Hiroki Uchi. he's a good friend, but i guess he's company started to 'protect' him since he's started his solo project not so long ago. so, ive been learning some rules about his company this past few years, and i guess "now, its the same" and theres nutin i can do to make his stay online with his myspace. so, whatever you do, my dear, "keep on fighting!" i always remember you as a great friend here in myspace. oh, and i hope i could meet you one day :)

If you win, your "confidence" will increase Even if you lose, your "experiences" will change So problems are Nothing! Nothing!
Goin',Shala-Pa-Pa-Pa, Dowa-la-Pa-Pa If you dance nonstop You'll hold the dance floor all to yourself Let's Shoutin'-La-Pa-Pa,Feel it La-Pa-Pa Shall we get High and start a revolution? Are you ready? BOOGIE WOOGIE 66
Escaping from reason that happens once in a while right? Right, DJ? TURNIN' BURNIN' Dance and charge up Softly say Good-Bye to the tears Don't Mind All of life is PERFECT There's no such person yeah No-No A sweet trap I wanna Try Even if you're struck down SHOW MUST GO ON!
Fu-Fu who are you fighting with? Fu-Fu yourself, isn't it? Don't do it you'll "regret" it if you're seduced, Puff up your chest What is "black and white"? I Know! I Know!

"I can still go on" if you think that, even for a second in that instant your story will still continue on
Goin',Shala-Pa-Pa-Pa,Dowa-la-Pa-Pa Interpose in a short break time Shall we take a deep breath? Let's Shoutin'-La-Pa-Pa,Feel it La-Pa-Pa It's the calm before the storm Are you prepared, Everbody?
Goin',Shala-Pa-Pa-Pa,Dowa-la-Pa-Pa If the night lifts Let's restart We can begin from zero Let's Shoutin'-La-Pa-Pa,Feel it La-Pa-Pa How about trampling down negativity? with our skilled steps BOOGIE WOOGIE 66

Current mood: impressed
At the moment, i could never explain it in a thousand of words how i admire Keita. My world has been into him for almost two months now, and i couldnt believe my heart would feel this way. i fell in love with this person...
And since today is his Bday, i decided to write this. i was intended to write it since a month ago, but i think his bday will suit better. hahah! so yah, there you go.

Well, before we go on, let me introduce him to you, coz i know some of you would say "hm... have no idea bout a boy named Keita Tachibana~~" i knew Keita since a long time ago. its 2000-sumtin but i couldnt catch the exact year. He's the member of Japanese Pop group icon W-inds. along with the bandmates Ryohei Chiba and Ryuichi Ogata. but i never got an interest of them. well, there was some songs or videos, but everything were just "oh, W-inds. okay." i didnt even recognize them by name. later on, i know they are Ryuichi, Keita and Ryohei since i open up one of the magazine i own very often, and W-inds' on that mag.

Anyway, this is sumtin about W-inds. [source:Wikipedia.com] W-inds. is a Japanese pop group (J-Pop vocal group). But now theyre more known as A HIP HOP GROUP, since they grown up. They are popular in Japan, thru'out Asia and Europe, and have performed in shows such as the annual Kohaku Uta Gassen. [a very famous music show in Japan]
W-inds. are Chiba Ryohei, Tachibana Keita, and Ogata Ryuichi. Keita, the main vocal of this group, had to fight with about 8000 people at the audition over there. But that was not the problem, coz he has so much talent. They chosen him over those 8000 people. Well...how talent he is?....His voice got 5-7 octaves range!!! some ppl even stated 8!! When there was an singing audition in Fukuoka called "Star Light Audition" in the year 2000, Keita's mother sent an application form without him even knowing, at that time he was dancing at a school and he was chosen out of 8000 people. His mother called him and he went for the audition, at last he won. That time he was barely 15.
At that time Ryuichi and Ryohei, the other members of this group, had already met at the dance school in Sapporo. And then they were chosen from an audition also.
Well...Before they released out their debut single, they performed (street lives)at Yoyogi park and Shibuya every Sunday in late 2000. At that time they were not so very popular. But not too long people start to know them even they not release out any works yet.

In March 11,2001 they performed and introduced themself for their debut single at Shibuya. They got all the fans over 8000 at Shibuya!!! How hot is that ?!! In March 14, 2001 they released out the debut single called "Forever Memories".

alright, enuff bout W-inds, now get back to Keita.

November, early, i found out a CD single [Release Date : October 18, 2006] titled ROAD SIGN [MICHISHIRUBE] by Keita Tachibana. and i was thinkin "why this Keita-name rings me a bell--" but the only thing captured in my brain was Keita from W-inds. "but oh dear God, what was his family name? was is Tachibana??" because i was seeing a-very-different-person, and i wasnt sure whether it was the same one. but it ended up with me downloading those 3 songs. [Road Sign, Ai no Katachi, and Voice] but once after i heard his voice on Road Sign, "Geeezzz!!! this is the boy from W-inds!" coz his voice is the things i cant never forget. but what caught in my heart was the whole new package of him. so all i can say was "whoa... this boy is a grown up man..." coz, oh come on!, he grew that much!! He was a skinny lil boy, and he's now in a very well built! and he's very tall now. its around 184 cm. [!!!]its more than tall for a Japanese... but above all, i just LOVE that Road Sign song.

