It’s time to get creative!  This Halloween Hawaiian Moon is participating in a pumpkin carving contest sponsored by the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Walk.  Simply  submit a photo of a spooktacular pumpkin you have carved in the past to info@hawaiianmoon.com.  On October 26th, we will choose the lucky person to carve our pumpkin and soon after have it displayed at the window of our Waikiki Beach Walk retail location!  A complimentary pumpkin will be available to be picked up at our Ward location on October 26th.  The deadline to return the pumpkin at our Ward location is on October 29th.  In the final process, a panel of judges from the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Walk will be choosing which store has the best carved pumpkin (1st place: $100, 2nd place: $50, 3rd place: $25), and if chosen, you could win up to $100 in cash!

 

Rules: Originality is key, use your imagination!  We love originality; therefore, new ideas are welcome.  We will contact the lucky person that we have chosen for more details. 

 

Note: No sexual, or inappropriate content.

Funny! As I was driving on H1 to the main office of Hawaiian Moon, I SWEAR it was raining! But, I looked both to my right and left, no other cars seemed to be getting the rain on them! I was confused.. then I looked about 30 feet ahead of me, and a...pparently, the guy's car in front of me was trying to wash his front window, but at that speed it was missing his car COMPLETELY and went onto mine! I love Hawaii!

If Hawaiian Moon were stingy, it wouldn't be Hawaiian Moon (*tear*).... Many places would HATE to part with their money making products, but not Hawaiian Moon! REALLY, some stores, when asked if they could donate something they will either RELUCTANTLY donate something (grasping onto their product iin a mini tug-of-war before letting go), or flat out say, "No."

Here's a little article in the Honolulu Advertiser:

"We had a surprise visit from Aaron Chan of Hawaiian Moon, bearing gifts for all the children. Each one of them now have an authentic 'Made in Hawaii' Aloha shirt or dress".

Hi Everyone!
I'm Jewelz, I just thought I'd share with you my experiences here at Hawaiian Moon. First, when meeting the owner, Aaron, you instantly know that everyone here is going to be especially pleasant to work with.... I know you're thinking, she's new so she's GOING have to say that.... Yes, for the most part (hah), but trust me, you'll know that I'm telling the truth when you actually meet them.

I speak really fast, so, half the time you can tell by everyone's facial expression that they are STILL processing what I have just said as I walk away. I'm not sure if everyone has experienced this, but when going into a new job, you're really excited and try to put your best foot forward as you go into the office building. Well... I DID put my best foot forward, literally. This morning I walked into the office, and there were several ladies who were doing their work, minding their own business when a little Japanese girl walks in (me)...... and trips. NOT a good first impression, but it at least it was a memorable one.

I feel really comfortable here, so I'm hoping to have all of you feel the same way. It's really a family here, therefore, please keep in touch with us so that you can see the funny stories we experience. Be a part of it.
