I had a lack of posting in December and early January due to exams and being away from my computer at home, visiting the College-ette. I'm now back and I'm in a posting frenzy.

In case you've missed it, my brother, The Man has closed shop at GOP and the City. He will still be posting randomly at Blogs 4 Bauer and Urban Elephants, but as of last week, GOP and the City is no longer active. No word if The Man will post on Let's Be Hillary Free In '08.

Sorry about the delay folk,s but I've been too busy to update the Myspace blog. So I figured I'd give a quick recap of what has recently been posted, and what is soon to be posted at GOP and College.

Tired of USC getting a Top 5 rating for a #20 team? So am I.

I'm home from my trip to "The Big Go", the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, IN, and did I ever have a blast.  Check out the whole post at GOP and College.

Hot Wing Conspiracy Baseball is in its final week before the 6 team playoff.  Check GOP and College tomorrow for the Week 21 Recap, and next week, be sure to look for the Week 22 Recap/Playoff Preview, and The Week 1 Preview for HWC Football.  There are 16 teams in the football league this year, so we will see if I can retain my crown, or if it will be passed on to another person.
The week 1 Recap for football will be held at GOP and the City, some time after the 11th.

I would love to see every one of the quacks on the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals taken off of the bench, ASAP. They removed the saying of the Pledge of Allegiance in Public Schools because it has the words "Under God" in it, and removed the small cross on the Los Angeles County Symbol because it was infringing on other people's rights.

Now they say that it's OK for children in school to be TAUGHT BY THEIR STATE PAID TEACHER, in a STATE FUNDED PUBLIC SCHOOL for 3 weeks on "How to live like a Muslim," by repeatedly chanting things like, "Praise be to Allah," "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful," and "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger," IN THE CLASS ROOM.

What were their grounds for making this decision?
"The 9th Circuit upheld her decision in a five-sentence ruling, saying only that the activities werent overt religious exercises that would raise concerns under the First Amendment prohibition of establishment of religion."

Liberal hypocricy at it's most obvious.

I was flipping through the channels one day, and noticed the guy from Super Size Me on Oprah, working as a minimum wage employee.  They were struggling to find an apartment, or anything just to survive.  But did she mention this:
That they were living in San Fran, where the cost of living is double, triple, or more, than almost every other place in the US?
They spent a days worth of work on a movie and drinks?
As well as other flaws in the study.