shortly, after listening to the song, i search bout him and found out this: [from YesAsia] W-inds heartthrob Tachibana Keita unveils his debut solo single. The trio's lead vocalist is finally set to launch his solo career with Michishirube (Road Sign). Tachibana shunned no efforts to surprise his fans, penning the lyrics of the title song himself. J-pop lovers interested in even more of Tachibana. Solo material should keep an eye out for his first album due to hit record shelves in mid-November.
WHOA!!! solo project. no wonder it didnt sounds like W-inds. one thing to realize, i fell in love with a guitar-prince again. oh my dear Jesus.....
havent satisfied yet, i keep looking more information about him. and there i found---
-Keita Tachibana, born in Fukuoka, Japan on 16 December 1985, is a Japanese musician. He is the lead singer of the J-Pop boy band w-inds. and is also very involved with their dance sequences. Keita Tachibana got his big break when he won the 2000 ASAYAN Idol Contest, beating over 80,000 contestants for the top spot. He joined forces with two dancers from Sapporo, Ryuichi Ogata and Ryohei Chiba, to form their very popular J-Pop band, W-inds. -Keita is extremely famous for his extraordinary vocal range - he can hit notes 6-8 chords higher than the average male. [bless him...] -Keita also has a very large fan-base for his looks. In his spare time, he enjoys playing rounds of pool or soccer. Keita is also capable of playing various musical instruments; piano, guitar and bass guitar. -He has an older brother, Yuta, who is a model, and two younger sisters, Mai [also a model] and Mio who is currently a model and just now, a singer, part of the group Soran Happies. Before this, Yuta and Mai were in a group called, CUBE. -His father was a dancer and his mother was a Dj. His mother owns a Model agency. [oh! what a family...]
-Keita is a playful person, but sometimes he can be a bit stubborn. He can play piano, guitar and bass, but loves to sing the most. He is also very good at dancing, including breakdancing. Keita also is said to be a very good billiards player. He appears to be a rather open person, and admit he is easily affected emotionally. He even cried on his debut. He's always laughing and is very fun-loving. Keita Tachibana and the record company announced on September 16 that the band will not disband even though Keita is having a solo single out. -He wants to be the best. On their performance, he knows that he probably did bad, but he still thinks that he was good. -He never forgive to the person who doesn't keep a promise [yeah, me too] -How he changed after W-inds. debute 1. His appearance inside and out. 2. His voice. 3. His height, he grew 20 cm since debut. -When he was little He was a crybaby and a naughty boy who liked playing more than studying. -What he thinks of his family He thinks his family is busy and noisy -He started dancing in second year in junior high school but he doesn't remember why. -Keita is NOT the type of guy who cheat on his girlfriend. [HALLELUJAH! ] -Not Keita's style: messy room, science, pickles and olives, being mean, speed dating, girls who wear mini skirt& showy clothes.
-Keita Tachibana has now got his own solo career as well as being in a band. His debut single will be released on the 18th October 2006, titled "Michishirube". Although he is a solo artist now, he mentioned that w-inds. is a big part of him. It is most likely that w-inds. will not be disbanding. [source: Wikipedia]
alright back to me, after that Michishirube single, my whole life is suddenly going around Keita. i even surf to the past and get down into W-inds, to see how he grew up, step by step with all the documents, songs, PVs and concerts. it brings laughter and "WHAT??!!"[in an awkward face] towards the appearance of Keita and W-inds year by year. They are grow up. and after seeing them all, knowing them all by everything, hahaha!!! i like them. i think theyre cool. in a concert, each of them has their own time to go on stage with their own style. Ryuichi was on a metal-guitar-LinkinPark-style since he loves LP, and Ryohei with his breakdance-hiphop-style that is his trade mark. theyre all cool. they play all the genre of music; pop, rock, RnB, soul, ballad, even the 80'music like they did on the song titled SUPER LOVER~i need you tonight~.
move on, this is a confirmation from Keita's original site [Keita.tv]. He wrote this himself. And this is WHY i love him more and more and more... [aaaaawww.... (>_<)"]

"In my childhood I grew up I listening to all kinds of music. Debuting as a group and making contact with music has made me interested in the world of lyrics, planting a desire to want to express myself in my own words. I am very glad to be able to release a song with lyrics I have written in the form of a solo single. This debut song "Michishirube" is a song that can help support somebody who is taking on a challenge. I myself was encouraged by this song, and it gave me the opportunity to start this solo project. I hope to be able to see you all in a different form. 'I loved singing as a child, and I still do.' The 6 years since I've arrived in Tokyo has quickly passed, and I've been able to have a satisfying music life. I am so greatful and blessed to be in an environment surrounded by the members (Ryo + Ryu), staff, and all the fans. I not only enjoy singing but I love to play the guitar and piano, and I have always wanted to be involved in the creating side. (ie. lyrics, songs) This time I am allowed to challenge not only as a performer, but also as a creator. I want to directly express the things I love and have treasured, and believe that it will be accepted. Group activities are important to me and so they will be continued, evenly with solo activities."
His writing shows that he's still learn everything he wanna know. he's trying that hard so that he can see and feel the result. as for me, i wanna bring the spirit and enthusiasm of Keita to my own road. i couldnt tell you this, but i hope i could always move and try everything im afraid of. even the worse...
"Arigatou nee, Keita kun, for bringing the soul to me.
Tanjoubi omedetou nee! Ganbarimasu!"
"HAPPY BDAY KEITA! GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!!!"
NB: Keita debut album KOE [Voice] 2006.11.29 RELEASE.

"Have you heard of this?
'to comprehend the value of one year, just ask the student who failed their exams. to comprehend the value of one month, just ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby. to comprehend the value of one week, just ask the editor of a weekly newspaper. to comprehend the value of one hour, just ask the lovers who are waiting to meet. to comprehend the value of one minute, just ask the people who missed their stop on the train. to comprehend the value of one second, just ask the person who managed to avoid an accident just in time. to comprehend the value of tenth of a second, just ask the person who ended up with a silver medal at the Olympics.'
The hands of the clock will continue ticking. Therefore, treasure every moment you have and treat today as the utmost gift you'll have."
Yuuki said that.

He's really hit me deep with that words. bcoz sometimes i just let everything pass through my back. Yuuki, as reflected on his name, has given everyone 'courage' and it feels like he just passed on all the courage he had to everyone around him, even until the day he passed away. [Yuuki in english means: courage] The best thing of Yuuki is that he knows everyone well. If he knows you, he knows you well. Your character, what you like, what you dont like, your personality and many things. And started from that, he can gives you the best advice you need.

