One of the greatest shows on tv ever, totally got dissed, but at least Sorkin got his dues with West Wing which I'm loving right now working my way through. But Sports Night will always have a dear place in my heart. The episodes go from charming, to funny to endearingly heartwarming and beautiful. Watch them all if you can, there's only 42 eps and it's not nearly enough. ABED TV!!!!Jeremy, Isaac and Kacy Mcall are my faves.

going through a monster punk phase right now, trying to expose myself to all the good beginnings of punk rock in the 80's and late 70's.
Here's the list I compiled thus far and since I'm pretty new to the punk world I could use your suggestions as to essential punk albums that I need to get in order to get a good perspective on the entire movement.
Here's what I got......
Black Flag - Damaged
Minor Threat - Complete Discography
Agent Orange - Living in Darkness
Jim Carroll Band - Catholic Boy
X - Los Angeles
The Jam - This is the Modern World
The Faction - Complete 1982-1985
The Clash - London Calling
The Adolescents - Welcome to my Reality/All By Myself
Operation Ivy - Energy
The Misfits - 1977-1983
The Runaways
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - Bad Reputation
Richard Hell and the Voidoids - Blank Generation
I know I'm missing a bunch, please suggest if you know of a good really good couple of albums I'm missing, I like weird and unknown, avant garde but essential like Faction and Agent Orange, not so much Misfits and Sex Pistols, but if you're a big fan then I'll take whatever you got. I want em' ALLL!!!!!!!!!!

I just found this on David Wain's blog. Probably the funniest shit you'll ever see, ever. I'm a huuuuuuuuge fan of all the original Stella shorts that got them the show on Comedy Central. The show was great but those shorts man, I watched them over and over and over and over. I'd be walking or sleeping and one joke would pop into my head randomly from those and I'd laugh for days on end. Here's a couple of my favorites from those older ones......If you haven't seen them you should watch them all. RAKING LEAVES YOGA PIZZA

It's rainy weather, the highest time of the year for car accidents.
About 3 weeks ago I was hurrying to get something framed for a friend, driving to Michael's going the way I always go.
As I'm making a left turn, a car speeds from the other direction trying to "Make it." The guy clearly saw me turning and fuckin' sped up, I screeched to a halt, he screeched to a halt and we both came to a complete dead stop in the middle of the road.
I yelled out my car. "Fuck you man, do you have a fuckin' deathwish? You prick!" I didn't care if he was a tuffy and would pull out a gun and shoot me, he almost got us both killed cause he wanted to "Make it."
This morning, I had to pull over and breathe a few sighs of life, taking in the fact that I once again survived.
I was driving down Cahuenga to work, again the way I always go, driving to Burbank. And two cars were taking a left turn in the same direction and one idiot tried to fuckin' pass the other guy, both collided right in front of me as I was coming from the other direction, luckily there was no cars in the other lane and I swerved to the other side of the road, missing them by mere inches. I was terrified. I'm starting to wonder if I'm supposed to die. Like I'm the walking dead and some higher power has tried twice to kill me and failed.
There's a movie like that. Oh wait it's a Doctor Who episode, the one like Back to the future where the girl goes back in time and saves her dad who was supposed to die and these creatures come and eat up all of time's mistakes.
Something wants me to die in a horrible smoldering car wreck.
I don't want to drive anymore. I'm really scared.

Once upon a time in the year 2005..... Channel 101 was one of the premier spots on the internet for homestyle garage manufactured and cooked up comedy. A few of it's players hung out pretty regularly and goofed around a lot. One night they goofed around too much and made something by accident. This is the story of Losting.

It's so rare that I go to movies nowadays. But I dig Aronofsky's work. This looks great. Not only was I raised on wrestling but also Mickey Rourke and Marisa Tomei. It's hard to tell from the trailer but this seems like a different kind of movie for Darren. I want to see it though. If only to see how many wrestler's lives he pulled inspirations from and my favorite part of the trailer well I'll wait till you watch it. My favorite part of the trailer was were he was driving and had his wrestling action figure on the dashboard and that just says it all. And how Kurt Cobain screwed up the 90's. That's a pretty awesome line.

I'm sure many of you are unfamilar with the music of Marnie Stern.
A bad ass multi instrumentalist but mainly guitarist who's album. Ummmm, well it's one of the longest titles for an album ever, but here goes.....
This Is It & I Am It & You Are It & So Is That & He Is It & She Is It & It Is It & That Is That
Ha ha, you gotta give her points for a name of an album like that. So anywhoos, I was busy at a show last night and just found out she had a kissing booth last night at her LA show. 3 dollars a peck, 10 for some lip and 100 dollars for tongue.
Now...........thinking back I wish I could've gone and done this, not because it's super creepy but just because. And she's cute and awesome. This is what single guys do they sit around and wish they could kiss pretty girls all day. Wish.
