Doom Metal Union está impulsando una campaña para hacer que el Doom, Drone, Sludge y Stoner sean categorías oficiales en MySpace.

Muchas bandas en alguno de los estilos mencionados deben poner " Downtempo" para describir su estilo, lo cual es bastante vago...

Ritmos como la Polka o el Two-Step (!?) tienen categoria oficial en MySpace, ¿Por qué el Doom no?

Asi es: fui invitado a unirme a un nuevo webzine o revista online dedicada principalmente al rock / metal más underground y extremo, con especial atención a las bandas locales.

El lanzamiento oficial es este lunes 19 de enero, ahí daré a conocer nombres y demás.

Esta idea nace al alero de otra webzine y cibercomunidad ya existente en el escenario nacional, pero con la intención de volcarse hacia bandas y estilos que no estaban recibiendo la misma cobertura.

Personalmente me inclinaré por las mismas bandas y líneas con las que siempre me he identificado, es decir, doom, stoner, heavy... metal oldschool oscuro y poderoso...

Así es que, bandas, sellos y promotores: espero sus noticias y boletines. Para aquellas informaciones distintas a las de los boletines de MySpace, así como para información de cómo hacer llegar material promocional para reseñas o invitaciones para cubrir recitales, pueden escribir a oscar.nawel (a) gmail. com