Yuuki died because of the illness called Vanishing Bone Disease. Nicknamed dissapearing bone illness. As for the skull, he's the eighth case[in the world]. The illness begin with the appearance of a lil hole on the bone. As for Yuuki, its in the back of his left skull. And even after going through many tests, the cause remained unknown.
The first case of this kind of illness was reported in 1883. In the past 170 years, there were only seven cases (in the world). Theres no official name for this illness, but the doctors said the name just now, as: Large Bone Dissolving Symptom. Its dissease where bones dissolve.
Because of that, Yuuki had a very short life. But on that very-short-life, he taught me to really treasure every second i had. It reminds me that nothing's last forever. Theres some times that i have to lose something or a few or many things i have now. And maybe if someday's come, i'll regret it, i'll miss it... so~ it put me back on the thought that i have to really treasure everything i had while i still have time to do it. Things like friends, love, stuff like books and shoes, or even my own mind--my memories...

I think its really scary to think that i'll lose somethings i have, but that scary feeling brought me back to my realize that i just have to tresure it. Treasure it. Enjoy it. Feeling it right. Just like what Yuuki had said.
Arigatou... Yuuki.

This blog goes on to River Phoenix, for his anniversary of his death, October 31.

if you are wondering who's the guy on my myspace-background for the whole October, he's River Phoenix.
i adore this actor since i was in junior high, after watching his movie, Stand By Me, a movie based upon Stephen King's short story, The Body.
for those of you who never knew him, or even heard his name, for the beginning, i would say "yes", if you ask whether the family name has some connection with Joaquin Phoenix. River is his big brother. well, i'll write some about him here.

River Jude Phoenix was an Academy Award-nominated American film actor. He was listed on John Willis' Screen World, Vol.38 as one of twelve "Promising new actors of 1986." He received high praise for his acting talents by such critics. hm... now you know where Joaquin got his talent, ait?
i wont write much things about how his family lived and all stuff, juz to make it short. ah, i always say that, but always ended up the long way. hahaha!!!
alright, River was born August 23, 1970, in Madras Oregon, USA. He has four siblings; Leaf [we know him as 'Joaquin']his only brother, Rain, his first sister who is the lead singer in a band called the Papercranes and an actrees, Summer, his second sister who is also an actrees, and Liberty, his third sister who quit acting when she was still a child. whoa! amazing sibling right? [remember The Moffatts?? hehehehee!] btw, he and his family were all vegetarians. he believed that eating animals are wrong.
River had significant juvenile roles in Stand By Me, as i told you before, i fell in love with his character in the movie, Chris Chambers, since he looks similar to Scott Moffatt, which is the one i adore that time. hahaha!!! its kinda funny coz thats the only reason why i like him. but then i did searching for some more about River Phoenix, so im not comparing him with Scott Moffatt anyway.

River took his first role 1982 and has at least be part of 23 movies until his time of death. After filming Stand By Me, River moved to the set of The Mosquito Coast where he plays Harrison Ford's son. he's 16 at that time. At the age of 17, he was nominated for an OSCAR for best supporting actor for his role in Running on Empty. He also portrayed a teenage Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. He was totally great in playing every role. thats why i like him. ;)
River met Keanu Reeves while Reeves was filming on River's brother's set and later went on to star opposite Reeves in Gus Van Sant's My Own Private Idaho. [you MUST see this movie if you havent! seriously!] for which he WON the Best Actor Award from the Venice Film Festival. His friendship with both Reeves and Van Sant continued beyond the movie.
River was also a good friend of John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Papers' guitarist) and appeared on his second solo album Smile From the Streets You Hold on the song "Height Down". He had a band called Aleka's Attic before he died which is also included his sister Rain and, later, Flea of the Red Hot Chili Papers and Sasa Raphael, both on bass guitar.
River dislike being seen as juz a sex symbol and usually refused to smile for photographs. but thats okay, no problem for me coz he looks damn great when he's acting so cool. hahahah! River professed to believed in healthy lifestyle that inclued Veganism [i told you before] and Holistic medicine - but obviously did not extend to abstaining from hard drugs.
River died at age 23, October 31, 1993 from drug overdose of heroin and cocaine (speedball) outside the Viper Room, a Hollywood night club partly owned by actor Johnny Depp. The autopsy also revealed traces of cough syrup, crystal meth, and cannabis in his blood. Flea was present at the time, as was River's younger bro Joaquin. He was rushed to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center but any attemps to resuscitate him were to no avail. He was pronounced dead at 1:45 AM. At the time of his death, River was acting in the starring role of the movie Dark Blood, which was never completed. He was also due to start filming on Interview With the Vampire [yes! that one with Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise on it!] as the interviewer, Daniel Molloy. Christian Slater eventuall took on his role, donating his fee for the film to charity in honour of River Phoenix. you can see it in the end of the movie, after the credits. River was cremated in Gainesville, Florida a few days later, and the ashes were spread at the family's ranch near Micanopy, a few miles south of Gainsville.
some people say that River was streesed under his 'unprepared-able' mental of popularity. i kinda think that can be true, being famous in a very clik of time, imagined how teenagers that time, there were not much young actors like him. i regret that he went into drugs... but no matter how bad it was, many ppl have been touched by him, personaly or by character. thats why theres a lot of tributes and references in music about him. they are: - Versus released an LP in 1994 titled The Stars are Insane, includes track 4 titled "River". - Brazilian singer and songwriter Milton Nascimento wrote and recorded a song dedicated to him titled "River Phoenix". - in 1995, Australian alternative rock band TISM released a song named "(He'll Never Be An) Ol' Man River" and the song came in at #2 in the Triple J Hottest 100 for that year.whoa! - He's the subject of the Rufus Wainwright song "Matinee Idol" - R.E.M dedicated their album Monster to him, - RHCP's "Give It Away" indirectly mentions him. Moreover, Transcending was written entirely about River. - Grant Lee Buffalo's song "Halloween" is a homage to River Phoenix: "youre only 23, River/ And youre restless as the sea, River/ but you had a hold on me, oh River" And the chorus: "you were like my own James Byron Dean/Private Idaho was my East of Eden/ Hit me like a stone when i heard you passed on Halloween" - rocker Chris Connelly titles a song "The Early Nighters (for River Phoenix)" on his 1994 album, Shipwreck. - while not a tribute per se, Japanese video game character designer and director, Tetsuya Nomura, has gone on record as saying that the designof Final Fantasy VIII's protagonist, Squall Leonhart, was based on River Phoenix. cool! - During two performances on November 13th and 15th 1993, Kurt Cobain of Nirvana dedicated the song "Jesus Dont Want Me For a Sunbeam" to River. Cobain also dedicated the same song to River (among other celebrities whi died young) during Nirvana's very last American shows in Seattle in January 1994. Tragically Kurt Cobain would suffer a somewhat similar fate in April 1994. hhhh..... - Brooklyn band Nada Surf wrote a song entitled "River Phoenix" on their special demo album 'North 6th Street' (1999); the song specifically references River's role in My Own Private Idaho. - Dana Lyons, a Washington state folk musician, has recorded a tribute entitled "Song for River Phoenix (if I Had Known)". - John Frusciante wrote and dedicated the song "Smile from the Streets You Hold" to River. the second part of the song was added after River's tragic death.
i personally adore him even until now. I've been touched by the way he put the roles on his every character. he was a great actor and everybody can say that. There's only one thing to regret, River died too soon. I always imagine how is it gonna be if he's alive right now. he could be huge. and i seriously think he would. but well, he spread his wings and fly away...
Happy Halloween! Rest in peace, River.

