If you want to see them, you're gonna have to head over to Facebook.  I'm too lazy to upload them again.

I have a phone!!

Tuesday, August 12, 2008

If those of you who actually know me, I'm kindly requesting that you send me your phone numbers.  I lost my cell shortly after arriving home from visiting Michigan.

Also, if you won't mind also providing me with your current mailing address and your birthdate...I would appreciate it.

Sorry for being a pain.

Current mood:  content
Josh and I have been in the new place for a couple of weeks now. It's been great.

Finally ordered a couch and an accent (recliner) chair from Laz-E-Boy. I'm excited to have something other than the carpet to sit on in the living room.

Just made biscuits. Yum!

I'm still recovering from the two weddings that happened this week. I was a bridesmaid/wedding cake decorator for one. The other, I was solely the wedding cake baker/decorator...AND I caught the f***ing bouquet!! Last scheduled wedding cake is for July 4.

There's a surprise "vacation" in the near future...Josh is taking me some place.

All in all, life is pretty sweet right now....but I'm F****ING tired!! I'm looking forward to some R & R.

Only two more days and I'll have the keys to the new digs! Sweet.

I'm stoked to be living closer to work. F**k you gas prices!

Also, I'm looking forward to spending more time with my special someone! Ciao! ^_^
It'll be interesting living with just one person again.

That's all folks.

Today I was one of 5,000 people who participated in the Big Climb in downtown Seattle.  I managed to climb up 69 flights of stairs (788 vertical feet) in 30 minutes in the Colombia tower, which is the tallest building in Seattle.

The purpose of this event was to raise money, as well as awareness, for the Lukemia and Lymphoma Society.  To all the people I know, I’m still attempting to raise money for LLS.  If you’re able to, please donate.  Any amount helps.  Many people are suffering from blood diseases and it’s important to take care of one another.  The deadline for the fundraiser is April 4th.

Current mood:  accomplished
That's another thing off the list of "TO DOs"...
Josh and I finished "shopping".  Our wedding registries are finished.  Here they are...Target, Macy's, and REI...
Being a non-traditionist and far from proper, I figured it would just be easier tell everyone...obviously, I don't need anyone to feel obligated to shop for us.  I know y'all love us...well, at least me.
(disclaimer:  sorry to say, i'm not necessarily inviting everyone on my friends list...i hope you'll understand...thanks)

Current mood:  sick

Yet another year has past...sigh....and another birthday fast approaches.  I'm all ready just about booked for the following week.  I'm feeling tired just thinking about the upcoming festivities.

Currently, I'm typing as Star Wars VI music plays in the background and Josh furiously puts together, yet another, Star Wars Lego set.  (FYI:  It's Darth Vader Advanced Tie Fighter and has 1200 or so pieces)

I'm also still recovering from sickness.  Don't entirely know what it is and my doctor didn't tell me what it is.  He DID happily prescribe antibiotics for the next 5 days as well as liquid Vicodin for my nasty mucuosy throat...*hack--cough*

In other news, I'll be back to school on Monday.  I'm looking forward to it despite the fact that I'm not necessarily prepared for more academia.  I'm officially approaching 30 and I have yet to figure out what I'm doing with my life.

Along with going back to school full-time, I'll be working at GHB Co. full-time.  I threw in the towel at Trophy on Dec. 14th.  I have absolutely NO ill feelings toward to company or the people that work there.  It's a great place, just not a place for me.

There are a few things I have to look forward to in the new future: 1) turning 27; 2) celebrating my birthday three times (maybe more...my friends are wicked cool!); 3) Actually being in a relationship during Valentine's Day; 4) My cousin's wedding and my dad's birthday in March; 5) Decorating/Baking two wedding cakes with five days of eachother in May.  Those are just to name a few.

Now, my check list of things to do in the next week... renew driver's license, update address on said license, switch co-signers on my loan, buy my textbook for Japanese Art History, and then...bills!  Here goes.

Current mood:  happy
It's been awhile since I have blogged. I figured now would be a good time to more or less update those of you who are readers.

The most recent change in my life right now is that I'm trying out a new relationship. It's been quite relaxing, pleasant, and reaffirming. We have been enjoying the pleasure of eachother's company for several months now and have only recently become exclusive. It's been a natural progression and I've felt absolutely no pressure from him (Hi Josh) to feel this out. I can't help but laugh and be tickled by the fact that once I became content with being single...a man comes out of the woodwork and pursues me. Right now I'm happy.

Another thing that is a work in progress is school. I won't necessarily call this a change mostly because it's something that I've wanted to pursue for quite some time now and have only recently decided to stop allowing my fears of failing to prevent me from running with what motivation I currently have to grab at this opportunity for ultimate success. I've still have a bit of work to do in the next 3 weeks before the quarter starts. I hope I can maintain focus and keep my head in the game. I am feeling optimistic about this endeavor despite the lingering feeling that I may not make it to the end.
