To get this pic,
I've shot this drawing piece for more than 200 times over and over again,
sometimes it's so painstaking to take a nice pic for uploading,
looks as some Goro's version of graffitti art?
I think I can have much fun from experimenting with this new style, maybe, for a while,

The master,
who made the original sketch of the same title,
has requested me the other day to reproduce it with Goro's own drawing style, personally,
and this is what I've come up with finally,
now I'm anxious about how the originator, a new friend of mine, would feel seeing it...

GIANNAKOS

Again,
have started creating new art after 10 days absence from it,
now I knew it's rather good for your mental health,
life without creativeness,
for me it's a loss of balance, disharmony in mind,
hadn't ever suspended it for any lack of ideas before, this time as well,
I never need any 'ideas' or 'research' for my new creation,
all my artwork is done via free improvisation,
maybe that's one of the reasons why many people say my art is VERY PURE...
still don't know if my art is of a genuine purity, or the embodiment of my impurity disposition...huhuhu

Mr. Giannakos is my new friend on Facebook,
living in Greece,
great art lover,
I wish him a great success for the new gallery he's running next year,

wanna go visit Greece myself,
of course many other places in the world as well,

SCRIABIN ETUDES/GORO'S THEME

Hello friends,
I really appreciate having received all sweet happy birthday comments from you friends on myspace and facebook,
THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!
I've been suspending my creative work for the past couple of days for general cleaning my room,
yes it was so messed up, a big labor required me 3 nights and even longer though my rented room is such a narrowest space of like 2x2x2 meters with tiny kitchen and bathroom...I live in Tokyo with minimum money now,
but now it's finished,
so I will be back in my regular art making soon, perhaps till tomorrow?
now I feel like going back to some drawing work, it seems I have consumed lotta energy out of creating those 3 latest oil and acrylic 'pure painting' series,
I'm gonna have some fun from now toying with my lines done with pencils, pens, ballpoints...see you here soon

Sorry it was acrylic, not oil,

the most magical portrait I've ever done, maybe,
the process,
was just amazing,
she kept transforming herself quite dramatically,
it was done out of the painter's control,
I had to scratch out layers of acrylic paint over and over again till this subtlest texture came up on the surface,
then I partly added some extra lines and colors on it to finish,

a bit looking like ancient mural painting?
I'm fond of the religious feel in this rare unisex portrait,
the muse was my myspace female friend living in France...

INDEPENDENCE

Had been on top gear for my violent brush strokes and color combining while painting this piece,
it reminds me of those earliest oil studies, of circa 2 years ago?
maybe, from now on, I'll be making a few more oil sketches in a row...

EXPECTATION

The title has double meanings,
I've painted this piece from being inspired by Gustav Klimt's work, EXPECTATION,
seeing part of the work for the first time as that was used for the profile image of some artists community site on Facebook,
then,
the model,
Melissa,
whom I always think one of the most beautiful women on this planet,
is EXPECTED to have her first baby girl this November,
Congratulations on your happiest moment you gonna have this month, my dear model,

had suffered from a few UNEXPECTED accidents last week,
they all came into my life at one time,
so there was little time to paint for the past couple of days, even losing enough sleeping time,
and yet one of them remains to be sorted out within this week,
hopefully I could soon regain my freedom,

thanks for those kindest comments on my profile page, my friends, especially ones in the US...

I have just met with, via myspace, a great friendly new rival artist in France,
she's very inspirational.

Never liked my face becoming a paint motif,
however,
just because I don't like it very much, it can give me a good opportunity testing new style,
it is ME, my face,
there's no hesitation!
I can somehow enjoy painting myself by just considering it as a guinea pig...

A bit looks like being in Paris, rather than in NEW YORK?
actually she, Brooke Palombo, lives in New York,
the first model I've scouted on the web (myspace) around 2 years ago,
it is a shame I haven't been networking with her very much these days,
gotta send this image to her today right away,
although I have, as a painter, long been experimenting with various techniques on lots of visions, welcoming every new inspirations,
I tried to emulate this time the style I had adopted when I painted her first time,
maybe it has progressed reasonably in 2 year training, out of over 300 pieces of artwork, but,
nowadays I start missing those roughness, immature beauty of my quite formative days' works, 
you gain something new, more sophisticated,
then you lose something older
with that you had no choice but fool around before, yet had its own value...