i didnt even touch my compie for a couple days juz bcoz i was too beeezzeee doing sumtin else. well, its not happening at the moment actually, but its kinda... early October.
juz wanna write that i LOVE my grandma's sewing machine!

alright, first thing first, this sewing machine that my grandma used to have [she passed away when i was 12] is juz outside of my bedroom. My Mom owns it right now, but i think it was broke or sumtin so no one ever use it. my younger Sister use it about a month ago, and to my surprise, she can manage it well. she even did it to make a bag for her friend! she's juz amazing, i should say. right after that, Mom thought that she should call someone and make it repaired. and yeah she did.
Rock + Roll Stole My Soul was my FIRST sewing experience ever. [with the sewing machine] well, it actually not, i mean, i was make some 'creativity' for my Skullberries tshirt before im doing Rock + Roll Stole My Soul. well, juz see it.
 SKULLBERRIES!
this t-shirt was an original tshirt. i juz love the skullberries picture coz... what dya say, its cool! but there was [i think] a billion tshirt like that! even though some of them were printed different model of picture and color, so i was thinkin "okay, i'll buy it, but i hafta do sumtin with it." back home, i cut the collar into V-shape, which is suits my body, and ripped out both side of the waist and patched up some black cloth. i never did anything with that sewing machine so i asked my sister to do me a favor. So eventhough i did sewing it, but i never consider it as my first individual work.

Rock + Roll Stole My Soul i dunno where i got the idea to make it anyway... juz in hurry to get a bday gift for Rere. maybe i juz put every pieces together at that time. ya know, beyond those ideas, i had a lot of pieces in my head: sewing machine, October13, Rere's myspace-name which is, at that moment she is 'RoCk + RoLL StOLe My SOuL', and dont forget; Clint's tshirt! coz thats the main point of the idea. maybe i was thinkin "Rere was so crazy about Clint's Tshirt" so i searched on my computer folder and 'examined' that T shirt. and i ended up with "jeezzz, its only cloths put together, i can make it my own" and thats when i got the idea of giving her the tshirt. the first part of working was the characters. it was not so difficult when you sew it to the square lil cloth, but it was bloody difficult juz to cut the shape of R or S or E, coz i think theyre tiny... everything seems so easy after i did that part. the next was stick them up to the white tshirt. my work was kinda stop for sometimes coz i havent buy the tshirt yet. heeheehee... at that time i bought it, i made it right away. i remember i started working at 10 PM and finished it at about 2 AM. i was thinkin that id spend the whole night sewing it, but i didnt. it ended up with me, wanting the same tshirt tho... coz its cool. hahahahh!!! i sent it out to Rere on October11, hoping she could get it right on her bday, October 13. she received it on time. and she said she loves it. "thankyou, dear!"

Totemo Daisuki Doraemon!! sure it becomes some kinda addiction, coz i couldnt get away from that sewing machine. i mean, i began to love it, well, i guess its becoz i could use it now. so, its kinda weird coz i opened up my closet and searched if theres something that i can make it new. found that Doraemon tshirt that hasnt see it for a while. Doraemon is my fave character ever. it didnt suits me anymore since it was my lil bro's tshirt. i did wearing it for a couple years, but i grew up and its now sticking to my body like my second skin. hehehhh...so i decided to crop that Doraemon figure and sew it to my big brown bag. thats my fave bag coz its huge, i can put everything i want on that bag. oh, i added the rock+roll type of words there "totemo daisuki" [totally love] from the same cloth. so you can read "Totemo daisuki Doraemon" [totally love Doraemon] cool, eh? i was a profesional that time. hahaha!!! i mean, after the experience with the Rock + Roll Stole My Soul-tshirt, it was definately easier to do. i did the whole thing, even from croping the characeters and did sewing them up, i juz need FOUR HOURS. great!

I Am Canadian the next day, all i wanted to do was to make some more. hey, i told ya, it was addicted. so the same bag [still] but different face. it used to had a flower on a pot, but i dont really like that drawing. i used to cover em up with pins. so, another idea when i finished doing my Doraemon thing, and about to sleep at almost 6 oclock in the morning. i had an idea to make a Canadian flag to cover up the flowers. that morning, eventhough i was tired i couldnt sleep, coz i think about the next idea. hihihihihiii.... the problem is, i dont have red and white cloth so i hafta buy some. no big deal, baby! on the same day, afternoon, i went to the cloth shop and bought what i need. plus red thread, coz i didnt have that color. for this one, i spent the whole day making it. trouble with the red cloth tho. i did it on a day light, different with the other two. i woke up at 11 and started doing it, didnt get up until i finished it late after noon. i tried at least 5 times to make that leaf. the cloth is different and it always ... what to call it? 'hang loosely' more and more. so its kinda difficult to sew. and after that 5 times failure, i did it burned. i mean, i burned the edge so it wont 'asunder-apart'. what a day... i remember i didnt leave it, even for a bath i did take a bath tho, but after finishing my Canadian flag. the I AM character was an idea after seeing some beer commercial I AM CANADIAN [cant catch the brand of the beer tho...] juz NOW i remember that it was also a tattoo thats written on Scott's left arm after finish it. ooopps... hehehee...

