.com/blackgold. They will be coming off a tour with Neko Case. We are super excited and you can start getting your presale tickets already for some of the shows. Los Angeles Troubadour tickets are already available too. Go to the venue .. they are cheaper. It's always usually cheaper if you buy them direct.. but if your a busy guy or girl and dont mind the extra fees.. then online is for you. We are still working on an El Paso date but all the dates are pretty much up.

This Saturday we have a free show here in San Antonio at the Market Square main plaza. Pinata Protest, Bombasta , Groupo Fasma and more will be playing too. Starts at noon and we will hit the stage at 10:00pm. Get there early going to be a rad day... Here is the flyer:

Many of you know that the band has been dealing with legal issues that we have been able to talk about until now. Today Jenn and Nina went before a Grand Jury in Houston, Texas to face charges of felony assault on a public servant. We are happy to announce that both Jenn and Nina received a “No Bill” which means that they have decided not to indict the girls and the case is over with no criminal case against the girls. The band is relieved that this ordeal is over and that justice system worked. Thank you to our family, friends, club owners and especially all the fans that stood behind us and believed in us throughout it all. xo-Jenn,Nina and Phanie

anway, why do i suck so bad at keeping up with the online blog. Twitter..simple. I can do that. Its because its quick and easy . Its like gogurt. Yogurt on the go. What the hell am i talking about?

What im trying to say is im sorry for letting this go folks. Jenn needs to make videos and i need to post pics and write more often. somtimes we have rooms with internet .. and sometimes we dont. but no excuses dammit! i will get on the ball.

so lets catch you up... tour ,as always, has been amazing. Miss Derringer has been so sweet and great. Fun great music and sincere sweet folks. What more do you need? Everyshow has been great.. we have the occasional slip up, and the occasional bad sound.. but f*** it.. its rock and roll.

album has been doing great. crtics receiving it well. some a bit confused of the fact that we didnt choose a genre. but what fun is that? if you like something then play it. simple. don't over analyze.. just listen.

those of you coming to our shows.. your so so amazing. you come from near and far, different backgrounds and different stories. we sincerly love you all . thanks for the gifts, the paintings, the turtle for leonard, the starfish, the pedal, the vegan cookies and shoes, the love. thank you for flying from Ireland to see us in Janesville WI. thank you nikki for driving 2 hrs to see 3 songs and still being cute.

We are halfway threw the tour..on our way to the west and we cant wait!! and we plan on doing it all again in the fall.

saw the new videos for "el monte" and "static mind" and we are sooo excited for you all to see em. they need little tweeks and there all ready to go.
