Hey everyone,

Just a quick note to let you know that we are working to finish the record we started, and start the new project as yet untitled, but on a side note, our close friends finally got their final record out

Nakatomi Plaza - Ghosts (yes they ripped us off, they always do)

It's available for free or by donation on their site www.nakatomiplaza.com, so head over there and take a look and download it, it sounds phenomenal and reminds me of the many shows we were lucky enough to play with them. We always called them our brothers and sisters from a different state, and I always loved watching Al, Lou and Oscar kill it on stage time after time no matter how many people were or (most often) were not there. Easily one of the most underrated and ignored (which I always hated when we were called, but being honest) bands in any genre. They stretched the ideas of punk or hardcore, put van halen shredding in whenever they felt like it, strong female vocals and one of the most solid drummers I've ever watched. So go pick it up and they are on a final tour and if you are lucky enough to be close to a show I command you to go, it will be well worth it.

History

Well after 6 years (that feel like 20) we are playing our last shows next week on Thursday June 11th in Tampa @ New World and Friday June 12th in Orlando @ Redlight Redlight.

Many factors have led us to this point as a band.
We've pushed our musical boundaries about as far as we feel we can with this type of music,whatever that may be haha

Our amazing bassist and long time friend Travis has been accepted into the Secret Service and will be leaving us for the President,so we're not too upset with his decision to leave us ;)
I'm actually a little envious,but we're all really excited for him and are happy he has been able to play a part and move us forward in our experience. He will be missed immensely.

It seems like a lifetime ago when we started this experiment in music and after all these years we are feeling a change in our personal lives and our musical lives. One we feel is for the better and one that we need to do.

Matt,Melissa,Scott,and myself have a plan to keep going in an entirely different musical direction that I think will push us again to be better players and songwriters.We've already started working on this new venture and will hopefully have things ready to roll in a few months. We're going to try and do it right this time haha...

So,that's it.
Come out and see us one last time as HISTORY in Tampa @ NWB June 11th and Orlando @ Redlight Redlight June 12th. We're going to try and play it all!!

This coming sunday (3/15) we were scheduled to play at The Backbooth with Damiera and The Still Voice.
We unfortunately had to drop off the show.
You,however,should still go!
It's going to be a great show.

We will be back in April with our good friends and great band New Roman Times for their cd release shows in Tampa and Orlando!
We should have a few new songs for everyone at those shows,so make sure you plan now! ;)

....well,not really we've been busy with the new record and booking the future,but still....

Yes,the drum tracks are done and some of the bass tracks are done too....we hope!
There was a great time had in Gainesville @ Crescendo Sound Studios with Derron and Addison.
We left Orlando around 7:30am,got to the studio @ 10:30am and started tracking around 1:00pm I think. When there's 15(?) drum mics involved it tends to take awhile to get all the bugs out....especially when my drums aren't tuned up from setting in the cold all night :(

Anyways,we're really stoked on the new songs and the drum tracks.
Can't wait to get it done and in your ears!!!

Things:

This coming weekend we will start tracking drums and bass for our upcoming (yet untitled) e.p.
We're heading up to the wonderful Crescendo Sound Studios to utilize their great drum room and great engineer/cable maker/star wars nut/awesome guy Derron to get the best possible drum sounds ever.
Once we finish that we will begin tracking guitars/vocals/and keys anywhere and everywhere we can.
We're hoping to have everything done by the end of January,but there are no promises ;)



Shows:


We're honored to be playing two more shows in our favorite city (in Florida anyways) in 2008.
The first is the always fun Reax Christmas Party @ New World Brewery in Tampa (ybor city).
If you don't know you betta axe somebody.



The second and last show for us in 2008 will be at The Orpheum in Tampa (ybor city) on Dec.31st. for their annual New Years Eve Party.
More details on that as it becomes available as far as whom else will be playing.

We just uploaded the demo for "Sterves of Neel" for you to download for FREE!

We are also getting ready to go into the studio next week to start tracking drums for the new untitled e.p. that will hopefully be done and out by the end of January...although I'm sure by me typing that now,it will be a little longer hahaha...

Seriously though,we are working hard to get these batch of new tracks recorded and we are more excited about these songs than anything we've ever done.

In the meantime we have a few shows coming up before the end of the year, which we will post up and let everyone know as soon as they are all finalized.
They're going to be some great shows and we'll be playing some of the new stuff!!!

Don't forget we're playing this coming saturday (dec.6th) @ copper rocket to benefit "Toys for Tots". Doors are @ 8 and we play at 11. There's a bunch of great bands and it's for a greater cause. It's $5 or a toy donation (or both) so,make sure you stop by and donate even if you can't stay!!!