Newspaper bucket this is the last work ive done. have nutin to do at that moment but juz wanna do sumtin with that sewing machine. when i went to the toilet and found some newspaper& magz on a lil chair, i thought "okay, lets make sumtin for it" hahahaa!!!!! so i did it. it was basically juz put everything together. its an ordinary tshirt, you can tell. i juz cut the arms and stick em up, get the blue cords, sew the bottom cloth and there you go! put everything you like on it.
damn... long writing as usual.

Have I told you lately that I love you Have I told you there's no one else above you You fill my heart with gladness Take away all my sadness Ease my troubles, that's what you do
For the morning sun and all it's glory Greets the day with hope and comfort, too You fill my life with laughter Somehow, you make it better Ease my troubles, that's what you do
There's a love that's divine And it's yours and it's mine Like the sun And at the end of the day We should give thanks and pray To the one, to the one
Have I told you lately that I love you Have I told you there's no one else above you You fill my heart with gladness Take away all my sadness Ease my troubles, that's what you do
[Have I Told You Lately - Rod Steward]
This song was played during my writing-letter for my best friend, and i juz... i dunno, i stopped writing for a moment and felt like im gonna cry all of a sudden. hahaha! it sounds weird, i know. but i juz, somehow i realize that i dont have that kinda 'someone' anymore.
September 24th 2006 supposed to be an 7th anniversary of my relationship. but it has no future. oh God, do i [or we?] really reach that number???
i was trying not keeping that day on my head but he juz came and said "happy anniversary". but whats the point? my heart already being left, even tho he's still around but he's juz an empty soul. while the one who was only a 'shadow' slowly became a fully shape. well, at least i 'think' so. i ran to that shadow whos been deep inside of me for the whole years, even more at the moment, since i have no one to hang on......... all my dreams and my future.
a friend told me that i could never escape unless i have someone new.
on a lonely night i somehow think, in a line of a song: 'love isnt always as you dream it should be' hell, yeah... i wonder, if theres someone outhere ever on the same shoes as mine...
Love is painful, especially when youre left by someone you already put ur trust on, but that special someone wasnt really sure what to lookin for in you.
i used to have dreams, now i dont... well, i have my own dreams, like going into some major publisher, with the best novel i wrote...or...finally going to Canada and visit some places that i wrote as a setting on my first novel. i think thatd be cool.
hey! i got it. i dont have to be worry, i have myself. and to be alone sometimes is okay. right?

Current mood: happy
viefh........ it seems like forever since the last time i wrote my blog. writing is my everything but time's killing me!!! but now im back. BACK!
hahahhaaaaa!!!! anyway, this blog would be about the person who influences me [deeply] at the moment.
yup! ive always [and will] learn from others if they'd do me better way. ive been influenced by Scott Moffatt, Hyde, Leehom, Christina Aguilera, Stephen King, and others. as for now:
Mika Nakashima. ive learned alot from her lately, and i think theres a lot more to come. [kick off from writing this blog, actually]

Well, for those of you who has no idea who the hell she is, let me tell you that she's one of the best Jazz singer in Japan. Recently i juz found out that she's not only into jazz but she explores other genre as well; ballad, swing, rock, and even reggae! She's also do movies.
I've been knowing her by news but never once heard her voice. Until i listened to her single Aishiteru [I Love You] and its a very ballad song. I fell in love with her right away. The next song i got was Find The Way, this is also a very catchy ballad song, and it is used as a soundtrack of Gundam Seed.
Well, lemme write some shorta bio bout her before we go on. Born February 19, 1983, Kagoshima-Ken, Kyushu, Japan, her hobbies are collecting shoes, Aroma therapy, writing lyrics, drawing, Photography and Nail art. She's 160 tall [not bad for Japanese] and [this is interesting!] her fave character is DORAEMON! which is the one that i love too!

On 2005, she did movie, NANA, and also sang for the soundtrack Glamorous Sky which is composed by 'the-one-and-only' Hyde. ng.... i dunno if this is bcoz of Hyde or the song, or the movie, or sumtin, she became so..... rock. i mean; ROCK. bcoz her previous image was cool, calm, never smile, but elegant and beautiful. but she's a rocker bcoz of Hyde!!!she even got this short-short-hair like him!!! back in the day, she always had this smooth-long hair. anyway, its a 'scenarios' for NANA. Ah! but leave it for that. i hafta start from the beginning.

MIka's first album TRUE released in August 2002 was a #1 hit in the famousJapan- charts; Oricon. In only 3 weeks, True became a million seller. Then as commemoration of one year since her debut, Mika released a Premium EP Resistance, which hit the charts #1 spot two weeks in a row. Until now, she has four albums, including her compilations, BEST [released December 2005].
She has won her a vivid public recognition and aroused the excitement in many listeners of her generation. It was not a surprise that 2002 was a great year for Mika as she received "New Artist of the Year" from The Japan Gold Disc Awards, "Best New Artist of the Year" from All Japan Request Awards 2002, and "New Artist of the Year" from the 44th Japan Record Awards.
She became one of the most popular female vocalists in Japan. Her popular songs include Gundam Seed's ending song "Find the Way", "Sakurairo Maukoro" (When The Cherryblossom Colors Dance), and "Yuki no Hana"(Snowflakes) which was covered by Korean male singer Hyo-Shin Park and this covered song is inserted in popular Korean drama Mianhada Saranghada (Sorry, I Love You). It was also one of the most popular karaoke songs in Japan in 2004. In 2004 she sang the ending theme of the anime series based on the manga Hi no tori (Phoenix) as aired on NHK.
On her acting side, In 2003, Mika made her debut as an actress in the movie "Guuzen Nimo Saiaku Na Shonen." (Rare Teenagers) and she plays a young girl with a heart disease.

