I've just posted 2 new unmixed/unmastered songs from our new record, currently "Untitled", and 2 more old songs from "The Inevitability Of A Strange World". Let us know what you think about the 2 new tracks. We're excited to hear some feedback so don't be shy.

I'm sitting in my room alone listening to "Life With Out You" by Stevie Ray Vaughn, sipping on a rum and coke, and looking through old tour photos on halifaxrock.com when I decide it's time that I half way catch you up on what's been going on. We will be putting up 2 songs from our new record in 1 week exactly, post some upcoming shows in a few day, and inform you of an important update regarding the band. HALIFAX

Today is our last day in Austin, TX. We've been here for 31 days and it couldn't have gone better. We're driving back home to L.A. at 7 tonight and i'm really excited for a mental break. For the past month I put every drop of energy I had into making these songs smoke. Some songs went through 3 sets of lyrics just so they could be good enough for you. Some songs we're transposed 3 times so they sat in the perfect pocket for my voice. As I sit in the control room listening to the board mixes of the 10 songs, I find myself getting the chills during every song. NO i'm not being egotistical, I'm just sharing a real and honest feeling with you. These past few days i've been running around like a geddy little kid. I'm high on life and have never felt so good. I can't wait till you all can hear why i'm so excited. For any guitar nerds out there, like myself, I took some pictures of the amps and guitars we used to get all the cool sounds on this record.

The record is officially done!

Don't know when it will come out, on what label it will come out, where it will come out, when we will tour, or where we will tour yet......

all I know is that this record is finished and it screams. Its an awesome record and I know you all are going to love it. It's the heaviest thing we've ever done as well as the most structured thing we've ever attempted. At the same time it's a beautiful pop record with everything you could ever want to sing along to.





AND we got the most amaaaazing guest on this record. Some of you might not know who he is but I know you've heard of his band. He has become our new friend and he wanted to play on our album, which is a humbling and definitely inspiring thing to happen! .... but you guys can't know who he is yet.

Almost there guys.... sit tight, it's worth it.

So we just arrived at our beautiful studio in Austin, TX. We're offically starting pre-production for this new album TODAY (FINALLY). You can count on us uploading pictures and videos of our set up soon, and we'll be documenting this entire process so expect a Youtube page in few days!