In 2005, her second debut as an actress, Mika took the main-role of the punk rock character Nana Osaki, on the live-action movie NANA, based on the manga of the same name, which was released 2005-09-10.

She also sang one of the theme songs for the movie, which was released as a single under the name "Nana starring Mika Nakashima". The single, titled "Glamorous Sky" was written by the manga's author, Ai Yazawa and composed by L'Arc~en~Ciel frontman Hyde. It was Mika's first #1 single on Oricon charts. The single has sold over 423,000 copies making it the best-selling female single of the year and the tenth highest selling overall.

Oh, and she was recently nominated at the MTV Video Music Japan as "Best BuzzASIA from Japan" for "Amazing Grace '05", and the "Glamorous Sky" video was nominated as "Best Female Video" and "Best Video from a Film". She won the "Best Video from a Film" award. SUGOI!!! [Jap: great!]
LET'S MUSIC TOUR 2005
juz a week ago i got a chance to watch her DVD LET'S MUSIC TOUR 2005, and this is the first time i watched her concert. it was AMAZING!!!! i always have heart attack (???) everytime i heard her new single if its not her usual thing. such as, knowing that her single Kuchizuke (Kiss) was more reggae tha jazz! [ill talk about Kuchizuke later on] but this concert was, the Japanese will say: "SUGOOIIII!!!!!!!!" since its really wonderful. She opened up with the warm and soulful Amazing Grace, fully equipped with the hollogram of Jesus behind the stage. oh, and the stage itself was decorated as it was a Catholic Church. She even had her two back-up singer dressed with a typical-long-robe of Church's choir. "Mika Nakashima desu. Thankyou for coming to my concert, hope you enjoy the show. Arigatou!" she said after the finishing her first two songs. Then, crawling song after song, she stepped into some more up-tempo-pop on Rocking Horse before she took the audiences back to her lovely ballad Yuki No Hana and Aishiteru. She, then, left the stage juz to reappear as NANA. Singing My Medicine in fully english, the audiences shout "NANA!!NANA!!!" Mika was laughing and [re] introduce herself; "Hai, watashi wa Nana desu!!!" (Yes, i am Nana) She then told them that the song that is going to be sang was Glamorous Sky, composed by Hyde. The crowd went wild...

Off from Nana and back to Mika, its time for lullaby. Two ballerinas were running around the stage followed by another two fellows. it was a beautiful moment, whenever the song turned into a slowy-jazz then came up with another song with up-tempo jazz. i can tell she's really enjoying moving around with the jazzy tunes and juz shaking her legs, which is still in a 'form' of Nana's black stocking and thick soles. She then introduced her back up band, vocals and ballerinas before went off, leaving the audiences waited for the next three songs as an encore. the very last song she sang was Alicia Keys' If I Aint Got You. with a pianist and her two singers, she sang the song together. nobody knows why she cried when she sang the second chorus. she even stop coz she couldnt continue sing with her broken voice, and had her hand covered her face. maybe it was because she's touched with the song, and relieved that the concert is done. i dunno. but i was crying too!!! hahaha!!!! i was crying because of seeing her! it was touching, i swear... and then, A Miracle For You played on to show the audiences [like me, who only watch it on DVD. ;p] what happen backstage. some funny stuff like preparing the stage, doing make up and hair do, vocal training and Mika's journey.... ya know, more tears to come ......
Alright, enough about the DVD. i juz found out some news, well, its already a couple weeks ago tho, that Mika joined Mandy Moore and NERD on charity. hm.. i love knowing ppl do charity! hehe.. below is the short article:
MANDY MOORE, N.E.R.D, MIKA NAKASHIMA UNITE FOR JAPAN CHARITY.

TOKYO -- They came together touting a purse brand, but stars joining forces to help those battered by the forces of nature hope that thousands of Japanese music fans will loosen their purse strings for a much greater cause.
Actress and singer Mandy Moore, the hip hop group N.E.R.D. and Japanese singer Mika Nakashima are slated for the "Play For Peace," charity concert in Tokyo to raise funds for the survivors of the massive Tsunami waves that devastated parts of Asia in December. Coach is sponsoring the charity concert and is pledging $150,000 to UNICEF to go towards Tsunami relief aid.
*Another fact about Mika are: - She is also a member of the White Band: End Poverty Association. - She is the first Japanese to receive an Honorary Citizenship from Memphis. - She likes to sleep because she likes dreams. - Her ethnic background has always been a controversial issue. Some people think that she is Hispanic but she is pure Japanese. - Favorite Flower: Lotus. Thats why she got lotus as her symbol. check it out in her every cover album. - Favorite Insect and Reptilia: Spider and Butterfly. She expossed alot about butterflies. in her video Kuchizuke [Kiss] wich i really LOVE watching her there, she's a butterfly. ill write it later on. [ugh! its gonna be a never ending blog, i guess...] - Favorite Color: Black and Purple. Yes, purple everywhere. every album of her, purple always on the cover. like the BEST and her 3rd album, MUSIC.
KUCHIZUKE The video of Kuchizuke or Kiss in english is the best video of her that i watched so far. the story of the video clip started with a white cocoon, which is her in a simple make up, and she was struggling to get out. the next thing, she turned into a butterfly. on the diner table, full of flowers on the plate, she waited for another butterflies, which is kinda-frozen on an ice cube. you can see that she's already got her wings. she then blew a kiss on the ice cube around her fellow butterflies. and then the ice melted and the butterflies were finally free.

on that video there were lots of scene about butterfly. its all about the transformation. Fully dressed up and make up, she really IS a butterfly. She even had her face and her body peeled out and came up with another-new-her. cool! i cannot capture alot of screen shot tho, remembering that ive already wrote TOO MUCH for this-time-blog. gomenasai, keep you reading this much....
Well, guess i hafta stop for now. as an info, i juz cut my hair like her bout a week ago. hahaha!!!! i mean, i dunno what was on my mind, but i was really stuck up on her and i was really 'enough' with my long hair. its been a while since i keep it long without my hair-advicer. hey, the hell im talking about??!! hahaha!!! i mean, ive been cutting my hair myself for some times... juz cut here and cut there, so its kinda fucked up, and at that time, my hair's condition wasnt really good. so i decided to go and juz had it cut like hers. and i love it. its shorter now, but still i have my long hair on the back. juz exactly like her on this picture.

So, thanks for reading up to now.
love,
Dora

Category: Goals, Plans, Hopes
Alright, this is probably the most fuckin silly things youve ever read, but i wanna put it into my blog and share with you. i know the title is kinda hideous [if you wont call it crazy] but its just that i have this kinda feeling: "Hey! i felt it too!" when i read the interview and its for OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
in this cute-blog, i wanna share the exact feeling / compare with what i did with my novel.
i dunno who will read this anyway, but i just wanna say that Scott is talking the right thing. He's real, believe me.
so check this out! [my comment on his words is beneath his, and its written in blue]
*****
DJ: So you did everything yourself? Wrote, recorded, mixed, produced, you did the whole thing yourself.
SCOTT: Everything on this record was done by me, yeah.
when i wrote my first debut novel, ['Allegory of the City' is Scott's first debut solo album] i DID everything myself also. i thought and imagined the concept, wrote, edited, produced everything myself. it might be the hardest thing to do, but its surely the most proudest thing to be talked about when its finished. bcoz everything was done by myself right?
DJ: So how long does it take? I guess there's no actual set in stone type of time, but how long does it take you to finish a song? SCOTT: Well it's all over the place. Sometimes it takes two days to get the song finished, sometimes it takes half an hour. So it really just depends on my mood, you know, what I've been doing lately and if I'm thinking too much or not. It's really random.
well, 'its all over the place' is the most suitable line to express what the solo artist did at that moment. i can spend a week to get one chapter finished, sometimes it finished only in just two days. its absolutely right if he said its all depends on the mood. i can spend my days in front of my computer, from when i open up my eyes til i close my eyes again, if im really on my mood, then i'll keep writing til i faint. hahaha... but theres a long moment when im totally paused, not writing anything tho.
DJ: So clearly having creative control of that affects the process, being a solo artist. I mean, do you come up with a whole lot of songs and then go 'that was shit, I need to start again'... SCOTT: Oh yeah, I'm always chucking songs. In fact, I had 6 or 7 songs recorded prior to starting this record in LA, and I just decided I wasn't going to use those. But what I'm doing with those is, we did this pre-order thing for the record, and whoever pre-ordered the record would get a CD with these songs on it that I didn't end up using on the record. So I'm gonna use it, but they're not really... they don't fit my style right now.
the 'I need to start again' is really common i think... ive been going through a lot of starting paragraph or even chapter that doesnt fit my mind, usually bcoz i stop writing for some times. i grew quickly i think, just from reading new novels, watching movies and even listening songs... so after the break-time, and the read-again-section before continue-writing-section, i put it into eerrr.... some kinda wrong-beginning-folder. but i keep it tho... who knows someday its gonna be used to make a new one? ;p
DJ: Do you prefer... I mean, I know you've been in bands and whatnot... do you prefer being a solo artist? SCOTT: Yeah I think so. It's a lot more work but I think I'm happier with what I end up doing, and I don't end up fighting with a whole bunch of people and pissing a bunch of people off, so... it's better this way I think.
well, i am all ive got in this 'world'. ;) i mean, as an author, ive never been working with other people. i do, asking opinions to my sister and my bestfriend, but they dont tell me what to do, its all up to me. so that is the right answer from Scott that this way is better for him to feel the greatest feeling when the work has finished. and we should celebrate it. =) so yeah, being a solo artist is cool. he should be happier.
DJ: So what do you expect from this record? Is it a self affirmation thing, is it a personal thing, what do you want to get out of it? SCOTT: Well I think that basically what I wanted to get out of this record was for me to develop some sort of style, and kind of enjoy it again. 'Cause after you do it for 18-19 years, it gets kind of tough to be creative and to keep things fresh, so basically this record was a way for me to reinvent myself and make things exciting again, and really enlighten myself as a musician. And I think I did that, I think I figured out something about myself, and I think I figured out my best ways of doing this, of making music.
for me, its more personal. i wrote my first novel to give myself a bday present. i dont think i need to write to give people affirmation about my ability in writing. i think its not really objective, and im still learning coz this is just the beginning, and i do believe that i'll develop my writing with everything i learned, and hopefully, better. so, doesnt matter what ppl think or what they might say bout me, as long as i know myself [as Scott said "figured out sumtin about myself, and figured out my best ways of doing this"] i think my quill is gonna keep dancing through the pure white papers.
DJ: Aside from the personal type stuff out of this record, do you think about... do you want fame, do you want money, do you want recognition? Or all of them? SCOTT: Ah, I would like a little bit of all of it actually, but they say you can't have your cake and eat it too so I'm just gonna hope people recognise. (laughs) I'd like some recognition basically, is actually all I want. I just want people to listen to it, I don't care if they like it or they... I just want a lot of people to hear it.
i do think that recognition is number one. fame and money can flow after that. bcoz how do ppl like me if they didnt read my novel????? apart from they say its good or its bad, i just need people to read it. Hey! i answered this BEFORE i read Scott's answer, believe it or not. i didnt make it up.
DJ: So as I say, you've been in bands before, you've had kind of a major record label followed by an independent band type of thing. You've seen both sides, what's the major difference for you between having kind of a record deal, and then doing independent stuff? SCOTT: Jeez, there's so many differences. Like, I don't have to really deal with anyone but myself, and I don't have to write for anybody but myself. Usually when you have a record label working with you they're kind of pushing you in directions and telling you what you need to do and what you should do... and it's just really stressful because you're trying to please a whole bunch of people. But um... DJ: So what you're saying is this record is probably the most 'you' that you've ever done. SCOTT: Yeah I think so... but you can't really ever tell. You try and make something honest and real and you know, maybe by you trying to do that, maybe you're not. So it's really just confusing and you just gotta go with it, just write and hope that it's you. Or that it's you at the time.
alright, im just gonna comment on his answer bcoz ive never been working with other people as i said before. but yeah, i heard it can be really stressful, working with people. [especially when youre a perfectionist yourself...] but in my word, your novel is always you, although every 'you' in every novel is different. it can be 'the you' youve been dreamin of, or 'the you' from your past, or 'the you' at the time... but i believe that every work youve done is always you.
DJ: Maybe give us a little timeline of what's inspired you to make the changes for this. SCOTT: Well I don't know, I think it was just the circumstance that made me change, and the people I was hanging out with. I think that I kind of write odes to all my friends and to people I know and I think it's just where I was living and the circumstances I was living in, just forced me to write a record like this. And I was being inspired by a lot of things around me that just reminded me of what this record sounds like... I think LA sounds like this to me.
Damn right! the circumstance can change someone, and the people we were hanging out with are also be the reason. i have the same answer with him. i have 4 novels and each of them are inspired and dedicated to my friends and the people who inspired me to write. every setting of the story takes different places, and i think every novel brings their own landscapes when you read it. for example, my first novel, JASON. since the scenery is Canada, [Vancouver and Calgary] i always see myself as the main character and see everything about those places. i can even breathe the snowy-smelly-of-winter in Vancouver. in fact i dont even go to Canada.ive never been in Canada in my whole life. but i think thats what Canada feels to me.
DJ: Do you find that writing a song or writing a record is a sense of closure as well? You say that you write an ode to your friends and stuff like that, you write it and you record it and you... SCOTT: No I would agree, I would agree that finishing a record is definitely a form of closure. You're moving on, you can put that behind you now. And you've documented it so it's a bit of history now. So you can leave it, and you can grow from it, and you can take what you've learned from it... Yeah that's exactly it actually.
i definately would agree that finishing a novel is a form of closure. a nowadays-feeling could be only a history tomorrow, so by writing it, you documented it. you may grow, you may learn new things, but there will always a moment when you miss what youve left behind. and i think its kinda easy to diggin up that feeling by reading your 'document'.
SCOTT: Well, I think... I was talking the other day about this... I think that something that sticks with people is honesty. And talking about yourself, I think people like to hear about other people's lives. And they like to kind of vicariously live someone else's life. So I think that by me writing songs about myself, and about my friends, I think that it's kind of... I think people will like to listen to it because of those reasons. And there is a kind of classic feeling about it. I've been reading a lot of literature lately and I think that there's something about books like The Great Gatsby and Moveable Feast and all these great classic books that is similar to this album because it talks about someone's life, and it's very personal so it's real and it's convincing, and it's believable. I think those are the things that will last.
honesty is the most important thing of all, i think... even love cannot be built without it, right?im really surprized when i found out that Scott also loves reading classic-biography-novel. i think its true that people like to hear bout other people's lives. i guess from that, people can take some ways to follow when they were in a situations or issues like the one on the books. people are smart and they dont wanna wasting time with a crap, so i think thats the main reason why people wanna read the non-fiction books. the last book i read was The Minds of Billy Milligan, a person with compound individualities which is, as a nonexpert readers, so unbelievable. but thats real. and i learned to except the things that a person such as Billy is really exist. thats a new thing for me.
DJ: So hey, what is your definition of success? Like personal success for you? SCOTT: I think just being happy with what you've done is success. You can't base it on any monetary value, it's just about how you feel about it. I think.
yup. being happy and satisfy is my definition of success. everything kinda paid off when you release your work. forget bout how you tired your ass off, or how broke you are... its your feeling that really matter.
DJ: So what is your biggest struggle currently? SCOTT: Uh, to make money. (laughs) I'm having a hard time making money. DJ: I hear you, bro. I hear you (laughs) SCOTT: Yeah (laughs)
um... i need money too... wahahaha!care or not, this is the things that always comes up when we talk about work. but for now, my biggest struggle is time. im having a hard time getting enough time to write my unfinished stories. im doing my minithesis of my undergraduate, so thats really eat my time... ;( but i always wondering how come he [Scott] ran out of money he made since he was 5 years old???
DJ: So there'll be a lot of people listening via internet and via radio right now, and there's a lot of budding musicians out there. Playing guitar in their room and thinking, I could do something with this. What kind of advice would you give people trying to, inverted commas, 'make it'? SCOTT: I'd say just keep doing what you're doing. Always look to be inspired and don't worry about being inspired 'cause it's gonna happen. And you know, if you've got it you've got it, just believe in yourself. I don't think that you should second guess yourself, just keep doin' it.
alright, as a person who's still thinkin 'i could do sumtin with it', i take Scott's advice. comparing to him, i did my 60nd i do realize that i still have to make it the last 40ài'll keep doing it, and yeah, wish me luck, and pray for me! ;p
DJ: Here's a question, I want you to go nuts on this question alright. If you could go back and start this year again and you had one million dollars in your pocket, what would you change? SCOTT: I don't think I'd change anything. DJ: Nothing whatsoever? SCOTT: I wouldn't change anything. I'd spend the million dollars though. (laughs) I'd buy a studio, or a little hut on the beach.
i surely wanted to spend that money for a trip to Canada, the setting of the story, so i could get a better visualization. id like to feel the real experience of walking around in Calgary Stampede and kill myself in Drop of Fear... sumtin like that. but i still wouldnt change anything on my writing. id keep them like that. and oh! its really shocking, but before i read Scott's answer, im thinkin about having a hut on the beach myself. (^_^)" really! no joke man! because i think thats the coolest thing ever! and i think lots of author are spending their time in a typical house like that. i always wanted to be like Johny Depp in a Stephen King's movie Secret Garden. his hut is near the lake tho, but i fall in love with a house near the beach in Deep Impact, coz thats kinda cool. so when i read Scott's answer, i was like "HOH?!!!" and then it went on a very wiiiiiiiiiiiide smile. WAHAHAHA!!!
*****
so, is it cool??? or scary???
tell me what you think, and thanks for your comment.
Dora.
